Although the menu is derived from traditional recipes Fucina represents a new wave of Italian cooking in London, elevating simple ingredients to umami-rich creations.
Fucina serves handmade pasta, rolled just before service made from stone ground, wholemeal flour that’s naturally fermented.

Somehow the order made by one of the guests was totally forgotten. No attempt was made to make up for the underwhelming service by eg throwing in some free coffees or anything at all. Food was actually quite good.
Delicious food. Great Service. Great location. Will go again.
Me and my partner had a wonderful night, the food was delicious, the ambience was spot on and service was great. Would definitely reccomend
Excellent food and service! Would recommend!
I loved this restaurant, the build, style, presentation, quality of food and atmosphere , as an occasional, special it’s perfect.
Food was delicious, however was disappointed with the service. The top 3 wines on the list were out of stock, our coffees were cold and had to be sent back. We therefore reduced the optional service charge and the waiter chased after us and questioned us on the street to get a justification. On top of this they questioned our Scottish backnotes, which is quite frankly ridiculous.
The food and general atmosphere at Fucina were really good. The service was hit and miss, it took a long time for staff to take our order a the start and at dessert and, even though there were a lot of staff on, it was difficult to catch their eye when we wanted something. Our main was delivered to the table whilst we were still eating starters. They took it away (after we asked them to) but when they brought the mains later it was clearly the same food that had been sitting under the heat lamps. The staff were very apologetic and gave us a discount however this is too nice quality a restaurant to be making those kinds of mistakes. Overall the food was good but the service needs to be improved.
Slow service in the beginning.
The food portions were on the small side.
The tiramisu was to die for!
Had a lovely Birthday meal with my husband and son here for lunch. Food was absolutely delicious. Ambience was lovely. Wait staff were attentive and very helpful.
Modern restaurant. Amazing decor. Attentative staff. Large restaurant. Quiet when we went but can imagine it is lovely on Fridays and weekend
They made an error on order but rectified quickly.
Good quality food.
Fantastic experience, great food and service.
Rude waiter. Overall pathetic service and average food with a very high price tag.
I've been to this restaurant a few times, and I now have decided that it's too expensive for what it is on Sunday night we had two main courses, some bread, some olives three vegetable side dishes, one glass of wine. We shared a desert and sparkling water, and the bill came to £100. I think that's a lot of money considering we only really had one course each. The the decor is very nice, it's comfortable , but the music is always too loud and I have to ask them to turn it down. Sometimes they do it without problem, other times it's just an issue that they seem to have a problem with. The food is delicious, but in summary, too expensive for what it is
Good food and surroundings. Staff a little bit in your face at times. Possibly slightly overpriced.
Great food, ambience, atmosphere and the staff is very warm and friendly! I will be coming back for sure!
Excellent food excellent service including recommendations on menu choices. A thoroughly enjoyable dining experience.
We enjoyed our time at Fucina! The food was excellent!
Their greatest mistake is asking for a credit card up front for booking.
I had to authorise my credit card and was told I have max 2 hours at my table even though almost all the tables around me remained empty for the entire evening.
I think it’s time to accept you’re not all that Fucina!
My third trip to Fucina and the last. Second evening in a row with poor service and terrible food. Last time we had to send back the stuffed aubergine as they were so salty it was inedible. Yet again several items from the menu were not available. The sea bass was completely overlooked and dried out. Such a shame to ruin what should be a simple tasty dish. Portion sizes have become progressively smaller whilst prices have progressively risen. Service is average - one of our desserts was missed. Waitress was not particularly attentive and seemed to be having a full on argument with several of her colleagues in open site. Wines are overpriced. Food prices are shocking. £198 for a meal for 4 which frankly was worth less than half that. This place is all about the location, the quality of the food has dropped immensely since they opened. I will not be returning. They don’t seem bothered about the drop in standards at all. There are far far better and cheaper Italian restaurants nearby. Honestly please don’t waste your money.
Amazing! And the manager was very attentive! Looking forward to coming back.
This is the 2nd time I've eaten here. It's a fun place with excellent food. Our waiter was clearly a "newbie" and needed more training but on the whole service was good. My only real criticism is the "music" or to be more accurate thumping background noise. Why do you put it on?? No one is listening to it, it is just irritating and it makes everyone talk louder. Get rid of it PLEASE - it's totally UNNECESSARY. There's enough atmosphere in the restaurant without it. J. Barton
Great place. Loved the food and the service was perfect. I would recommend this place for business lunches as it's quiet and reasonably fast service.
Would be good to have a bit more of an atmosphere but that only comes with more bookings!
We wanted a stylish Italian restaurant to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday and this fitted the bill perfectly. The service was excellent; really attentive but not overwhelming and they made a fuss of our daughter.
Although the portions were quite small, we had plenty to eat and would definitely recommend it.
The service from doorman to waiter was amongst the best ever, helping create the right ambience.
The table service was attentive yet knew when to disappear...:-)
Food was ok and great in parts
Great service, slightly better than average food, ok atmosphere considering the place is massive and largely empty.
Had a great experience here😉 would really love to go back !!
Very good service and food was magnificent ❤️👍🏼
Service was good and friendly - food was good but came looking a bit ‘baked’ and not fresh looking - great decor and very friendly staff - good value
The best for the new year in London
A delight. Wonderful service, delicious food, good variety in the menu, unpretentious and beautifully decorated. A pearl.
In a very nice location, it is a shame the food was over salted, over priced for extremely small portions.
Good menu in a comfortable setting with reasonable prices for central London. What more do you want from a restaurant.
The food was great - walnut ravioli was really very good.
The wine list is a bit pricy and the food is perhaps a bit on the expensive end of the spectrum. But good space in a new building and welcome addition to the neighbourhood.
Menu was ok. Not much to choose from! But food was amazing and the staff were so lovely. The restaurant itself is also lovely, it was quiet though as a Tuesday evening. Would definitely return!
I never really complain about restaurants unless it’s really bad and this was HORRIBLE. Sat us 15 mins after our reservation time which normally is not a big deal but then it took 10 mins and me going to the check in desk to get menus. After an hour our first round of drinks came and we were still missing one. It took us asking 3 more times to get the last drink. Another hour goes by and our foods comes half missing. My pasta which I said no meat and told them specifically was a vegetarian had meat on it. 15 mins later they brought a new pasta and it was watery and terrible.
I love this place as its my local, the food is fantastic, even when its not quite what you ordered. The service has become very slow and the staff are not trained well. The manager seems on it but twice in the last 10 days I have been and we have had to wait a long time to get drinks, order, and the main course takes while..... we had to ask is it coming on both visits. I hope they get this situation fixed as I love the venue and the food. Staff really do make or break a restaurant!
An artistic atmosphere which doesn’t intrude on your conversation. It was just what I was looking for. The food was perfect in terms of texture and flavour.
The mushroom risotto was too salty
The food was nice enough but came very slowly, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Value for money is poor, it's very expensive for what it is really some fairly good Italian cooking with unnecessarily fancy service.
Nice place .. Great food .. friendly staff.
Great dining experience. Would have scored higher but for the music. Why do you feel it necessary to have background noise. It serves no purpose whatsoever and is irritating. The ambience of diners chatting id enough to give restaurant atmosphere. TURN IT OFF!
