Since 1999, Fresh has been Toronto’s original source for modern plant-based food. We offer a full line of raw, organic cold pressed juices, and craft cocktails made with local artisanal ingredients. For 20 years it’s been our mission to prove that a plant-based diet can be satisfying, energizing and crave-able. Our food is made daily, in-house, from whole, natural ingredients.

In an effort to keep our community safe, we ask guests stay home if they are feeling ill or present any symptoms of Covid-19 or any other communicable illnesses.

    The food took over 45 mins to arrive (we just ordered bowls) and when it did, one of the plates was incorrect (arrived with rice instead of soba). We then asked for a side of soba and after another 30 minutes, another entire bowl was provided instead of just a side. While we benefitted, we saw other tables get served before us and there was less than 10 people in the restaurant during the duration we were there. I am happy their takeout business is thriving, but as patrons dining in, I would hope to be prioritized.

    Overall it was fine, always a nice experience at Fresh but nothing I could tell you that particularly stood out as terrible nor as stellar. Food is always delicious (though prices can add up quickly with small items). The biggest tip I can give is that - the front patio is great for being out in the fresh air and sunshine but the location (Spadina and Richmond) is incredibly loud. We had about 4-5 ambulances pass by and a firetruck at some point. I also noticed that a group of food delivery cyclists seem to congregate right in front of the restaurant (their meeting spot, perhaps?) which seems like it isn't a big deal but added to the disruption of an already busy downtown street. And to cap things off, we had an unwell man screaming obscenities up and down the street for the latter part of our meal. All of this to say that I don't blame the restaurant, but can be quite the distraction throughout your dining experience!

    We absolutely loved our meal! I’m vegan & my spouse isn’t - both of us thought it was amazing! My spouse also really enjoyed his margarita. We would definitely eat here again!!

    Food was very tasty and portions were worth it (we had starters, main and dessert). I was safe with my gluten and dairy allergies as they made sure to verify what had gluten with the kitchen 🙏🏻 The service was excellent! Our server Heath was fantastic💜 The patio seating was lovely! Cute and comfy ☺️ I’ll definitely be back there soon!

    The food would have been really good but they burnt something (I think the kale) and the whole dish just tasted bad because of it. Me and my mom both got the bowls (beach and tiger) and it was just not very good. I could tell if it wasn’t so burnt it would be good . Our waitress was super nice and the ambiance was great. The place is really interesting inside too.

    We waited more than 1 hour to get out meals. Our server was rude and even sarcastic. The manager apologized and offered a discount, but the overall experience was very disappointing

    The cauliflower taco consisted of 3 giant raw cauliflowers, covered in batter, and deep fried, in a pita that was terribly small. Likely an overcompensation for utter lack of flavour. Everything was bland, dry, and disappointing.

    Probably the worst experience eating out in Toronto. We were celebrating a birthday with my best friend and had reservations to this resto. We waited 15 minutes to be seated, then another 25 before anyone came to take our drink orders. Once our food order was placed we waited at least an hour for our meals to arrive. Everyone who arrived after us had their food delivered already. When we enquired about the massive delay we were treated like we were annoying and we’re ghosted for the rest of the dinner. Our plates weren’t cleaned and the waiters ignored us. We had to go out of our way to get the bill. It was awkward and really embarrassing. The service was absolutely horrendous. Thanks for ruining a birthday dinner. Never again.

    Food and decor of the place was amazing, server however was extremely rude and not enthusiastic at all. It made our evening a little sad/disappointing as we constantly felt judged and bothered by her.. I never write bad reviews, but this one of the worst guest experiences I have ever had and don't feel comfortable returning because of the server. :(

    I have been to Fresh many times. Usually a good experience but this past visit was not good. Service was poor and food was very late. Hope that this changes.

    quite disappointed i mentioned at the time of reservation that it was a birthday meet up and instead of being given a front window we were seated at the back... server was really sweet but seemed to disappear on us - and then took forever to order our food - get our food - and finally i just went and asked a server to let me pay so that we could speed things up.

    Buffalo cauliflower and quinoa onions rings are standard favourites. Salads are great. The rose latte was lovely. Ginger drink and lemonade so refreshing. Either would be awesome on a hot day. Very clean, beautifully prepared food.

    Our server, Thomas, was an absolute delight! Food was outstanding as usual. The only feedback is to have specific menus printed for each location as the pizza was not available at Spadina.

    Great service overall except for one item. There were several pieces of mushy green lettuce pieces in my super combo salad. I asked for them to be removed and the salad returned to me. They brought a new salad but with none of the signature cucumbers pieces and green beans - just lettuce and sprouts. I didn’t bother mentioning this any further to the waiter but seemed pretty common sense.
