I booked a table for Valentines night and received numerous reminders, when we arrived at the restaurant we found it was closed for refurbishment!!! Very poor communication not to be told the booking couldn’t be honoured!!! Very disappointed and would use again.

I booked a table at this restaurant for an early Valentine’s Day meal, we turned up at the restaurant to find that it was closed for refurbishment. We’d had the table booked for over a month and nobody could be bothered to contact us to tell us that it would be closed and advise us to make other arrangements!! We we’re left having to go home and order in instead!! Absolutely shocking customer service, i’d have thought a chain like FSK would have to decency to notify customers when the restaurant would be closed.

We came here one Sunday and found the menu very limited in choice. A few options we ask for on the drinks menu they no longer do but was still in the menu. Starters was not very good however the main course was quite nice therefore does compensate for the bad starter. Service was nice but it was just one waitress on her own.

The service staff were genuinely friendly and very attentive. My steak was beautifully cooked and the sides were very tasty and a bit different.

Lovely food and nice relaxed atmosphere. Only let down was that it was a Friday night and there was no live music despite a piano and keyboard being set up. We would have stayed longer if there had been but moved on to another bar with music instead.

Fantastic evening meal in a great setting. There are a couple of adjustments to the service which would make the experience even better but nothing major. Loved the food and atmosphere.

Brilliant prawn starter in chilli sauce, really tasty and large crunchy prawns - best starter tasted for a long time. Steaks were great, medium rare and well done choices. Wine was reasonably priced and a good selection. The tables are well spaced so you don’t have to join in with someone else’s meal and the service was good. Overall a great meal and would recommend.
