Fun and filling!
Had to wait a bit (maybe 20 minutes) despite having a reservation but otherwise this was a great dining experience! We ended up with great seats at the Hibachi bar, food was delicious, reasonable prices. Would definitely return.
Good food fast service.
Family friendly. Had a great time with my wife would Definitely go back
The sushi boat for 2 should really be for 3. My wife and I couldn't finish it.
Haven't done hibachi in a long time. Glad to have found a mini version of Benihana. Right across from Port Authority and we took the bus from NJ! My wife's birthday was a hit thanks to Fuji, their staff and Lion King!
Lee and Leo were very nice. Sushi was very good. Prices were just a bit to the high side. They were moderately busy and service was a tad backed up. Overall a good experience and I’d recommend!
Daughter’s 16th Birthday
Great food, great times
Excellent food at a wonderful price.
The food was good, at least the food that we received that we ordered. My friend ordered several items and not all of them came then when we said something they said it would be right over, it never came and they still tried to charge us for it.
Hibachi is a favorite of mine and I make a point to visit a Hibachi restaurant in every city I visit. While I have been wow'ed at some places, this was not one of them. The food was good, but nothing unique or special about it that would make me rush back.
Reservation was for hibachi - could not honor. Waitress dropped our food. Meals not served at the same time. Never again.
Food was pretty good but it felt pretty rushed. We made a reservation at the hibachi bar for 6:30pm and was out before 7:30pm. I didn’t feel like I could sit and chat with my boyfriend because there was a crowd of people waiting. Would recommend for a quick bite or maybe table service would be better.
Not an authentic Japanese restaurant. It is nice that you can have dinner in the theatre district without waiting in a long queue, but that's basically all the good things I can say about it.
We came here to celebrate signing a lease in the neighborhood. We’d been before on weekdays and had a grey experience. We showed up with a 7:45 booking. We walked in at 7:30 expecting to get a drink at the bar. We met a couple with a 7:30 reservation and ended up thankfully splitting a bottle of wine until we were finally seated at 8:45. The only thing was they opened the bottle and didn’t have any clean glasses for 35 minutes. They just left the bottle sitting in front of us while we repeatedly asked for glasses. Walking in we informed her we had a reservation but she wrote us down without bothering to look and seated a larger unreserved party before us because ‘it made more sense’ even though there were just as many pairs there waiting for a seat. The food was great and a great value but the service was terrible. The chefs were wonderful- quick at the bar bit that selected but the rest of the service staff was horrible.
A really good restaurant, with genuine Japanese food and a kind staff. You really get your money’s worth, especially with the Sashimi. Highly recommend.
Good food, great lunch hibachi value
The food was delicious. The restaurant needs security at the front door.
Service was horrible! Seating was decent but limited habachi options...
Made reservations with no expectations, and to our surprise the food was fantastic. Chef was great!!! Will definitely go back again.
They ignored our reservation, sat other guests before us. Waited for 50 minutes, and then needed to rush through dinner to make our broadway show.
Wouldn’t recommend at all
Neither the hostess nor the waiter were able to explain the sake choices on the menu - “don’t know this” they said. The waiter could not explain the contents of the bento box . Neither the hostess or the waiter had an acceptable command of English.
Comfortable, clean, great service! Very nice place & staff &food was excellent too!!
Took forever to get food even with a reservation. Waiting staff was very unaccommodating. Food was great but not worth it.
They sat us right away, the food was great and the service was very good .I did not get my points!
The food was good and the service was decent. We had a reservation and specially asked to reserve the hibachi grill, but when we got there we had to sit at a regular table. We live in Texas and always like to eat here when we are in town...
What a fun place with a round bar hibachi table. I had the steak and lobster tail and it was delicious. I also ordered a yellowtail roll so good. Will gladly return!!!
First. They didn’t even know if we had a reservation. They never looked just turned around to look at the tables and said when this table leaves you can have it. Pointing to a regular table. I told them I reserved a bar table for the hibachi. (Which was full of people still eating). She pointed to the table again and said this table while nodding. We were starving and I knew my son couldn’t wait. Once we were seated it was a while until someone took our order and then we got our appetizer and soup before our water. It was very slow/poor service. The food was quite good. The shrimp a tad over cooked as well as the steak but still tasted very good. I just couldn’t get over the poor service and the fact my son missed out of the hibachi show (which was the point of booking the restaurant. He was very disappointed when they started the grill up as we were leaving.
Waited over an hour- even with a reservation. Food mediocre.
Had a reservation, still had to wait a bit. That was okay though... they were nice. Everything was good—initiate dining experience, nice to try something rather than a chain restaurant.
I made a reservation for my 4 year anniversary with my boyfriend which they did not care about. There were about 4 other families that had reservations for the same time and we were told we had to WAIT!!! And not just for a short time, it would have been over an hour. They were very rude about it, the place did not look like a nice enough restaurant for me to even get worked up over so we went to Paul’s On Times Square (100x better so it all worked out). Even though I didn’t eat there, i was turned away the second I saw it.
We were going to see a play after and didn't want two entrees. They accommodated us by splitting the entree and we also ordered an appetizer. The filet mignon and chicken dish was tender and delicious. The wait staff was not very friendly.
The food was so good here!! The hibachi chef was very entertaining and created a relaxed and fun environment. Will definitely be dining here again.
Reservations were grossly overbooked. Most people waiting including us left to find somewhere else to seat.
Made a reservation for my birthday and when I got there with my boyfriend the host/hostess never came to the front to check us in. We ended up going somewhere else
Middle of the road hibachi with very little entertainment value
It was good
I had made a reservation to bar seating. However when we arrived they said there’s no bar seating places. I showed my reservation and told that fix it, that’s why we came there, I wanted to see the chef making the food. It took a while but they fixed it. Food was basic, wine cheap.
Atmosphere was really nice. It was quiet except for the expected hibachi noise which we loved. You sit very close to one another. We were moved from table to table 3 times because there was only 2 of us and they wanted to fit bigger groups. Food was good but it took a long time to even order because they kept moving us. The waitress had no idea what types of beer they had compared to what we were looking for. Drinks were expensive and when asking for a 2-go container for all the food I had left, they put all of it in one lumped container. That was a little irritating. I don’t mind my food touching but I don’t want my meat mixed with my noodles and vegetables and everything else. Seemed like they were just trying to save a buck.
The portion sizes for the Hibachi menu are very generous. The actual cooking didn’t last too long, but it was fun and good value for money.
You do get seated very close to others (thigh to thigh) but it wasn’t too busy when we went so we just moved up a seat.
