Fuji Steak House
Entertaining and delicious!
way overpriced. got the steak and it was ok. nothing special. really the only good thing was the entertainment value. the cook was great but the value is horrible. they served us soup which was below par. then salad which was just iceberg lettuce and a cucumber with dressing. then some diced veggies which were ok. my wife got the lobster and it was not good at all. really not worth it at all. i would suggest not going there. ever.
What a fun place to take a family or group of friends for an entertaining and delicious night out. I highly recommend you get the fried rice. It's more money but the best I have ever had. The space is open and perfect. Get sushi or your whole meal cooked in front of you. It's worth it. Plus free parking at the Redmond Town Center. Can't beat that.
Definitely recommend trying this steak house. The food is very high quality, we had sushi, chicken, steak, and all was great. Recommend upgrading rice to the fried rice. Great for groups and family friendly. Excellent service staff.
This was our 3rd time to Fuji Steakhouse. The 1st time it was just after they opened and our experience was mediocre, but we figured maybe they just had some opening kinks to work out. So we recently went back for our son’s birthday and had an amazing experience - the chef put on a fantastic show and the food great! We enjoyed it so much that we decided to go back less than a week later for our daughter’s birthday, bringing along family in town visiting. At first we were excited because we had the same chef... but that quickly faded. The performance was HORRIBLE! He seemed angry to even be there and did barely more than simply cook the food. No engagement, no fun, nothing special at all. It was so disappointing for everyone, but most especially for our daughter and her younger cousin. These places aren’t cheap, and let’s face it, you can get better food for that price elsewhere. But you come for the experience, the show of it all, right? We didn’t get it the 1st time and it was even worse the 3rd time... which will be our last.
Showmanship, entertaining and good food and service at this relatively new restaurant in Redmond Town Center. We had the teppanyaki dinners. They’re expensive for Redmond ($30 minimum), but good service and good drink menu.
Best Teppanyaki chef we’ve EVER had. Had all the kids laughing uncontrollably. Definitely going back!
The food was under seasoned and way overpriced. The people were nice enough but the cook at our table just seemed over it. Won’t be back.
3 of us out of a party of 4 arrived 5 minutes early and explained that we didn't need to wait for other person. We would order for him. We are told okay, we'd be seated in 5 minutes. We are told this by a man 5 times. Then a woman told us we would not be seated at all until other person arrived. And he arrived as we were walking out the door at 7:20.
Great entertainment but the steak and seafood were overcooked
Not too busy, food was really good!
First visit and it was fine! It was expensive for what you get. Service was good.
Festive, fun, tasty food! It's a real event and entertaining experience. For a special occasion, the staff comes out beating a drum & singing to celebrate your special day. Excellent food!
Took our 3 grandkids there. Pricey, but good.
I thought this place was great, could have used more of a variety of veggies and a little bit bigger portions. Other than that is was great.
It was a fun old school tepanyaki experience but the food was under seasoned and just OK. The portions were generous for the price. We wanted a celebratory outing and felt that we received that.
Food was some of the best I’ve had at a place like this. My steak and shrimp in particular were REALLY good. The chef was fantastic and his comedy was on point. I (and the kids) really enjoyed his liberal use of fire.
Drinks (I had a Long Island) were only so so. Wait time from when we arrived until getting drinks, appetizers, chef to our table, etc were terrible. They did apologize a number of times that the kitchen backed up, still annoying for a Saturday night.
Overall though, experience was very good and we will be back
We had not even finished our main course and they already had a bill on the table and started hovering .
Everything was very good! We almost didn’t come because of the poor reviews but we enjoyed our evening. The food was good, the service was nice (she admitted she was new but had a good attitude) and we had a good time. The chef was great and funny! We went with our two kids and had a great time. I recommend it!
The food is under seasoned. I also miss having ginger sauce like some of the other steakhouses. Over all it was ok.
This new place is a great addition to Redmond Town Center. Great teppan yaki, of course and also great sushi rolls.
Enjoyed the experience
I think is my third time and it seems to be getting better. All new restaurants take a little while to find the groove. I think this will be one of the nicer places to have a real meal. Redmond Town Center is changing and this is a great addition. Very attentive staff. Fabulous Sushi and my favorite Soft Shell Crab. I’m all in.
Way overpriced for quality and amount of food received. And fried rice wasn’t included. $5 charge per person for fried rice, otherwise given a bowl of plain white rice from the kitchen. Very disappointing for a brand new restaurant.
If the service and bar matched the chef's efforts this place would be worth recommending. There are rumors in town that the restaurant is waiting for the hotel across the parking lot to open before going all out. In the meantime, it feels like they haven't quite decided to open, yet they still take customers. The actual dinner service is what you would expect and the chef is even humorously clear that the ingredients come from Costco. But took half an hour to get a drink and given the inconsistent evening diners, one overworked waitress to serve it all. Spazzos was an institution. If this place is to replace it, we can only hope, it decides to become part of the community soon.
A great place for a fun and very tasty lunch. Definitely spend the extra $ for the fresh fried rice.
Ok, but noisy. Food is expensive
Chicken was over cooked and fried rice was just soy sauce/egg w rice. Shrimp very good. New York steak was ok but stomach was upset afterwards. Very nice service and staff however.
Very overpriced when compared to similar restaurants. Service was fine - place was empty.
Our waiter was excellent. Unfortunately, it seemed like there were not enough chefs. We waited about 45 minutes to an hour for our chef to arrive at the table.
Loved the pretty sangria with all of the fruit.
Very puny portions. When chef tossed zucchini at each person for fun, I put up my hand and said no. Chef continued pelting multiple pieces at me over and over and over. The lady across from us was last to get fried rice ... she received half as much as everyone else. My son was last to get veggies, and he too received half as much. His veg portion was about 2 bites, no joke. It was offensive. Menu lists salad. We received none. When I asked, they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. She said she would get manager then proceeded to avoid and ignore us for rest of meal. Never talked to manager. Only dipping sauce given was some kind of Thousand Island flavor. Hated it. Would have enjoyed a ginger sauce.
Vegetables were minimal. Mostly onion, very little zucchini and mushrooms. Cheap vegetables. Not a big portion of fried rice. Other Fuji restaurants are a lot better. Expensive for what you get.
