The menu features an enticing presentation of grilled meats, seafood and vegetables. Frontera Cocina will delight friends, family and food-lovers with exciting flavors and a contemporary Mexican experience.
Hostesses left our strollers in the rain. Manager did nothing to compensate for damage.
The most incredible food we have had at Disney Springs. The mango guacamole was amazing.
We ordered the red chili chicken enchiladas and they are very small portions and we ended up having to get some money back due to it being completely overwhelmed with salt. It was completely an edible. The chicken grilled salad was so spicy that are family member could not eat it. Over $100 for five people and it was not worth more than 30 bucks worth of food that was edible. We were only given 20% off and three people out of five could not eat their meals
Excellent flavor, great service and a beautiful decor. Really, a great spot for any occasion!
The food here is amazing! The Mushroom Torta is delicious and well as the different guacamole choices. We also got to meet Chef Rick Bayless, which was so special; he was a kind man. I can't wait to go back to try something new.
Terrible overpriced poor tasting lukewarm bland tourist trap food and restaurant. Who knows if this was a one off but this place never the less is a tourist trap for poor quality over priced dining. Pop into a Taco Bell for a more authentic Mexican taste (sarcasm).
Being located in the Springs you expect a fairly over priced menu to cater for the passing tourist but this place takes the biscuit. If you had asked me to pay what I think it’s worth then they would have struggled to get $30 out of me (covering the over priced drink and nachos).
Don’t go! Find something ANYTHING ELSE!
Good food, great margs. A little on the pricey side but it is at Disney. Overall have been a couple of times now and have not been disappointed.
Lidia was a great server
I’m a chef as well and have eaten at Red O in LA
Huge fan of Chef Bayless
Loved the food, the staff, the atmosphere...can’t wait to go back!
Great food and service!
Good food. Great 5$ margaritas 😊
Very loud 😨 would recommend but some people can't tolerate that kind of noise level.
We had a wonderful meal. Great margaritas! The best meal we had at Disney. Even the kids agree!!
Amazing, freshly made Mexican food by famed chef Rick Bayless. We have been here a few times and never been disappointed. Among our favorites: blood orange margaritas, pumpkin hummus, guacamole with bacon, Carne Asada and Red Mole Chicken. You really can't go wrong here.
A somewhat pricey Mexican restaurant that doesn’t provide chips and salsa. The service was slow and inattentive.
Wanted to eat there just because I was interested in Rick’s flavors. The food was great but the prices were too much for the little food I received. Won’t be returning.
My husband and I are huge fans of Rick Bayless and his cooking show. I have wanted to try one of his restaurants for a long time. At Frontera in Disney Springs, he has his favorite tequilas on the wall that I recognized from the show. He had introduced a seasonal menu for the summer. Our waiter was very attentive and gladly told us about the chef’s visit to the restaurant on May 1st to introduce the menu to the staff. I tried the one of the cocktails from the menu (an Old Fashion, delicious) and my husband had the grapefruit and lime tort (not a drop left). Our meal was phenomenal and we will definitely be back but most likely for a date night without our sons. The thought and effort put into the menu and preparation was totally lost on them.
Frontera Cocina was delicious and priced accordingly. It was original and seemed refreshingly authentic.
Food was excellent, but was there for special occasion which was not acknowledged by any staff
Very good Mexican food. I recommend the Sopa de Tortilla ;-)
The food is amazing
Excellent service and guacamole.
Not worth the money. Drinks were nothing special. And the food is over priced for just tacos.
Excellent food! We sat at the bar for dinner and drinks. Kyle the bartender was awesome.
Great Food! Recommend the watermelon margarita- YUM
Very expensive but inline with the area. Open dinning room made it very noisey and the lighting was way to bright. Food and service were on point.
Very limited options. Service was outstanding, food was ok, overpriced.
Vacation dining! Excellent!
Service was sublime, as where the cocktails and the guacamole and coctel tropical . The entrees came out literally less than 5 minutes after we got our appetizers. our entrees had to get a bit cold so that we were able to finish our appetizers. The chicken enchiladas were great, but the meat in the carne asada was like shoe leather. The handmade tortillas, the black beans, Poblano's rajas , guacamole, and the green salsa were awesome tasting, but the meat which was skirt steak, either needed to be sliced thinner, or tenderized. It made eating the tacos very difficult. it was crowded at dinner time and although we had a 7 p.m. reservation we felt somewhat rushed to get in and get out so that they could turn the tables. We are huge Rick Bayless fans and have been dining in his Chicago restaurants for years and years. Although this was delicious food, it did not seem up to par with his Chicago restaurants. We would definitely return if we go back to Orlando, but would probably order other entrees. The prices did seem higher at this restaurant versus his restaurants in Chicago. Our server was phenomenal and the service was exceptional.
The watermelon margaritas were marvelous. The skirt steak was tender and delicious.
The chef's made my Neice an off menu entree of quesadillas. This is all she ever orders when we eat Mexican cuisine..... we are from Texas! They were gracious and it was phenomenal food. True customer service. We have watched Rick Bayless on PBS for years. So, it was a pleasure to get to eat at one of his restaurants.
Great tasting food.
Love the tortilla soup, guacamole, and margaritas. Music does not fit the restaurant.
Spectacular service and cuisine. Frontera is a new favorite when I dine in Disney Springs.
Food was delicious and our server was professional efficient and friendly
Have a sea food allergy and order the chicken tortilla soup, server came back and explained that the fryer for the tortillas was not working so they are using the same fryer as the sea food, asked about what the temperature was on the fryer and she had no idea and said she didn't think anyone in the back knew as well. Decided to skip eating and wife and daughter ordered, so 20 minutes later server comes back and thinks they may have some tortillas that were not fried in the same oil, i asked if she was sure to which she wasn't. Limited menu and not so well trained server, not worth another trip for the money.
Finally got to enjoy a lovely meal at Frontera Cocina in Disney Springs. Everything lived up to expectations, both food and service! If you want a prime time dinner seating, be sure to make a reservation.
Our server Jay treated us royally! From the Margarita aperitif to the entrees, only genuine mouth-watering Mexican food with fresh ingredients. Only a bit loud, don't go there for an intimate dinner. Other than that, absolutely recommended, we will come again.
Chips were very hard. The queso was watery. The service was great!!!
My party dined at Frontera while visiting Disney Springs. We chose the restaurant because the chef was able to accommodate three in our party who follow a vegan diet. Both our server and the chef were eager to ensure those with dietary restrictions enjoyed the best meal possible. The hospitality and customer-service oriented attitude held by the staff were greatly appreciated.
