The prices aren't horrible, but they don't match the quality of the food. Almost $20 for a small bowl of pasta with a single piece of bread, and sauce and pasta were average at best.
Boyfriend ordered hamburger and french fries, which were $15, average as well.
However, restaurant was beautiful and I liked the ambience.
Great atmosphere, service and food. Can’t wait to sit at their beautiful bar someday soon.
I have been here before and got the FPT burger. I got it again and it was not nearly as good as the first time I had it! I could tell when it was brought to my table that it was not the same!
Always a treat. Great steak. Wonderful service. Very COVID conscious. I’ll be back soon....very soon.
Not a lot of people due to covid. I love tavern atmospheres. I got the flank steak and it was amazing! Our server was extremely friendly!
Nice new place near Frick Park. Upscale tavern feel with limited but good menu. Chicken pot pie special drew raves and other meals were all great for our party of 6.
The food was good, but nothing stood out. The prices seemed a little high, but the outdoor dining had a good vibe.
Ahhh the food was so good. This was one of our first times dining out in a while and we felt very safe here. Lots of distance between tables
We decided to sample a bunch of food rather than just traditional meals.
Oh and what a good call that was. Our server offered suggestions and made the meal absolutely perfect!!
Can’t wait to go back. I could eat 10 tacos .
We opted for of an early, outdoor reservation. It was a bit windy, but we were comfortable. The service was friendly, and followed all Covid protocol. The mushroom shrimp risotto was incredible! The meatloaf and the pasta bologanese were as well. And don’t miss the lemon berry cake! This is a great neighborhood place, and worth the drive if you don’t live in the Square. 5 stars for sure!
A hidden gem in Regent Square. The food was fantastic and the service was just as good. Good outdoor seating and great value.
It was so much more than I expected. The portions were a smaller fine dining size. The quality was spot on and presentation was a delight. So excited to find this place.
Lovely dinner experience. Went to watch Astros game and eat nice dinner with friend. Dylan the waiter is the best waiter and the owner came out to check on us. Love having a nice neighborhood restaurant.
Food was very good. Service was excellent. Prices were fair. Recommend highly.
Excellent local restaurant with solidly good food, friendly staff and very modest prices. We are excited to make this a new regular.
Good food. Limited menu, but maybe because of the times, and its cooked to order, I would guess. Maybe someone called off, bc the service was minimal...maybe they are just staying clear of the tables, which I get. They have outside seating. Need a res for that.
First time here, we enjoyed it
The food and service never disappoints. The fries are outstanding, crisp and salty. The new patio dining is wonderful especially with the beautiful evenings we have had this summer.
The fish special was spectacular- I love having this resturant in our neighborhood!
Food and service were excellent. We consistently receive outstanding meals at FPT. Highly recommend. The past two visits, I've had the catchof the day and it has been amazing. Husband got the featured dish, which was also terrific. The burger, our son's favorite, is one of the best I've ever had. Daughter loves the salmon wrap.
FPT has done a remarkable make-over from Ease. Much more relaxed and comfortable, with good service and unique offerings like Speciality cocktails, fried cauliflower appetizer, delicious calamari and the entree special, red snapper, was quite good. Jimmy Brown has survived the current limitations and will surly thrive. We’ll know the COVID crisis is behind us when the mussels are back on the menu!
Food was good
Great spot for outdoor dining during COVID times! Make sure to make a reservation!
The staff was very friendly. We had a choice of many foods. The selection was very “earthy.” The best part of the meal was the appetizer and wine. The “handmade linguine” was undercooked and stuck together.
I love this restaurant! Everything is great from the food to
people to the atmosphere!
It was ok but could have been better
Meatloaf was good but could
Have been hotter
Soup was good and hot
Glass of wine -$13 a little pricey
French press coffee for $6 - really? Not necessary
Could be a good restaurant but would only
Rate it a 7
We met another couple for dinner on a Saturday. The dining room was crowded, and the wooden floors and walls didn’t soften the noise level. Both sides of our table had some difficulty hearing the other.
The service was attentive, but our entrees were somewhat slow to arrive. I assume the kitchen and chefs were somewhat overwhelmed by the demand.
When the entrees did arrive, we all agreed that the quality and portions were a good value. I was less thrilled with the dessert, but the house salad I had as a first course was good.
I would definitely dine there again, but I might try a weekday evening when I would expect the dining room to be less noisy.
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, as did my Dad. However, I ordered a Yuengling and they were out.
very limited wine list/wine by the glass. good clam chowder. glad to see neighborhood place busy.
The burger was so greasy that it was inedible. The cheese board was underwhelming. However, the vegetable panini and Cuban sandwiches were excellent. Service was attentive and knowledgeable.
We go there with our friends often. Always happy with the food and service.
We enjoyed our meal and our server, Monique, was fabulous. Very helpful, nice and attentive. Food was really tasty and proportions were generous.
Great ambiance, excellent service, good food and drinks, nice mix of patrons. Impressed by spotless restroom, too!
Henry was our server and very personable.
Great food, excellent service. Love the decor and ambiance.
Waiter was very attentive, but when we asked about sandwiches and salads, he immediately said ‘we could do better’ and promoted the entrees instead. We’ve eaten there several times and have enjoyed our meals each time. The casual fare is always yummy! Wine bottles prices well too.
The food was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is charming and welcoming. The drinks were tasty! I am so glad to have this addition to our little Regent Square community!
We had a 5pm reservation. Door was unlocked at 5pm on the dot. We arrived at 4:45 and waited outside in frigid temps. Our server, Jacob, was amazing, my dinner choice was also amazing (short rib) and melt in your mouth delish. Next time will ask for later time. Would highly recommend.
This was our second visit to this restaurant in a couple weeks. Overall, we have found the food to be excellent and the wait-staff very helpful and accommodating.
After a wonderful meal 6 weeks ago I hoped to reprise the experience. I was disappointed. The steak I remembered from December was replaced by a smaller, lower quality cut of meat. The server was pleasant but hard to find and my friend returned her main course ( also the steak) because it was overcooked. The “ toast “ of the day was delicious and perfect to split as an appetizer. I hope economical choices don’t impact the early success of this restaurant. Otherwise is will be an Ease reprise and come off our list of local favorites.
We always enjoy dinner at this restaurant and always request Jacob for our server. Nice guy with a great personality.
