   This may be unfair because DesMoines was very busy this weekend. We had a 7:30 reservation Saturday night and got seated promptly. Our server came right over to take our drink orders, and then we ordered dinner when she brought the drinks. We then waited over an hour for our food. The restaurant was busy and a there were two large, very loud, seemingly inebriated groups in the restaurant. They kept singing a very bad version of happy birthday (at least 4 different times)…..Making the wait seem longer and not at all relaxing. After about 50 minutes, our server came by to tell us the kitchen was almost caught up (no one told us they were behind). 15 minutes later we inquired about our food. When our server checked, she said it would be out shortly and it was. The food was fine, but the wait without an apology was very unfortunate.

   Ordered the squash salad with grilled chicken. Very fresh lettuce. Excellent flavor and service was fast. Definitely will go back to try several other items on the menu.

   We selected Fresko for Easter brunch and could not have been happier. The meal was great and our server was delightful.

   We dined with friends from out of town. The menu offered something for everyone to enjoy. Our server was kind and efficient.

   We had a great brunch following church. The meal was great and our server was delightful. And the piano music set the ambiance perfectly!

   Came for brunch for my daughter’s third birthday and she loved her “eggies and sausage “ lol. Emily was great ! :)
