Frontier's Executive Chef Brian Jupiter has created mouthwatering dishes celebrating American contemporary cuisine, blending game and other seasonal ingredients into classic and approachable fare.
The seasonal dinner menu includes small plates, vegetables, sandwiches and entrees designed to share. Frontier’s menu also features 8-10 varieties of oysters to order a la carte with dinner, or to enjoy with a bottle of beer at the bar. Over the weekend, patrons may indulge in brunch offerings including a wide selection of Frontier signature dishes alongside traditional brunch items.

Complimenting Frontier's savory menu items are unique wines by the glass & bottle, specialty craft cocktails including creative punches and frozen cocktails along with an array of draft, canned and bottled beer.

    The flowers were terrible. You guys could have did a better job when it came to the flowers presentation and you guys could’ve came up with a better pastry, then bought pastry from out.

    The game meats were so tough it was almost impossible chew them. The music was so loud everyone had to shout to try to hear each other. Server brought a dish that my group did not order, and then forgot to bring the correct dish and had to be reminded that we still had not received one dish after we had finished eating and were in a rush to get to an event. I will definitely never give Frontier a second chance.

    Well it was amazing, I have been to a lot of restaurants in Chicago and this was at the top of my list . If you’re a meat eater this is your kinda place . It has a very unique menu I had a pork dish that was out of this world. I have lots of out of town guest and this is a must . Price is very good and service personnel and friendly our server was Giany the best . It’s a causal place with a good atmosphere eat in the room with the fireplace . It’s a don’t miss if your a foodie

    The smoke session with Chef Jupiter and guest Chef Hunter was amazing. The food and drink pairings were great. It was a lot of food and left full from the 4 courses. My favorites dishes was the Butter cake by Chef Jupiter and the lamb neck by Chef Hunter

    So disappointed! Was not worth the price we paid. The smoke session came out to be $480 for 4 people, 2 couples. Why did we have to share the plates? The portion was for one person and we had to split it. That was ridiculous! The food was delicious though! But I wish I had my own plate to enjoy. Why is the price so high if we’re sharing a salad and entrees? The dessert was a in a small cup so they at least gave one each. The drinks luckily wasn’t a sip and pass lol, they were good. Just didn’t think it was worth it. Definitely not $480 worth

    Absolutely loved the vibe. The chefs were energetic, engaging, and personable. The food and drinks were a welcoming change to my traditional American palate. I can’t wait to come back for another smoke session experience.

    Friendly and attentive staff and tasty wild game at Frontier. On a somewhat early Thursday evening we expected more patrons, but it meant plenty of attention from the staff. We loved the Wild Boar and especially the smoked pineapple giardiniera along with it. The Pantera Noire cocktail was dark black and complex... a little sweet for my palette but the salt on the rim helped balance it off.

    Frontier was absolutely AMAZING!!! This restaurant has been on our list of restaurants to try and we were not disappointed! The drinks were great, food was amazing, the ambiance was beautiful and the service was great! We will definitely be back!

    My first time there with friends to celebrate a birthday. The food was above average....so savory. I will definitely be back. Our server Dewayne was very transactional. He was not friendly at all. Other than that fantastic.

    We went to Frontier to celebrate a birthday and enjoy the festivities of Chicago’s Saint Patrick’s day. You would never have guessed how busy they were for the staff never skipped a beat. We received amazing treatment and the music .. baby.. the music was on point. Definitely returning for more dinning events. Keep shining-Frontier.

    I loved the food, service, and design of this restaurant. The hunter’s Patty melt, burnt ends macaroni and cheese, and smoked carrot salad were all fantastic. Our server was attentive and our food came out quickly. We dined pretty early on a rainy Friday evening, so I can’t speak to the level of service when it’s busy. But I definitely plan to come back here.

    The server was great! She made sure to check in and make sure we were doing well. It was really crowded so I appreciate that kind of service during a busy crowd. We had 2 appetizers. The oxtail empanas were amazing, but the grilled oysters were burnt and dry. We didn't even try to eat them. We sent them back and asked for another batch. The second batch was not better( very disappointing). The drinks are overpriced but good. The waygu jerk ribs are tender and spicy, a good serving for$36 bucks( does not come with any sides) I got the smoked hog meal and it was a decent amount for the price $29. A good value since it came with Mac and cheese and coco bread ( technically not a side), but the plantain was a good touch! I reserved for a high top table but was seated at a smaller table. It worked out because the server for that section was awesome! Overall, it was an ok experience, I would probably return for happy hour specials or pop-up events such as the one I was at. I wouldn't pick it or recommend it as a place to go otherwise.

    The Pop-up wasn't as festive as exactly we thought based on the flyer and we agreed that the hog plate needed more jerk flavor, but overall we enjoyed everything we ordered! Empandas, Oxtail rice, Jerk Wagyu ribs, crab cakes, chicken sandwich, chargrilled oysters and the mac n cheese w/burnt ends. The cocktails were on point as well! We look forward to returning!

    Celebrated my 35th birthday with my family and it was the perfect Sunday brunch. My family is full of particular eaters and everyone found something they enjoyed on the menu. Great service, beautiful space. Frontier will always be a favorite ❤️

    You all have done it again! I had the smokey wings, the sweet bacon cornmeal pancakes, and mac & cheese. To the powers above, everything was fantastic. The wings were flavorful and cooked to perfection. The pancakes were dream-worthy, and the bacon on top was sexy, okay. The mac & cheese was amazing, too. Thank you to Chef Jup, his staff, and my waitress, Noel. She was chaotic, delightful, and fun. Everything I needed to put a smile on my face. Enjoy this beautiful day, and I'll see you all again

    As a regular, I am consistently blown away by how great the service and food is. Truly an establishment that goes the extra mile. I had the rib platter and one of the pieces was a little too charred. I notified my server and the chef took it upon himself to make another order for me to go.

    I went for my birthday on Valentine's Day, I stated that during my reservation. Staff didn't acknowledge that in the end. I ordered the Wagu beef ribs, it had so lunch liquid smoke poured on it, that it choked me for a while. I also ordered the Branzino bass fish, they claimed it was 98% deboned, which was not true. So I couldn't allow my child to eat it. We didn't want to finish the meal, so me and my family just paid and left. I won't be recommending this restaurant to anyone.

    NEVER a dull moment , off meal or bad service! This was Super Bowl Sunday & the food was on point. My go to as well for SAINTS SUNDAY ..The old fashioned with Uncle Nearest is always on point 🖤⚜️
