Great dinner with family. Food and service were exceptional.
We were there a few months ago and loved it. We were so excited to go back. Until we got there and realized the whole menu was different. No more mango guacamole. No more fajitas. And as a vegan, my only options were a salad or mushroom tacos. And I know I’m not the only vegan who wants more than a salad for dinner and can’t eat mushrooms. Service was ok. But the menu change was extremely disappointing.
Perfect and delicious from start to finish. Welcoming; amazing server who was knowledgeable about every aspect of the menu, including vegan options. Food was amazing; the best taco I have ever eaten. I can’t wait to go back again.
I understand it’s in a tourist trap but paying $20+ for tacos that are very underwhelming isn’t fun. I had high hopes for this place the decor is beautiful. Rick Bayless is a world renown chef. However it didn’t translate on the plate. I had the grilled chipotle tacos. Nothing about said grilled. It looks like it was stewed. No grill marks to be seen. The tortillas definitely didn’t scream homemade. The grasshopper guacamole app was good. I would order that again. My wife had the mushroom tacos again nothing to write home about. Maybe our expectations are too high. Maybe our pallets are too sophisticated. Maybe it’s not good.
In town for a Volleyball Tournament . Had been to frontera Grill in Chicago and loved it so wanted to try this place out. Food was Fabulous!! Our Waiter was Amazing! Chips , corn tortillas and everything were so fresh! I wanted to go back the next night.
The food was absolutely delicious, and Daniella was an attentive server. We had a great time and will definitely be back!
The food was great. I think it was a little pricey but not unexpected being at Disney. It was very loud and we were seated next to the open kitchen so that added to the noise. Service was quick and our waitress was very good.
Great margaritas and food. Super friendly staff. We were here twice on this trip and all of the staff were incredibly nice, helpful and happy.
Excellent flavors all around! I was a solo diner, and they were willing to seat me near the window at my request despite originally placing me next to a family of 6 with a crying baby. I would highly recommend this place.
Being from Boston, I don’t often have the opportunity to be in Orlando. The last time I was here, I had a fantastic meal at Frontera and couldn’t wait to return. My husband and I were at the restaurant tonight, shortly after arriving from Boston. I was very disappointed. I was told that the chicken tacos that I had last time had changed, so I ordered the carne asada tacos instead.
I would have preferred chicken breast, and the beans arrived cold (as did the tortilla chips). Please bring back chicken breast tacos.

One of our go to places in Disney springs - we have fined at frontera in Chicago and we are fans of rick bayless’s focus on Mexican cuisine. Frontera does not try to be anything beyond a place to offer Mexican food at reasonable prices for the WDW masses. Consistent filling and delightful. I would recommend trying frontera when trying to decide in a sea of opportunities.

I love Rick Bayless. Frontera was good. The food is very expensive. My dish, Carne Asada Taco's were served warm, the black beans not even warm. Our server was knowledgeable and professional. There was nothing over the top about the food. I would recommend it.

Food is amazing! We come to Disney Springs from Lakeland just to eat here. A waiter once told us that their meat is all fresh from a farm in Kansas and I believe it. So good! Their guac and verde salsa is amazing with a spicy kick. My husband either gets the Carnitas or the Carne Asada. I usually get the chicken quesadilla. Highly recommend going around sunset and sitting on the patio. Inside can be very loud. Lastly, it’s a little pricy because it’s Disney. But worth it for the quality food!
I dined at a Rick Bayless Restaurant in Chicago and LOVED it! I was surprised by the lack of creative entree choices, the small size of the portions in relation to the high cost. I know it is Disney Springs, but my entree was something I could have gotten anywhere and only came with a side of beans. Just surprised.
This place is AMAZING. My daughter requested to come here for her 10th birthday. The food is always of great quality and service is great. We come back every chance we get.

Frontera Cocina was just as wonderful as the Chicago Frontera we’re accustomed to, with open air Florida flair.
Meat was over cooked and dry expensive taco I had to put together myself I would not go back and I’ve enjoyed his other restaurants too bad
The pineapple ginger margarita was amazing
Our waiter Uriel was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. He made sure we enjoyed our lunch. The guacamole with bacon was superb.

Wonderful dinner for my birthday. I am gluten free & dairy free and our sever Megan was absolutely wonderful. She also has a gluten allergy so she was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations for food & drinks

We much prefer to eat outside when the weather cooperates. It’s much less noisier. Waitstaff was very attentive. Food was on time and delicious.
This was our second visit to Frontera Cocina in three days. This time we brought a friend who used to live in Chicago, so he was quite familiar with Frontera Grill there--we're all big Rick Bayless fans. As we did a couple of days earlier, my wife and I had Frontera's delicious margaritas--hers with tequila and mine with Mezcal. The three of us shared the mango guacamole with red and green salsas and house-made chips. Very good. For entrees, our friend had the carne asada, which he thought lacked pizzazz. My wife had the Oaxacan chicken mole with rice, which was excellent (especially with extra mole). I had the cochinita pibil (citrus-marinated pork shoulder with achiote paste), which was wonderful. Overall, a great meal and experience. Our friend brought another friend the very next evening for dinner and he had the Oaxacan chicken mole (with extra mole!) and he loved it. What a pleasant surprise! We love Rick Bayless and had been to Frontera Grill in Chicago several times, along with his upscale restaurant, Topolobampo. When I discovered that Frontera (Cocina) was in Orlando I was thrilled. It has the characteristic, colorful, Mexican-style decor, along with a fun atmosphere. The service was excellent. The food and drinks were amazing. We shared the mango guacamole with red and green salsas and house-made chips. Excellent first course. We each had creative margaritas--with tequila and also with Mezcal. These were delicious. For our entrees, my wife had the carnitas and I had the chipotle chicken tacos. Everything was great. Frontera is one of the best places to dine in Orlando.

The chef- Giancarlo met with one of our family members that had many food allergies and accommodated him. Our food was delicious ! I had the flautas and my husband had the grouper . I had the Topolo margaritas - always fresh and outstanding. I wish we lived closer so we could eat here more often!
VERY expensive. Good food and service. Nice ambiance. Not a lot of vegetarian options though.
