Fumi Hibachi and Sushi Bar
The food was fresh & delish. Our waitress and chef were very attentive, funny and made us feel welcomed. The waitresses was very helpful by bringing the cake we brought for the birthday girl right after we got done eating. Parking is a bit hard to find just because how busy and full it gets. For it being my first time at Fumi my overall experience was great.
Great food. Their sushi is the best! I will be back again soon.
The food is always delicious and they keep high standards for the food.
Service personal are friendly and polite. Chefs are friendly and listen to customers about food presentation
Service was not that good. The waiter did not know that the restaurant did not have the red snapper in stock. He let my husband ordered it and we waited an hour for him to come back and tell us that the restaurant did not have any more. So very poor communication on their end, he apologized but offered very little to correct it. Only a free drink. I was already sharing my food with my husband so by time we found out the hibachi show was over and we had already finished my food. The only reason for my higher stars is because of the quality of the food, the ambiance of the restaurant was very good and the show was entertaining. But if I return to this location, I will have to stress better communication.
Sushi rolls were tiny for the price. The server was pressuring us to get done. They must have been wanting to close between lunch and dinner, but this was a business lunch and we didn’t appreciate feeling rushed.
Food and service was great...will definitely be back
If I could go here every day I would. The food, outstanding. The staff, outstanding. The environment OUTSTANDING.
We dined on a Saturday, and the hosts wouldn't seat us until all of our 8-member party arrived (which I understand). We were able to get cocktails at the bar, but once our table was ready, we only saw our waiter when he took our order. We didn't see him anymore during the duration of the meal/presentation. When we finally got his attention, the meal was over. Not very attentive service, at all.
Our chef, Pablo, didn't make an onion volcano, or throw food into anyone's mouth, but he was ok.
There were families dining that couldn't keep control of their children, so that was very distracting, and loud.
Fumi's was the first Hibachi restraunt I've ever been to, and I cannot wait to go back. The staff is very friendly. Because we made our reservation the night before, we were seated almost immediately. Due to the pandemic, I really appreciate the separation of seating between the different parties when seated at the open table. Once seated we were greeted and acknowledged almost immediately. I loved the many variety of foods and dishes. So with many peoples dietary needs everyone can enjoy the experience. Food was absolutely delicious. The chef will ask you how much or how little you like your food to be, which is great. The portions are more than what I expected, so happy that I was able to take my leftovers home. The pricing is very reasonable compared to other places in the are. I saw Fumi's advertised on Atlanta Eats, and couldn't wait to try it out for myself. Fumi's is definitely a great place to go with family, friends or coworkers. All in all Fumi's is a great place
Everything was excellent, I just wishes our server let us know about bar closing at a certain time, wanted to order more cocktails.
Fumi overbooked the night of Valentine's Day causing my date and I to be unable to actually enjoy sit down hibachi. Our reservation was at 7:00 and we ended up waiting till 7:30 for hibachi till we decided to just sit at a regular table. The food was okay, but not worth the time.
I love this place, food great, price not to bad but too long to cock. Our reservation was at 6:00 and they called us around 6:35, food prepared and served around 7:35 pm.
The Hibachi Lobster and Shrimp was cooked perfectly!
Valentine’s Day with my kids and it was a total mess. One waiter tried to come and redeem the restaurant’s reputation but by then we were over it. It was automatic gratuity which is fine if the service was actually good
Very nice atmosphere, GREAT FOOD, they make sure you have plenty on your plate, and very entertaining. The wait was not long at all (with a reservation).
The food was amazing as you can never go wrong with hibachi but the entire dinner felt rushed. We only had time for one drink and were planning to stay and hang out for one more before we were handed our bill with out even asking for it.
Muy buena y muy recomendable para todos
Great service. Wait was long but worth it. Noise level was extremely high. Babys crying etc.
My son's first time eating at a hibachi. Had a great experience!
Christmas eve dinner
It was an awesome experience. We had to wait a little which was understandable Bc they were short staffed but the food was amazing! I will eat from this place again
We had a great time celebrating my brother's 50th birthday. Love the safety guidelines Fumi has in place. Overall, awesome food and experience. Thank you!!!
For my first time experiencing the food plus eating on the Hibachi side I loved it. The food was good, I somehow loved the fitting classic 1900s music hits, and the seating and ambience was good. The music MAY have been a touch louder than I cared for but that's just as well and it didn't stop me having any conversations with family as we waited, watched, and ate. I will likely be coming back next year for my birthday.
Birthday dinner with friends. Nice time. Very clean and felt safe during Covid
Everything is always so nice here. From the service and food.
Dinner was fantastic! Definitely going again! Great service and atmosphere!
My experience was nothing special. We had hair in our food and plates plus the cook did no entertainment. I had to ask if he could do some. Food was decent next I won’t brag. Once we got the bill it was very pricey for food I didn’t eat, no discounts for the inconvenience.
Celebrated my friends birthday at Fumi .
First time experience; Service was great and the food was good (I had sushi). Overall my experience was pleasant. I will be back!
This spot can be used for a casual dinner or if you want to step it up a notch (like we did), it can fit that experience as well. I went there to celebrate my son's 10th birthday and wanted a nicer ambiance vs the other hibachi spots, and that's what I received. I loved the decor all around, it just elevated the experience we were going for. The staff was very friendly and prompt and the food was delicious . I will definitely be returning- Thank You for helping to make my son's celebration a success!!
Well I have ordered the filet mignon and lobster and they had given up my steak to someone else and I had to wait longer and then to bring it and cook it in the portions small I was still hungry after my whole dinner. Don’t think I wanna come back on Saturday.
We waited WAY too long despite our reservation but Kamaul the bartender and his STRONG drinks surely helped. The server had too many tables so we felt neglected. The Chef went above and beyond to impress us after he realized we were bored and tired of waiting.
I have dined at Fumi in the past for lunch and enjoyed so much, I decided to return for dinner to celebrate my sons birthday. Food and ambiance is great. Always a fun show. Will definitely dine again.
Fumi is great as usual...benihana who?
OMG, me and my wife had an amazing time for Valentines Day, it was awesome.
Everything about this restaurant was amazing!!!! I have no cons/negative things to mention.
The food was amazing. My third time at this location was Friday, we were seated immediately & everything was great.
Food and service were great. Will definitely plan to go again.
Love this place! Great food! Great service! My family enjoyed ourselves.
