Had a great time! The chef was funny and engaging. The food was excellent. Even my extremely picky 13 year old loved it. We’ll definitely go back next time we’re in town.
really bad experience
Very clean and the people was freaking awesome.
Food was good and service was relatively fast and attentive. As written in other reviews, there was a sense of being rushed a little toward the end. Not a huge problem, though. There was plenty of time to eat and it's a little tight in there with only two hibachi grills--one designed as you might expect and the other a elongated grill that seats approx 15-16. Probably 2 parties served at the same time, max.
Fresh food , well prepared, good Service , fair prices.
We were all squished into a hibachi table. Everyone was uncomfortable. The chef was rude. He didn’t smile, he didn’t offer saki, he rushed us to eat. Cooked protein first and left vegetables for last. No tricks and fun. I specified it was our anniversary hoping it would lead to an entertaining meal but did not. The chef next to us was great and everyone was staring down at his group watching tricks.
Food was bland. Sushi was mushy. Just not good.
Very tasty, fast service.
This restaurant was great! The food was fantastic and the service was great! I was able to make a reservation the same day for dinner or a Friday night which was awesome! The service was quick and the staff was very helpful and polite. The food was absolutely amazing, we ordered 4 different sushi rolls and chicken fried rice and the food was the perfect amount for two people. Once of the best meals I had on my trip!
Great food ! Great service ! Well done
Great service and the staff was amazing! The food was excellent my wife and I loved this place. It’s a must if you are visiting the area.
We’re rushed in to sit down at a Hibachi table that the show was already started. Food portions were small. It seemed like cook was counting out exact number of pieces to give each person. Food was over-cooked.
they didn’t care of our open table reservation
Way too salty, trying too hard to make jokes and not as many choices
The event started off with the host not acknowledging my Open Table reservation. We were trying to explain that we were early for it. He seated us right away but did not initially credit us with showing for the reservation. There was a HUGE language barrier with the host and two other employees I attempted to speak with. This was offset by a the chef we had at the hibachi who was amazing. After he was finished, we observed another chef that was very boring. So we know we got lucky with our guy. Very entertaining!
Sushi was excellent. Food came out very quickly too! Servers very friendly and helpful. With hibachi also in a small space, it was a little loud, but overall a great meal and experience. Definitely recommend!
The food and service is always great and this is a fun place to go
Great service. Good was good. The tepanyaki chef was very funny and energetic. The Mio sparkling sake was delicious too.
Fun experience! The food was very taste and the chef was very funny and interactive. I thought the portions were of great size and I loved that the food wasn’t over salted. Although it looks a little sketchy on the outside, the inside of the restaurant was very clean. Definitely plan on coming back!
Reasonably priced and well staffed Hibachi restaurant right off of times square. If your nearby and craving Hibachi don't miss it.
It was alright I’ve been to better the hibachi chefs were funny but the service was slow
Food delicious. Hibachi guy awesome. Service, could improve. The waitress was a bit pushy and impatient, overall great
Really great experience! No wait time and funny chef!
Found this place on yelp, we were on the fence after reading mixed reviews but we’re glad we gave it a chance. Food was delicious, service was quick and friendly, prices are typical for the style of food. The fried rice is so good. Don’t skip this place.
Pre show dinner. Excellent sushi
It was a great and memorable time spent here. The chef was very interactive and I did not expect to be involved because this was my first hibachi experience. I will be coming back with a bigger group in the future and brave more sake shots.
Bar seating wasnt available as reserved but owner offer a free app and 25 minute wait which worked out. Waitress never brought out one of the ordered apps, otherwise food was good and nice value. Chicken could use more seasoning.
We had this amazing chef at our hibachi table. He was funny and engaged all of us. His cooking was great as well.
We loved the food and the employees and had dinner there twice, once for the Hibachi and the second time for Sushi. Both were excellent
This is a fun place to go with very good food
Food was very good. We have eaten the sushi and sashimi boat!
Service was horrible they kept forgetting to bring us our drinks and food was not good
Albert the Manager was attentive and are hibachi chef was wonderful
I have been to a lot of hibachis and this one is average. Nothing stands out to me here, except the absolute tenderness of the filet. It was a little loud in the restaurant given that it wasn’t busy. The chef was entertaining.
The choice and quality of food was excellent and the service was great
Great service, ate at the hibachi bar enjoyed the show.
Food was excellent.
Very fresh sushi; good place to meet since across Port Authority. However, because of the location and the hibachi novelty, it is like an attraction and it gets very loud with patrons applauding or shouting every time the hibachi flames get high.
Tasty food. Hibachi is always a fun date night. Huge sake list and sake drink menu.
Service needs some work. Food was good for a reasonable cost especially in NY. Space in the restaurant is a premium.
GREAT FOOD... GREAT FUN...
STAFF AND MANAGEMENT WERE TOP NOTCH
