Fuego at The Clarendon
Live music nightly. Sit back, have a cocktail, enjoy the live music and, of course, the food!!
Great food , nice atmosphere. Service was just what you would want and expect.
Great restaurant. Liked the new location and service and food was great.
Flavorful and filling! Server was pleasant and suggestive! We’ll be back!
Amazing service and food. It is definitely worth checking out.
I was staying in Midtown Phoenix and was looking for somewhere to eat. This place looked interesting. The food was great, the service was great. This is more than just a Latin restaurant. You can get standard Latin food but you can also get an upscale version of it too.
There were only four tables in use at the time so we were spread apart but if it was busy then I would feel that the tables are too close together.
Overall, I would recommend this place.
Nice meal, nice music, enjoyed the experience. If the hotel or restaurant are crowded, parking may be an issue.
The food beyond excellent! We were blown away but every flavor and did not have one average tasting dish. Everything from the appetizers to the dessserts shined. We are looking forward to coming back so we can taste everything on the menu. The only downgrade, which had nothing to do with the restaurant or staff at all, was that we picked up the second hand smoke from the smokers outside of the Clarendon Hotel since the outdoor seating sits right at the entrance of the main door. Other than that, this was the most fantastic and flavorful experience our group found and we've been taking a tour around all of Phoenix and the surrounding areas trying new restaurants! Nothing and I mean nothing even compares to Fuego! It's at the pinnacle of our list!
Great location, food, service and atmosphere. I sat outside and love the patio!
Great location, friendly service, delicious food (paella was awesome), good music.
Lovely venue, excellent happy hour, delicious food, and friendly service.
Loved the old location but, the new one is very nice too - will definitely be back and try to make it for Happy Hour and Music.
Great new location, same great restaurant. We love this place. The corn bread is the best and the red sangria is special. We bring all our out of town guests here or, at least, we used to when we had out of town guests.
Green Chile pork and eggs were terrific! Glad one of our favorites is back open!
Love the food and the new location at Clarendon hotel only enhances the experience - thank you Jeff for your attention and kindness and kudos to your kitchen and wait staff
I've been going to Fuego for the better part of a decade, and super excited to finally see the new location. Jeff and the crew never disappoint - I was there with my friend from Michigan, and told her she was going to taste the best mojitos and cornbread in Phoenix, and they were exactly what made our Saturday night great! - Thank you for always providing incredible food and a delightful atmosphere!
I grabbed a table for myself and dived into the delicious food. I would definitely recommend eating outside on the patio.
Come hungry or plan to share! Portions are very big.
Great to have Fuego in the neighborhood. We frequented the restaurant at their former location and love the decor and the outside patio in the new spot. We hope that they are very successful.
We went during Restaurant Week and sat outside on the lovely patio. The food was delicious and generous portions! Service was great as well. We will definitely go back!
We ate here for restaurant week bc we love to share. Everything was delicious and very unique flavors. We will be back. So yummy!
The Arroz con Gandules is my absolute favorite it keeps me coming back!
The inside is much larger than the old space. It’s very nice. I do
the outdoor space from the old location. This outdoor space is not as nice.
Great food, great portions, great location. Friendly staff and music was wonderful. Will always come back.
We went there because we wanted to try someplace new to us and it was on the restaurant week listing
Went for early brunch
Drinks were delicious - the breakfast burger was fantastic.
Really loved their cold brew based cocktails.
On Saturday, September 19th, I had the pleasure of experiencing Fuego at the Clarendon. Fuego Bistro has been a favorite restaurant for my family for years. We loved everything about it and consider the Fuego team like family. After a 4+ month hiatus from all my favorite foods, I was excited to try out the new Fuego! It did not disappoint. It felt like old home week! We had the perfect Trifecta of celebrating some family birthdays, taking advantage of the Restaurant Week menu, and enjoying the new ambiance and vibe. The food was excellent. Our favorite servers were present. The expanded music on the patio and inside were an added bonus. We will be back very soon!
It's questionable their tables are adhering to the CDC's 6' physical distancing guidelines, and I saw many patrons leaving their tables without face masks.
We always enjoyed the food and ambience at the old Fuego on Palo Verde, but the new one is even better. The Chili Corn Bread is to die for, the Seafood Chili Relleno is outstanding, and on and on. In short, the menu is so good, its hard to choose.
The Patio is nice and not to hot with the misters. We loved the new look of the place, and enjoyed the music. They have a Piano in the bar, and a local band on the Patio.
Great restaurant and atmosphere been to the previous location which was also great but this new location is even better and the food hasn’t changed one bit I recommend this place to anyone looking for Great food with a Latin flair
Fuego food is unique and has wonderful flavors. We went for restaurant week and the quantities were huge! The Pernil Nachos were a table favorite. My husband loved the shrimp appetizer, so much that he wouldn’t share 😀. My mother in law had the veggie enchiladas and raved about them being the best she had ever eaten. My husband had the Mahi Mahi and it was cooked perfectly. I had the short rib enchiladas and will be going back for those soon! There was excellent entertainment on the patio! The new location still brings the flavors, ambience and great times that brought us back to the old location for years. Make sure you order the special Spicy Margarita!
The service and food were great - Prices are a bit on the high side, but effort to make our time enjoyable was well played. Food was well plated and hot when served. Decorations had the right vibe and made you feel comfortable.
Ive been coming to Fuego since it opened over a decade ago, and im happy to know that a location change didnt affect the food quality or service!!
We had a very good meal at Fuego. We tried the appetizer sampler which everything on it was tasty. We also had the seafood chili relleno. Would definitely order both again. Service was friendly and efficient.
Considering this restaurant is in such a chic hotel downtown, I was expecting a much better presentation. The bloody "maria" wasn't great at all. I'm pretty sure every order on the table that came with cheese, arrived with unmelted cheese like the kitchen was in a hurry or an inexperienced "chef" was in the kitchen. Sadly, i don't think I would go back. If the Server wasn't so sweet, I probably would have left after my first sip of the poorly made bloody mary.
I had a great time here for my birthday, although the service was a little slow. I really enjoyed my meal and had a great time
So happy to see them re-open up at their new location! And all of the same friendly faces were there again. Food was awesome, as usual!
Food is delicious and love the new place at The Clarendon.
We’ve been fans of Fuego since they first opened. Love the new location which spruces up a rather dumpy hotel. Food and staff are as awesome as they’ve always been.
The piano was a bit too loud but enjoyable. Food was incredible
It was their first brunch day at the new location and had several items missing.
Our server was delightful and keep apologizing for the missing food/wine items.
We will for sure come back again as the food was excellent!
