   Our reservation made through OpenTable was not honored. We were told “sorry but we have a big group here tonight.“ and although it’s not mentioned on the OpenTable booking site, they claim they don’t accept reservations after 4:30. Ours was made probably between 4:45 and five. We’ve never heard of such a restriction anywhere else. There either is availability or there isn’t. So we obviously won’t be back again oh, and by the way, you can’t even get to the restaurant without going through a security check where you must leave an ID. Can you imagine having to leave an ID at any other restaurant you’ve ever been to?

   INCREDIBLE! The food and service were on point and the server was able to accommodate modification to the salad we wanted to add shrimp to! Book if youre staying at Mahekal!! TRULY MAGICAL PLACE!!

   Hermoso lugar a la orilla de la playa, donde la comida armoniza con el lugar. Estuvimos bien atendidos desde el momento en que el mesero se hizo cargo. Lo que opacó lo que pudo ser una experiencia grandiosa, fue que para entrar tienes que buscar la entrada. Nadie en las puertas te da informes. Ya que ingresamos, solicitan una identificación, la cual no devuelven, y que hasta el momento seguimos peleando que nos la regresen porque a la salida no pasamos por la recepción y la olvidamos. Nadie contesta un correo, un teléfono. Al llegar al restaurante, tambien sin indicaciones para acceder a el, tanto la hostess como el capitan te tratan con prepotencia. Qué lástima.

   Espantoso, hice una reservación a las 9:15 pm y resultó que el restaurante lo cierran a las 10:00 pm. El acceso al lobby, no había nadie que te informara nada. Al llegar a la recepción, les dije que tenia una reservación y no fueron para decirme que el resultante ya lo iban a cerrar, tuve que ir hasta el para que saliera una hostess que no tenía ni idea de que era “open table” al final un desastre

   A must stop for us every time we are in Playa Del Carmen. The grounds are so lush and beautiful. The food and service are always good. Worth the visit.

   Wonderful food! Appetizers were outstanding and all food! We had dessert on our last night and it did not disappoint! Not only wonderful food but even better servers. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals here!

    Tenía la reserva a las 17h. Sin embargo, al llegar me informaron que ya no había servicio de comida. Solicitaron volver a las 19h para verificar disponibilidad de cupos.
