I loved it!
Poorly attentive server. Never even got asked for a refill: I had to flag someone for my bill, and the restaurant had only maybe 3 families who were finishing up when I arrived. It was a very slow time when I was there yet I was still unattended to. This was my first New York City restaurant experience. Not a good impression.
Wait staff couldn’t get order right at first and a homeless man solicited us for money inside the restaurant while our server stood at our table not trying to stop him
There were only three couples in the restaurant when we there and we were a
Great experience! Food was delicious!
Decent food, but lackluster service. Vaccine cards were also not checked, which was troubling.
My go to spot for hibachi when I’m in the city. But I was disappointed to find out they don’t have any sushi on the menu anymore. The hibachi was still great as was the service.
Food was awful - very dry and lacked taste
The place was really busy the Friday after thanksgiving. But the manager was awesome, polite and positive. Sent the bar of Customer service.
The food was excellent. The chef who prepared it in front of us was very entertaining engaging and awesome.
Will definitely return when I am back in NYC
Waited over 2 hours to be seated when we had a reservation. They sat a large party before us that had no reservation!
It was my daughters birthday
Don’t forget to say “hibachi!!!”
Great food and service…
We chose this restaurant due to proximity to the theater and their advertisement of sushi. There was no sushi to be had. The only cocktails available were saki drinks, wine and beer. One wait staff person took our order and then a few minutes later another one took it again. There was obvious confusion. There were only 6 other customers in the restaurant at that time so it’s hard to justify confusion. When the chef arrived with the food at our table/ cooking station (Japanese restaurant) he began to confirm our food selections. Despite 2 staff members taking the same orders, they were incorrect. At that point the chef, who was very rude and nasty, and the waiter started arguing about the mistakes in front of us. They began shouting at each other and that is when we left. Not a good restaurant to consider!!
The fried rice was burned and flavorless
The food was good. You should definitely check out the location. It is off the beaten path from Time Square. This is not the place if you are looking for ambiance. However, the food was tasty and service was great.
The food was good … but I made the reservation for sushi, as it’s on their menu!! We got there and after it took some time to be greeted, I was told they don’t have sushi. This was my daughters 13th birthday dinner and I had theater tickets so I couldn’t go find a sushi place. We had no choice but to get hibachi
They really should update their menu. It’s deceiving.
Not the best service. Couldn’t really understand what I meant when checking out. Wouldn’t go back.
Great experience and the waitress were very accommodative. Compliments to the chef!
Went on a date night with my boyfriend and it was a very nice experience good food , great sake and the vibes were nice would recommend 10/10
Small place but nice
Restaurant wasn’t open! Spent $26 Uber to get there and OT was closed!!!!
Experiences here are typically awesome. This last time, I felt rushed to sit and eat, even while being early for my reservations.
That’s all, everything else went great!
Waitress kept asking me if I knew it wasn’t any free refills and only asked me out of my table. I want the only one who received multiple drinks.
Food was great, very affordable and the chef was classy and funny.
I’ve been here with my fiancé 2 times already and I love it
I wish I did not have to review the food because we did not eat there. So, please, ignore the food review. My only complain is about the information displayed on the website. The website needs to be updated. There is a huge sushi menu, but you just find out that they are not offering sushi when you get there. My friends and I were looking for sushi, so we decided to eat somewhere else.
We did not get to fulfill our reservation because we specifically booked Hibachi Bar seating on OpenTable yet when we arrived at the restaurant they said that the Hibachi Bar closes at 9.. yet we were still able to reserve this type of table on OpenTable for a 930 reservation. Complete waste of time.
Great experience! Restaurant was empty no sushi due to covid
My son and I went there for date night and we absolutely enjoyed ourselves. The food was absolutely delicious
We made a reservation for 2 for 8:30pm and because there was a large party that was just sitting there and not being told to move along, we didn’t even get seated until 9:30!!
The food was really good, but the service was unacceptable.
Food was delicious, but service was very confused and overwhelmed.
Food was delicious and service was good - recommend
Fun place for celebs birthday! Food and set were great ! Would definitely come back !
We were the only guests in the restaurant most likely due to the Coronavirus. Lovely service. Food was pleasant, not outstanding. Good place to go with kids and teens before a show.
The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a variety of things from the menu (sushi, shumai, and hibachi shrimp) and everything was excellent. Even though it was a Friday night and the restaurant was pretty packed our food came out extremely quickly. The restaurant was very loud but that is to be expected. Would definitely recommend checking this place out.
We ear here every few weeks and the food is always great and we have a good time and the prices are very reasonable

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. My boyfriend and I had a reservation through OpenTable for Valentine's Day for 8:30pm. We didn't get seated until 10pm because they apparently only take reservations over the phone and they were double-booked. We waited for two hours and they once we sat down, it took them 20 minutes to bring us water. The hibachi chef had already cooked our food before we received water. This restaurant needs to be REMOVED from this app. They do not take reservations through OpenTable or even look at reservation names. I truly want my money back.
By far best hibachi ever. Food was delicious. Our cheeks hurt from laughing so much. Our chef was amazing.
