Since 1999, Fresh has been Toronto’s original source for modern plant-based food. We offer a full line of raw, organic cold pressed juices, and craft cocktails made with local artisanal ingredients. I have been coming to Fresh for years now. Even before I myself started on my plant based life. I find that the service and food quality has dwindled over the years. I have even attempted to work at Fresh multiple times and it was very difficult to ever get in. Yet the service was mediocre at best and has been like that for the last couple years in any of the locations I have gone to. I get that service in general in the hospitality industry has become worst and worst. Having worked in the industry for 18yrs and being passionate about providing memorable and personable experiences I guess I just have a higher standard for that aspect of the outing. The food was alright, not enough dressing on one of the salads (The Caesar salad was super tasty, thought the “crispy chicken” was sad and not as crispy as I thought it would have been) I found The nachos to be poorly dressed, Too many chips with not enough of the goods. The fries were tasty this time around. The soup was delicious and the pita good too, though for soup I prefer a bread that is going to soak up my soup more, and Pita is not the bread for that. I went with the chocolate cake as my bday dessert and others got the cheesecake. I know that these are all “Sweets of the earth” and I used to die for that chocolate cake. The slice was dry and crumbly (used to be moist and fresh) and there was a significant bit of the cake not there due to cutting and the dryness of the cake. I imagine it crumbled off when they were slicing. big portion for both cakes which I like and also think it would be more ideal to have a more standard size and not charge so much for the slices so that people can have variety. I ordered the fireball and I have no idea why it was served in a Latte mug, it was filled to the rim and spilled all over the saucer. I remember the fireball being different as well. Not as enjoyable as I remember it once was. I appreciate having plant based restaurants such as Fresh and will continue to go.

I'm never disappointed when I go to any of the Fresh locations. I've long frequented it and, as a vegan, I appreciate the diverse menu with lots of wonderful choices. I often take my non-vegan friends there and they are always pleasantly surprised that they don't feel deprived. I like lots of things on the menu, but I'd like to give a special shout-out to the quinoa onion rings, the dragon broccoli, and the power shake.

I have been going to Fresh since they first opened. THE BIGGEST ISSUE i have is why are the restrooms so disgusting and not looked after. This has also been consistent over the years and also not much better at Fresh on Crawford. Please could we do a better job on this. Clean eating should also have clean restrooms! Thanks (Also dressing on the side).

Lovely place. They used to have the best vegan bowls I had ever tested. This last time, found them good, but a bit disappointing. I would go there again, but there is definitely room for improvement.

I have been to fresh numerous times and the service has always been amazing. The service was slow, we were rarely checked on, not asked if we wanted more drinks - and the service overall was below what is expected. The food is amazing which will keep me going back . But our whole group (who 5 of them it was their first time at a vegan restaurant) and everyone commented how bad the service one. They did love the food

Great variety! A nice spot while on the road for some fresh, healthy, and delicious options to counteract all the unhealthy options out there. I had the Favourite Bowl and it was so delicious, as was the Botanical G+T. The location was convenient, and the restaurant was bright and spacious, and though it was very hot outside, it was nice and cool. I'll definitely be back!

Second time going to this location. I went with a friend and we ordered just for share the onion quinoa rings, two drinks, mi friend as a main ordered the dumplings and I ordered a bowl. Food was good, we didn’t get the drinks until the end of the meal because we asked for them again. We felt like the server didn’t care much about us and the place wasn’t even full. When we asked for the bill the servers asked if we wanted 1 or separate and we asked for separate and she brings us back the whole thing slipped in half. We understand that maybe she was having a bad day, but that was our experience.

The food was delicious and prepared with care. The restaurant was clean, the decor was lovely, and the tables nicely spaced out. The one negative aspect was the music, which we found unnecessarily loud and jarring.

Food took more than half an hour to arrive and the prices are so high for what is offered. I had a drink that was really good (the deep immune) but I don't think I'll be getting a meal there again.

Fresh has updated their menu and it's not a change for the better. The fries are a pale shadow if what they used to be. The wrap was bland and the salad leaves were wilted.

Attentive service and the new menu is phenomenal! It was my date’s first time at Fresh, and he was impressed with the quality and ambiance; he had the Cali burger, and I had the Favourite bowl with soba noodles. Highly recommended.

The happy hour from 3-5 PM was a great surprise! We tried the Nachos and the Buffalo Cauliflower; both were yummy and had a good portion to share. We also got the happy hour smoothies! The staff was friendly, and they checked in on us regularly. We will be going back for sure!

Waiter was very personable, joked around with us when my lunch mate asked for a take home box before we were served our meal. We were seated away from the main dining area which was surprisingly quiet & comfy.

We came in Sunday and while we were waiting for our food the smell of oil paint was so overwhelming!! It was not a comfortable time, with the terrible smell. When I googled oil paint it says it’s harmful. You should have closed your doors and not had people in your restaurant.

I have been going to Fresh for years and for the first time ever the service yesterday was horrible. The restaurant was not busy yet our food took over 40 mins! And our server seemed confused, we had to repeat our orders for drinks and for food numerous times until he got it right, and then he seemed unfamiliar with the food items and the drinks. When asking for wine recommendations he said he didn’t know. Overall just a bad experience yesterday.

The manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. Very dismissive, responding rudely when we asked about our food, rude looks to our whole table when there was confusion about our food, very rude tone of voice. Zero customer service skills and should not be in that industry. Very disappointing as we enjoy this chain and frequent these Fresh restaurants often. She will be the reason we will not return to this location.
