We really enjoyed our dinner at Frontera. The food was absolutely delicious, the sangria out of this world, and the server was knowledgeable.

If you haven't been to Rick's restaurants in Chicago, this is must go to. The food and drinks are wonderful. The decor and service are lacking in this venue.

One of my favorite places to eat in Disney springs. The tequila flights are amazing and the staff is always very helpful

I've been here before and the food is always pretty good but not extraordinary. Prices are a bit high but not out of line with other Disney area restaurants.
Would probably go elsewhere next time I'm in town.

Wonderful across the board! Delicious queso fundido and Carne asada; cauliflower gratinado was super flavorful, as was coctal tropical.

Frontera Cocina did not disappoint, as usual. We are from Chicago and thus very familiar with Chef Rick Bayless cuisine. The food at Frontera Cocina is very authentic Mexican food and the margaritas are terrific. I find the prices a bit steep but so is every other good restaurant in Disney Springs. All in all it was a wonderful meal with our daughter and husband. Can't wait to go back.

All my friends always kinda groan when I say we're getting Mexican at Disney Springs because we're used to a different kind of Mexican American fare. I did the same first time I was invited. These flavors will knock your socks off. Can't get something like this anywhere else. It's a lot pricier than I'm comfortable with, but it's not like I can find this quality anywhere else.

Food was good. Service was excellent, but the prices are crazy high for what is basically guacamole. Chips and salsa are not free. The margaritas are also very expensive, but very good. This is a good place to sit at the bar and have chips and a drink.

My husband and I have been here in the past and both agree that the food has gone down slightly. Our appetizers and desserts were great, but our main courses were lacking. They were better when we visited in 2016.

We went to Frontera on our last night of vacation. We had a reservation but the check in process was a little disorganized at the front of the restaurant. Staff was very friendly and our server was great. Our margaritas (I had and highly recommend the Topolo) and the chips/salsa/guac were excellent. The food was good but pricey. I had the swordfish which was absolutely outstanding ($30) and my husband had the short ribs which was also excellent but very pricey at $44. My daughter had the steak tacos which were good but the meat was pretty chewy and not very flavorful ($24). Overall, we had a good experience but just felt the meal was somewhat overpriced for gourmet Mexican.

Service was bad, slow and they were not busy.
Ran out of drinks a few times and had to ask him to fill them. Food came out right after our appetizers so we didn’t even finish them.
Just overall lazy and not attentive.

I've seen the other reviews and 5 stars about food and price, so I made a reservation for late night (9:30 pm) on New Year's Eve.
The Price:
It felt they just doubled the price from any other Mexican Restaurant.
The Size and Price:
A very small portion of steak taco $24, Chicken Salad $17, Soda $4, Kid's Quesadilla $12
The Experience:
I'm used to go to small restaurants with large selection and reasonable prices. So, I was not impressed with the small selection on their menu and the high priced items.
The steak taco is very small. It came 4 mini tortillas (the size of the palm of my hand) and there was not even enough meat to fill the mini tortillas. We asked if we could have some side of sour cream, and the waitress bought a small sample cup with 1/4 of sour cream. We had to complain to a manager, to get some extra sour cream.
The salad was very unimpressive. It came with its own dressing, but I couldn't even finish it.
The kids menu was ok... Not to much variety, but ok.
My family and I felt that we would have enjoyed more eating at any burger or pizza place around there.
There is no way I could recommend this restaurant to any of my friends.
I don't like to write negative reviews, but I made my reservation based on other people's 5 star reviews, and I didn't feel right letting other people going there without seeing a more real review too.

We had an excellent time at Frontera. We went for an early New Years Eve dinner. The Red Chile enchiladas and mole chicken were excellent. Portion sizes were just right. Service was excellent. Thank you so much for a great evening!

We ordered queso for an appetizer, but it came out really cold. The second go around they over cooked the queso so it was very liquidy. Overall our server was pretty stressed, but was able to bounce back toward the end. The main courses (Carne Asada) were exceptional.
