Limited wines due to noisy wedding nearby which took over bar service. Fish entrees were overcooked and dry despite our requests not to overcook. Beignet dessert was tasteless. Ambience very nice except for nextdoor noise. Appetizers of crab fritters and tuna good. Ribeye and pasta good.

Didn't get to eat there. Made reservations but they didn't have enough staff to even seat people. 11 people waiting in lobby and no hostess. No one in the restaurant had food. Had to go somewhere else and it was the Saturday before Valentines so every place was booked. Horrible customer service. They should have notified people with reservations.

One server for whole restaurant. Not acceptable and too much pressure on her. Waited too long for first glass of water. Felt like meal should have been comped.

The food was very good absolutely nothing to complain about there. We bought a bottle of wine which we thought was $60 and turned out to be over $255. The menu was very misleading.

We thought the “public house” aspect would mean a bit more than a hotel lobby. Our server was great & food was awesome but there just wasn’t ANY ambiance for fine dining - actually, we were jealous that we weren’t sitting in Carrie’s Conservatory right across the hall - they were busy & had it goin’ on!

The desserts are wonderful but the ribeye was very poor quality relative to the price. I recommend the pork belly and the beignet’s.

So on the initial look this restaurant seems great, but menu is very limited, service just ok and food just average! The hotel in Alpharetta has the nerve to charge $ 18.00 to valet your car when you dine in their mediocre restaurant! Then there is a line to go into their speak easy bar after you dine in the hotel restaurant ! Please don’t bother!! What a waste!!

It’s a new place and that is evident. Service was spotty but the server was very friendly. Food was just ok. Will maybe try it again in a few months to see if they figure things out.

The food was really good, and service was friendly. But, we had the most bizarre experience When ordering a bottle of wine - after we ordered the bottle, about 10 minutes later the server came back and said they didn’t have that bottle. OK, I gave her three other options that would be fine; wait another 10 minutes for someone else to come back and tell us that the bottle was not available, and suggested an alternative. (Great, fine!). When that bottle finally arrived approximately 15 minutes later we had actually already finished our meal. To top it off - the long awaited substitute bottle was clearly corked or otherwise spoiled, which was evident based on the color alone. Finally ordered a glass and got to drink it after my meal was already finished. Strangest experience I have ever had in a restaurant!!

We enjoyed a nice night of dining. The hotel dining area is well decorated and great ambiance. We started with the cocktail specials cats meow old fashion and special margarita with grapefruit… they were excellent. We enjoyed eating a variety of appetizers. The pork belly was very tasty and had a little spice which was a nice touch. We also had the avocado lime quinoa salad which was super healthy and tasty. My wife enjoyed the tomato bisque soup as well

They missed the mark at the Hamilton. It could have been so amazing. It’s boring with no decor. It could be swapped with a Holiday Inn budget restaurant. Saturday night and only 3 tables there. Food was good. But who wants a nice night out with a low budget feel. Hamilton, hire a designer and fix it. There is such demand in Alpharetta.

We ate here on a Sunday night - the service was great, and the food was excellent. The staff was personable, attentive, and pleasant. We had the deviled eggs and pork belly appetizers - wow, that pork belly was amazing (we ordered a 2nd!)! We had 6 in our party; among us we ordered the trout, salmon, pork chop and strip steak. Honestly, we ate every bite. Its early days for this new hotel/restaurant - trying to open during Covid. The only complaint was trying to find it online to see the menu and/or book a reservation. This is a nice addition to the downtown Alpharetta food scene. We will absolutely be back!

New place, so was expecting an enjoyable dinner. The FPH is associated with the Hamilton Hotel. I wasn't aware of the association, it’s obvious if you look at the link to the menu but I missed that link. My first impression was hotel dining area, you know you’ve been there for breakfast in the morning. Maybe a buffet off to the side, maybe not. The bar setup was similar to an event bar at Roswell auditorium. Short wine list and from the list my first two chardonnays’ picks were not available. They had a higher priced chardonnay that I was able to acquire at the lower price given they didn't have the other bottles. So, I save six dollars and only paid $16 a glass (outrageous). I ordered a Dark & Stormy, asking if they had ginger beer I was told yes and waited 30 minutes for a drink that was similar to a D&S but tasted like rum, soda water and some ginger bottled flavoring (dead on arrival). We both decided to go with small bites. Our expectations were now at a low point. We both ordered Crudo which was tuna that day. Tiny portion, with a radish & pepper garnish that was spicy. Why hide the tuna in so much spice! The tuna itself was excellent but too little. I was going to have the Pork Chop, having read it’s excellent but perhaps written by someone that hasn't experienced all the exceptional restaurant within a short walk. Instead of the entrée I had the Southern Caesar with chicken and my wife had the Fulton Crab Cake. My salad was good but they should just call it a Southern salad as it tasted nothing like a Caesar salad. My wife’s Crab Cake was good but it came with a small salad that was heavily spiced. She couldn’t eat the salad. So overall it was a disappointment.
