    The crab dip was too overpowering with the cream cheese and disappointing. Overall the food was average as the French Onion soup was lacking. No taste, too much water. The haddock was seasoned well, but a very small portion. Place seemed to have seen better days! We were from out of state and took recommendations off internet.

    We love this place. We actually were there for a club meeting and will be there every week from now on! We were upstairs and had privacy. It’s such an awesome place. I’ve been going here for years. Love it !!

    This was truly the worst dining experience of my life, and I dine out a lot. To be fair, it was their Easter buffet, not the usual dining, so your results may vary. Upon entering, we were barely greeted but brought to our large table. It was a table for eight though we were a party of four, so it was very awkward but compared to the food, that part was nothing. Despite it being an 11am reservation, this was not brunch food but rather only dinner type of food. Everything looked incredibly unappetizing. The vegetables were green beans and corn that had to have been from cans. They were swimming in a weird liquid and looked inedible. There was mashed potatoes and stuffing that seemed ok, along with turkey, some sort of pulled beef, and possibly ham. There were two kinds of gravy, both congealed looking despite it being the first reservation of the day. I tried the turkey, beef, potatoes, stuffing, and the light gravy. The potatoes and stuffing were ok, the meat was exceedingly dry. I could barely cut the turkey. There was also fruit salad which was partially frozen yet mushy at the same time. My family, who usually will eat any dessert item, did not find the selection appealing. Even the rolls were bad. The salad was iceberg lettuce plus a bunch of difficult to identify mayo-soaked slaws of various sorts. Even the coffee was undrinkable. They brought us the check almost immediately and included an automatic gratuity that was not advertised. After not eating more than a few bites of anything, we paid the check and left. It was clear that we were very dissatisfied, yet no one inquired a single time. The manager who barely greeted us was at the door as we left and said nothing, not even a goodbye. This cost us $115 for a few bites of mashed potatoes, a couple of dry rolls, and some flat soda for my daughter. The fact that no one inquired as to our experience was definitely the worst part.

    We were very rushed the waitress just kept coming over and asking are you ready every few seconds we ask to get appetizers first she no sooner put them in and was right back at table with are you ready so we ordered we had salads come first then three of the four appetizers come finally the fourth one came then our dinners were on table she ask if she could take some plates away to make room but we never got to really eat our appetizers or salads since everything came around same time and the place was not crowded it didn’t seem like they needed the table that quick. We had been here two weeks before and service and food were amazing that is why we came back but this time it was just the opposite I don’t see us visiting again or telling anyone to go there food seem very different this time and I ordered the same thing I got two weeks prior when we we’re done we left over half of everything on table and didn’t want to take it home our waitress never ask us if anything was ok she just took plates and left check just an bad experience.

    Probably the absolutely worse service I have ever experienced. Had 6pm reservations but had to ultimately seat ourselves, and that was at 650pm. Went to the bar to wait, took 20 mins just to get the bartender to acknowledge we were waiting and then when we politely asked if we could get a drink she rudely stated “Yeah, you and everyone else what do you want?” Our waitress took and appetizer order only - no drinks, no utensils and didn’t return for 20+ minutes. It was a busy night, I get it, but this was just a very bad experience. We won’t be going back - ever.

    The restaurant was terribly understaffed & unprepared for the crowd that evening. Not enough menus, not enough water glasses, not enough staff. They had a very popular local band & should have anticipated the crowd. My steak was overcooked, served bare on a plate alone-no presentation. Barely any steak sauce - 1 bottle with nearly nothing in it. No visible leadership to keep things going. Food was delivered to the wrong tables A tray of food was dumped as it was being returned from a wrong delivery. Sadly my impression of a place that was lovely in appearance & has great potential to be exquisite was “ we don’t need to come back here again.” Understand from locals that the place has gone down hill since transitioning to a new owner.

    We had made reservations for six people but an additional three people showed up. Your staff graciously made accomodations for them and acted like it was no problem. We really appreciated it. The waitress was very friendly and professional. We really enjoyed our stay.

    Food was descent, but upon arrival several plates on the table were dirty. Waitress was also completely fine, however she seemed too busy. They should have had at least one more waitress/waiter working to serve the tables.

    We made reservations for lunch at 2pm for our daughter's Bucknell graduation. Reservations would confirmed via opentable the day before. We arrived at the restaurant where there was no one to greet us. Two other people were seated at the restaurant and told us that only the owner was there. Apparently there was a sign when this couple arrived saying the restaurant was closed for a company picnic. After ten minutes, the owner seated us. However given that he was cook, hostess, waiter and cashier for the 8 of us we left the restaurant and found somewhere else to eat. He looked bewildered when we told him we were leaving. Luckily we did find somewhere else to eat on graduation day. I cannot believe that no one reached out to me to let me know about the situation so that I could have changed my plans. I can't even tell you how the food tasted but you need to definitely call to make sure the restaurant is open before you arrive. We will never go back.

    Our server was friendly and attentive but the food arrived cold. We ordered baked potatoes and got mashed instead. We were told they ran out of baked potatoes. We understand that but we should have been given another choice. I asked for a glass of Zinfandel which is on the wine menu on Open Table. I received white Zinfandel. When I made the waitress aware that it was wrong she contradicted me. When I asked if they had anything similar to red Zinfandel she told me I had to walk over to the bar and ask there. The bartender was dismissive. I ended up ordering a house Cabernet. It tasted like vinegar and so I couldn’t drink it. The worst part is that my mother accidentally left her Mothers Day gift behind. We called the next day and the owner told us nobody found it, so apparently someone at the restaurant that night helped themselves to my 86 year old mother’s gift.

    Our reservation time for Easter Sunday was 11 a.m. The doors don’t open until 11 with a long line of people waiting outside. It was closer to 11:30 until we were seated. This is important if you are taking children and/or elderly family members. Otherwise, the staff was great!

    We had a great time at Front Street Station Friday night. The food was delicious, our server very attentive and the ambiance was fun. It was a bit noisy, but on a Friday night it’s to be expected, especially with live music. Our table was ready when we arrived and we were well taken care of. We were just in the area for an event, but we hope to visit Front Street again!

    This was our first visit to Front St. in about 4years. We had learned there was a new chef who was making very good meals. The rumors proved correct. Three in our party of four ordered the the salmon which was excellent and quite reasonable at $20. For that amount, we you get a vegetable, a nice salad and bread basket for the table. Will definitely plan to return to for another dinner.

    The food was excellent and priced accordingly. Great portions as well, not too much that you have leftovers. The host and waitstaff were pleasant and accommodating despite how busy they were.

    Very cool to eat at a train station. French onion soup was nothing special. Lobster tail was very petite. Tour of Italy was good except for the “plant based” meatball. Nice to experience once, but wouldn’t necessarily go back.

    Our reservation for 7:30 turned into a 8:10 seating! Others were leaving out of frustration. IF we would ever go again, we would NOT bother making a reservation! After we ordered, it took another 48 minutes to get our food! ...and then it was twice the serving of food (at twice the price) that we ordered. To be fair, the waitress did give us one glass of water to hold us over. Then we were told if we wanted to attend the dance party in the next room, we had to order our food in "to-go" containers, as there is NO service in the adjoining area!!! The venue has possibilities, as it's an old train station. Better management is definitely needed to reach the Front Street Station's full potential.

    The place is nice, but it was weird parking in front of the open kitchen door. There was a bunch of garbage in front of the entrance to the banquet room, too. Both of these things took away from our first impression. The food was good. Our server was a little cold, and it took her a long time to notice that our drinks needed filled. I also asked for A-1, and after some time, she brought a bottle that had less than 1/2 a teaspoon of liquid in it. Then after quite a wait, she came back and acted surprised that the bottle was empty. By the time she finally brought a new one, my steak was cold. I didn't complain because it was pointless by then.

    Seating was social distance compliant. Quick service with pleasant staff personalities. Food- burger not fresh ground beef. Steak was done as requested and very good. Cold draft beer. Entertainment in bar area was perfect volume. Will go back.

    The. Appetizers were spot on; the soups and salads were great. However, it was completely ruined when they took over 20 minutes to put out 2 lobster tails which were so burnt they were like rubber. I choked my down since I don’t like to waste food but I sent my Wife’s back and even the second tail was over cooked. It would have been a great experience if it wasn’t for their inability to cook lobster tails. Don’t think I’ll be back.

    We waited over an hour for our steaks. When they came the one was like shoe leather. Manager never came to our table to address the issue. Ordered a cherry margarita that tasted like cough syrup, asked to send it back after one sip, ordered a beer. Took 15 minutes to get my beer and they still charged me for the drink. Terrible customer service.

    The service here was extremely slow on this occasion and in the past. Whenever a server is required to obtain an alcoholic beverage from the bar for any of their customers it severely delays table service.

    A lot of potential with this location but just seems to be poorly executed. Ambiance inside on the night we visited was just very poor. If the food was better I think it would have made up for the atmosphere but even the food was subpar with prices that are higher than other similar dishes & restaurants in the area. Just not worth it in our opinion but with some fixes I’m sure it could be nice

    Host didn’t receive my reservation on open table, however there were many empty tables to choose from. Outside dining was great under trees, even a train went by. Service was on the slow side- even though we were the only one of 2 tables seated. Waitress never came back to check if we enjoyed our sandwiches or if we needed another drink. Music was 50’s style-a little too loud. Food was good/ price was as expected.

    This was a wonderful dining experience in a converted train station...menu offered many selections from "simple bar food" such as wings, pretzel, sandwiches, burgers to full entrees such as new york strip steak, bbq ribs, crab cakes; I especially like the smaller portions section offering full meals including beverage, entrée with choice of potato and side and rice pudding or ice cream for dessert. My date ordered the fish and chips special which he enjoyed very much the fish was very flaky and lightly coated with I think was a panko coating (large portion that even appeared to look like a fish) served with a home made coleslaw and fresh cut french fries. I chose the smaller portion crab cake dinner and it was a perfectly portioned lump crab without any filler just lightly coated with bread crumbs on the outside to hold it together very nicely seasoned this was accompanied with a baked potato and I chose the squash medley (veg of the day) which was perfectly prepared and slightly seasoned. The bread basket and the spreads were fabulous; however we did ask for an additional slice for there were only three slices in the basket and it was so good I wanted a second (two people 3 slices?) Coffee was fresh and my cocktail a fruity margarita was very well made. Service was wonderful...we had made reservations however had gotten there a few minutes late but were joyfully greeted upon entering offered seating indoor or outdoor-due to the heat we chose to eat indoors and taken to a very nice table in a beautifully decorated room that appeared to be an addition added onto the original train station overlooking the train tracks very bright and airy, we had walked thru a darker more intimate nicely decorated more formal dining area but really enjoyed the openness of the "sunroom" dining. After dinner we did walk thru and view the "ballroom" which was a beautifully decorated room flanked on both sides by train cars with dining accommodations; the main diningroom had many photos
