We were there for a birthday and an anniversary dinner. It was not busy however the servers were a little too anxious to clear our cocktail glasses before we even finished the drink. The same happened with the food. We clearly were still enjoying the dish when they whisked it away. I stoped them with the drink. 🥺

We had dinner with our 4 yr old granddaughter and it was an outstanding experience. The food and service were excellent and our granddaughter really enjoyed the kids mac & cheese and lemonade. Noise levels were low so it was easy to hold a conversation without having to shout. A great night out...I highly recommend...

We didn’t get to eat. Despite a reservation they were closed for a private party. Several of us who had reservations were turned away by a locked door and only a sign. We went to Vaqueros for an excellent brunch.

Not a good first impression. Booked a party of 8 for brunch for a baby shower we were hosting. Made reservations on open table a month ago, even got a confirmation the night before asking if we were still coming. Got to restaurant only to find it empty and closed. Called the restaurant and no one answered. Went up to Vaqueros last minute and had an excellent brunch there. Hate to leave a bad review without even setting foot in the restaurant but this is unacceptable to have not called anyone on the reservation list and let them know that the place is closed for whatever reason. Not professional and not planning on dining there in the future because of this lack of customer service or courtesy

We tried to order drinks at beginning of our dinner. Many of the top shelf liquors on their menu, were not actually carried. Same story for dessert. Looked forward to trying their cheesecake on the menu, but they apparently don't carry it anymore, even though it's on their menu. I contacted them with these concerns, hoping they would respond, and I wouldn't post this here. But, they never responded to my email.

We were disappointed on our fathers day event. Last year that had great service, app choices, and fathers day specials. This year they had sandwiches for the specials, were out of lobster as well as other options. they had many staff but only one person seemed to be assisting us but even then she was forgetful and lacked follow through. Saying that I will say we were a party of 9, and there was only ONE OTHER PARTY in the small restaurant. They had only one of the three options for desserts as well. The meal was basic and lacked flavor, proper temps, and overall appearances and care. The meals definitely not worth the price of a steak house their menu pricing suggests.

I found this restaurant online, based on the menu listed there I opted to take the family since everyone would have something special to eat. Come to our surprise, their menu has changed and we had to improvise. Mixed drinks weren’t tasty but nothing a cold beer can’t fix.

In short, average. Probably ok if you live in the neighborhood and don't want to travel, but not worth searching out for dinner if you don't. Our waiter Eli, while nice and very friendly (and on his 3rd day), clearly had never read the menu as he had to look over my shoulder when we asked for anything. The manager, who had to fire a waitperson while we were there, was incredibly friendly to just about everyone in the restaurant but altogether avoided talking to us for some reason, even when we left and walked right by him. Not a thank you, good night, come back, or anything. Stra ge as we spent over $100 for two on dinner. The food was average as well. Osso was dry (it's not supposed to be), and the steak fritz was a fatty piece of meat my wife had difficulty eating. The fries were good. We have been looking for things in the area that are good and worth revisiting and have found quite a few places, but it wasn't here, unfortunately.

This is the worse experience I have ever had at a steak house. The server did not know what he was doing, had no knowledge of the menu and never even picked up the dirty dishes or menus. The sad part is, that was not the worse. The food was luke warm at best. The shrimp was floating in oil and over cooked. We ordered their ribeye, it was under seasoned, seemed like it was cooked earlier in the day and reheated, and had a thin grey line in the middle (tasted and felt like it was frozen at one point). It got so crazy, when we asked for steak sauce (A1, Heinz’s 57…), we were told they did not know what we were asking for and brought us salsa. When we explained to the manager, he acted like we did not know what we were talking about. He was condescending and basically blaming us. So NO, this place is not worth donating your money to! I asked the waiter how long he had been there and he said it’s his 2nd day. I felt so bad for him because his own manager isn’t even making sure if he simply understands his job and responsibilities and has failed this young man! If I could rate them a negative star, I would.

Atmosphere and waitress were awesome, however probably the worst food delivery ever. Got there at 6:30 for a table of 9 and by 8:10 they were finally bringing out the last plate of undercooked steak...like cold center. Table of 9 food was coming out a single plate at a time(with kids plates last) between 5-10 minutes apart. Will not be back

This was Mother's Day brunch, so the menu was limited, but all 4 of us got something different and no one enjoyed their meal. Someone got the lamb chops and they came 20 mins after everyone else got their food that was cold. The lamb was pretty raw, so we had to send it back. It still wasn't good. The drinks were fine. The service was ok. Servers seem to be aware of the situation and were solemn. The table next to us got several things comped because they complained. We didn't complain, but the food was left on the plates and no one asked how our meal was. All together disappointing, especially for Mother's Day.

My daughter and I went to The Frog and Bull, and had a great experience! We were all about the small plates and tried a lot! We didn’t try anything that we didn’t like. The service was great as well! We will definitely go back!

My salmon was great, my son's steak was undercooked but good flavor. Our waitress must have been new as she didn't know the specials. I'll go again as all dishes had great taste.

This place was fantastic! Met some friends here; drinks and food were incredible! Can’t believe we’d never tried here before. Our waitress, Lana, was quick to get us our orders and helped with recommendations. The vibe is great for a date night, or just catching up with friends. Wonderful food, excellent service, will be back again!

Most items on menu was sold out. Took 1 hour for appetizers and prime rib was over cooked. I do not recommend this restaurant!

Robert, very sorry this was your experience, especially since it is not the norm. I am extra disappointed your prime rib did not turn out to your liking since it is something we receive accolades for far more often than not. The restaurant business is a tough business, and the current economy is brutal. This forces us to manage our cash flow carefully and contract our business staffing and stock to satisfy current demand / trends. Last Saturday was unusually busy and caught us short.

I always try to be honest in my reviews, there is absolutely no point in lying. Here we go. I booked a table for one, arrived, was seated. Ordered a bottle of wine, they had sold out, so ordered a different one. A 14 year old child was my server initially. Another server took my starter order, Brussel sprouts, i didn't order a main because i hadn't quite decided yet. When the starter arrived, i ordered my main, two mouthfuls into the starter, the main arrived ! i told the 14 year old young lady i wasn't ready for it yet. Two minutes later, she again brought the main, i was only half way through my starter. I said please take it away until i'm ready. 10 minutes later the child brought it back, prime rib at $31 by the way, i said, the fat has turned white, which means it is cold, i took a mouthful and it was cold. I asked for it to be changed. Five minutes later, a guy, the chef/owner came to my table and said he would not tolerate the F bomb being used to a 14 year old girl, i was confused, i had not sworn at anyone, let alone a 14 year old child. He confronted me by saying "are you saying she is a liar ?" i said, she may have misunderstood something i said, but i definitely did NOT swear at anyone. 10 minutes later, he asked me to leave, saying he would take her word over mine, i understand you have to have faith in your staff, but on this occasion, because she lied, he was wrong. I have dined out nearly every night for the last 25 days, never in a million years would i go near this place again ! If you employ 14 year old children, you will never have a restaurant worth anything. Sending a main out with the starter is amateurish at the very least, and sending it with an inexperienced 14 year old child is worse.

She was a 14-year-old... hostess / busser. Does it really matter? You cussed out a 14-year-old, and the experienced female server who took your order, and corroborated by our other patrons. That's why I sent you packing. I'd be happy to do it again. I also would've been happy to remake your dish given that your leisurely desires were unusual, but only on decent terms and conditions. I confess, I don't have any patience for people who treat my staff as less. All else welcome ( - :

We got 15 minutes early to our “reservation” and end up waiting a total of 45 minutes to get seated. Our waitress came to our table maybe twice before we decided to leave. Reason why we left was because it took us another 30 minutes to just get the drinks in. To top it off they ran out of 2 of the items we were hoping to enjoy that night it just didn’t make sense for them to run out of in a “STEAKHOUSE”??

Mixed feelings. Drinks arrived after several dishes arrived and we had to remind them twice. Meatballs were cold. Patatas Bravas is not boiled potatoes in tomatosauce. Other dishes were fine. Drinks when they arrived were as well. Realize it was Valentines day, we will give it another try.

I was a bit apprehensive about trying this place because it had mixed reviews. However, I decided to give it a shot on Valentine's Day, and am I glad I did! I REALLY enjoyed it. While looking at their website and menu online, I was a little confused. I couldn't really tell if they were a Tapas Bar, a Steakhouse, Fine Dining, or Sports Bar. However, when I got there, I found out they were all of the above. The atmosphere is sort of "mixed". It's a cross between fine dining, and upscale sports bar. There are large TV's on every wall, but the "Mood" is sort of "upscale". They had good music playing in the background, the tables had black tablecloths on them, and the chairs were comfortable. The staff were all well dressed and groomed, and very friendly. The Co-Owner (husband/wife team) was front and center and very accommodating. One of their featured items is their prime rib. My prime rib was big, good flavor, and cooked the way I like it. My wife had the Oso Bucco and it was tender and flavorful (and quite large). They have all sorts of craft cocktails, and the bartender was pretty awesome. Make reservations, though, because the place was PACKED by 7:00 - 8:00.

Thanks for your kind words! I love this review and sometimes we wonder if it seems we have an identity crisis. We don't mean to. Frog & The Bull has four rules, the first of which is Nail Our Theme. Nail Our Theme means three things: eclectically energetic, classy-sexy, Iberian inspired, upscale-casual. When we first added the TVs [at our regulars' request] we were worried it would impair our classy-sexy feel for fear of being interpreted as a sports bar. It did not. It enhanced it.

Your establishment was understaffed. Our waitress was doing her best, but couldn't keep up. The waiter doing omelettes had a line 12 people deep. The omelettes were tasteless. You need to season somehow! Food was a big disappointment. The food buffet served COLD food. The chicken and biscuits tasted like frozen box items. There were limited choices for a breakfast BUFFET...only three entrees and a green salad to choose from... AND your Bloody Mary's were NOT what was represented on your website...not even an olive!!! There were no olives, shrimp, bacon, etc. as represented in the online picture...that's false advertising! This was two visits in one...my first and my LAST! For the SAME price of $25, I can go to Steiner Ranch breakfast buffet, not far away, and enjoy a PLETHORA of food choices deliciously prepared.

The food was good but average. Salad was missing some ingredients. Date appetizer was fried - tasty but a lil overdone. The salmon was good but orzo just ok. Waiter was a lil slow checking in with us and getting bill to pay. Music was loud and not a nice vibe - cursing in some of it.
