Irina our waitress was very well trained which is something I look for in a restaurant. She knew the menu, made recommendations when asked and was very attentive to our needs. The five dollar margaritas were probably the best I've ever had-tart not sour. We loved the guacamole with bacon. My husband and our friend had the carne asada which is beef that has been marinated for 48 hours-they loved it. My husband has an aversion to fat and he said-no fat-no gristle. Our friend's wife and I had the enchiladas mole which was delicious and the leftovers tasted great the next morning for breakfast. The restaurant is bright, well decorated and very clean. It was so nice to be able to eat at a Frontera restaurant w/o having to pay 40.00 to park in downtown Chicago.

Food was exceptional. Had a salad with shrimp added. Palate pleasing through every bite and really fresh greens. The salad was perfectly dressed and a great flavor, could make a non veggie lover happy
The garlicky sauteed shrimp was tender a delightful. The service was impeccable.

We sat outdoors away from speakers by lagoon which was serene. Indoors is loud.

Really enjoyed our food here on Saturday night (9/15/18), and the server and chef were accommodating; we have a party with allergies (shellfish, soy, sesame and berries). It was a good experience and we will visit again. Most of our party had the enchiladas,we shared nachos, and I had a salad with extra avocado. Margaritas all around, and I especially enjoyed my mango rita with the spicy salted rim.
The only negative was the hostess stand confusion (not just for us, but for others as well). One young woman in particular didn't seem to have it together...possibly a newbie? As mentioned though, our server and chef were great! Wish I could recall our server's name! (We sat across from the kitchen, next to the bar at a table that shared a bench with others, but had 2 chairs as well, and we ate at about 9:30pm...although arrived an hour earlier, and did have 8:45 reservations made through Open Table.)

It’s located in Disney Springs....So expect tourist prices and to “spring” for you meal. All selections are very good, but pricey. This is not your regular Mexican restaurant - It’s a Chef Rick Bayless restaurant at a Disney property. $$. Specialty drink$ are expen$ive - $ip responsibly! Recommend reservations or a long wait during prime dining hours. Our server was very accomodating and friendly.

We have been here 3 times. The first was really excellent and the second was really good. This last time the selection was far less, we asked about specials and we were told “we don’t have any specials”. My wife’s food was cold and my portions were small. The margarita were outstanding and always have been. But this place has gone way downhill in a very short period of time. It’s very sad because we had really enjoyed it.

Frontera is similar to any Walt Disney World dining experience: Really expensive for mediocre food, and anywhere outside the Orlando area, a place like this would close down in a couple months. I expected more from a Rick Bayless restaraunt, but the food was terribly unbalanced. Food was so heavily salted I'm surprised Frontera doesn't charge for the added high blood pressure. Skip this place all together, it's as authentic as a Taco Bell.

Best Mexican restaurant in Central Florida. The guacamole is amazing with yummy chips. The chicken flautas are the best - not too crisp with delicious chicken and gorgeous presentation. The carnitas were fabulous.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times before and always loved it. Whenever we are in Orlando we look forward to eating a good meal here. My husband ordered chicken tacos as he has many times before and the chicken was all dark meat which he doesn't like so he left his whole meal. Previously the chicken tacos were made with white meat. We asked our waiter and he said they changed the menu about a month ago. I am sad to say it wasn't for the better and we will not be returning.

The margaritas were delicious. The carnitas and carne asado tacos were outstanding! Only disappointment was dessert - the paloma tart was bland, and the pastry crust was so hard we could barely cut it. I haven't subtracted a star because the coffee was superior, the service was OUTSTANDING, and because we love Rick Bayless. Just, please fix that tart or take it off the menu, as it was a low point in an otherwise perfect dinner.

Frontera Cocina never disappoints -- we have been dining here since it opened. The food is consistently great! The servers are very attentive and efficient. We visit with our sons who require a special menu and the chef is very amenable to our sons' needs. Whether you are dining as a couple or celebrating with a large group, this restaurant is perfect. Frontera Cocina has become our favorite restaurant at Disney Springs.

The restaurant interior reminded us of a cafeteria or diner but the food and service was outstanding. I had the carnitas and my husband had the swordfish. Both were excellent. We also had cocktails— vodka cranberry for my husband and Frontera Margarita for me. The margarita was refreshingly tart but I could not taste the tequila at all.
