Was disappointed this last luncheon with friends. Two of us had a tri tip sandwich. No condiments on the bread but came with a small container of mayo. The waitress deposited a bottle of ketchup. After eating half the sandwich I realized she did not give us the condiment tray. My bad or hers?
Noise level (acoustics) makes it difficult to have a conversation with anyone at your table. Not sure what can be done about this. Otherwise, it's a great place to go for lunch/dinner anytime.
We enjoyed a quiet anniversary lunch here with our young children. We arrived late, about 2pm, and most diners were wrapping up their meal. Our servers were attentive. The food was well prepared and came out fast, and our server treated us to a brownie sundae for our anniversary while our kids enjoyed their kid's menu ice cream sundaes. I would go back, but try to pick a busier time to liven things up a bit.
Amazing good as always, with large servings, great service
Everything was great!
Always reliably great food!
Great service and food! It was a crazy busy night, but everything was still great.
We ordered a Caesar salad and a burger for lunch, both pretty good. However, service needs improvement. We waited for 20-25 minutes for drinks to be served, so the food arrived well before the drinks did.
Good, not great food. My wife, daughter and I went to Fume Bistro for the first time this past weekend for a casual lunch. The service was outstanding and it is a nice, quaint restaurant. The Food, though while good, was nothing too exciting. Given all the great locations in the wine country, I would not return.
Booked Fume for Valentines dinner. Had 6:30 reservations, Lots of people at the bar and the door, thought there may be a wait. No wait at all, we were immediately taken to a nice table. Service was good, even for a really busy night. Food was excellent. The place is a little loud but that is to be expected for a really busy night. My husband hates to go out on Valentines because of the crowds but this evening was excellent. The parking will always be an issue, so expect to hoof it once in a while.
Good food, nice ambiance and very good service. My wife and I frequently eat there for these reasons plus it is close to our home.
This is our go to place for great food and service. We bring our two dogs, they love the Chicken Breast on the Doggie Menu. But because of our dogs we sit outside and if there is a large party or they are busy the noise level is almost unbearable. We just moved to Napa two years ago and when friends or family visit and we want to take them out for a wonderful meal, we head to Fume Bistro. We have had Brunch here twice recently and it was excellent.
Always a good meal and one of my favorite restaurants desserts!
I live Fume Bistro. It’s casual and comfortable. The corner booths are perfect. The pear salad and roasted chicken were delicious.
I took my husband for a birthday dinner at Fume Bistro and had a great meal and a great time! The food was wonderful ( try the Cauliflower Fritters) and the service and staff was spot on. We loved the great energy of the restaurant and decided that it was going to be our new "go to restaurant". We will be back soon! Oh, the Happy Hour looked awesome!
The restaurant accommodated my Mom’s walker and seated us in our requested “upper “ seating area. They graciously stored and returned the walker after our meal....always excellent service and cuisine!
Great food!!! The service on this particular Sunday was not all that memorable, did not ask to refill a bar drink, (we had to ask), not attentive by waiter. BUT!! Overall great FUME Experience!
Good food good service. I would definitely go back.
It's great to have Fume back offering very tasty food again! We were dining with clients of my husband's, all three foodies. They loved everything: calamari, mac and cheese, pork chops, pastas, desserts. Fume will be our "go to" again! Hooray!
We dune at Fume about twice a year. Every time it has been consistently good and we have enjoyed ourselves. The wait-staff always meets our expectations for a good dining experience.
Nothing special going on here... the lunch menu was significantly smaller than what the lunch menu posted on Open Table showed. Not sure whose issue that is ...Open Table or the restaurant. Someone needs to fix that. Anyway, we were disappointed with the limited choices after previewing the larger online menu.
That said the pizza was very good and the grilled chicken BLT not so much - average at best. The folks working here were very cordial and seemed efficient. Not much more to say about this place. Don’t know that I’d return.
My husband and I were pleased with our dining experience at Fume. The atmosphere, food, service and drinks were wonderful.
Good food as always.
Once again, just fabulous. Love this place, my #1 spot in Napa
I hadn’t been to Fume in years, so we thought we would have dinner there for a change. Quite a few folks there for a Monday evening in January. The bar seems to have regulars which is always a good sign. We were seated right away then stop there. Our waiter was friendly, however, it took too long to be greeted and for cocktails. The food was good; grilled artichoke, shrimp cocktail and BF had the NY Strip. Food was tasty; the shrimp cocktail presentation could be improved. We were satisfied with our meal and would go back again. Hopefully, the service will be a bit
Very good food and service. Been here many times, always consistent.
We've passed by this restaurant too many times to count . . . over the many years while driving up Hwy 29 to restaurants located in Yountville, St. Helena, etc.
The restaurant is located in a mixed use setting . . . residential/commercial, with a small parking lot, or street parking.
We've always said we should try it some time, as it frequently looks busy as we pass by . . . but we never wanted to substitute it (or take a chance) for Bistro Don Giovanni, Bistro Jeanty, Mustards, Press, Charter Oak, etc.
Long story short is although the food is decent/good (not memorable) the ambiance, price, food & service don't match (or even come close) to what other restaurants (at the same price point) up valley have to offer.
Bistro Don Giovanni as a great example (a mile or so up the road) has all the boxes checked . . . from the beautiful stand alone building . . . located next to a vineyard, to the stellar food, interior/exterior ambiance, service, huge dedicated parking lot = a total experience.
In saying the above . . . Fume Bistro is not a bad place to eat . . . we just wouldn't return, knowing what's just up the road / Hwy 29.
Fume is one of our favorites, for lunch or dinner. The food is always perfect, the staff very friendly and very accomodating. I frequently recommend Fume and usually take out of town guests there. A friendly a relaxed 'Napa Valley atmosphere'.
Wonderful dinner at Fume. The Waitress was so sweet and attentive. Everything we ate we loved! Definitely save room for dessert!
We were a party of 3 we all enjoyed the appetizers, entrees and dessert we took our own wine and the corkage fee was a minimal 10.00 our server was very attentive will definitely return next time in town.
