Since 1999, Fresh has been Toronto’s original source for modern plant-based food. We offer a full line of raw, organic cold pressed juices, and craft cocktails made with local artisanal ingredients. We were seated on the patio as requested. Our server was so friendly and helpful. She moved an umbrella to keep us in the shade. We really enjoyed the fresh, delicious soup.

Food was OK-portions were large. Servers struggled to keep up with the large crowd. Maybe they were understaffed that night. I would recommend this place for a vegan; I suggest go at a time they are not busy.

I have been going to fresh for many years, especially the queen in Crawford location. Also, the old Eddington location, and the core of the new one very beautiful as well as a set up. On the other hand, the service was pretty bad. Only one person at the main counter, and two servers. We waited a long time to be seated and even to be acknowledged. Once we were seated, our server took the order, but even the food took a wild to come. When we got our last fish, a bowl, there was just not enough dressing and we had to get up to ask both server and the person working at the main counter for more dressing - which to cut long time and we asked again - to be notified that they were making a new batch. I guess that explains why there was barely any dressing in our dish . All in all we waited over 10 minutes for the dressing, and our bowl was fully cold at this point. The restaurant was obviously understaffed, and we had reservations, therefore one would think that they would receive normal service. Not sure what the situation that location and training the staff received, but did not feel that I was at a fresh restaurant for sure. We felt pretty much ignored and the food was not up to the standards where are used to at this restaurant.

It took us 1.5 hrs to receive our food, they said they were busy because they had a lot of Uber eats orders, but why not prioritize your guests dining in? Also the music was way too loud.

We often go to Fresh and love the food and service. However this branch was not a great experience. We were one of the first tables to arrive and order for brunch, yet our meals (simply toasties, and burrito wraps) took over 30mins to arrive. Each time we ordered drinks, simply mimosas, they also took sometimes 15mins to arrive. Leaving one of our friends to have to 'down' her drink at the end of the meal, feeling bad as we had been there so long. The restaurant perhaps had 5 other tables. Yet, it felt like a battle every time to get our waiters attention as she walked by (as with other waiters working the floor) calling out multiple times. Being brunch and a catch up with friends, we were there to have a great meal and speak. This was made so difficult though: the music was literally blaring out of the speakers. When we asked (3 times) we were given an aggravated looks and the music was turned down, just in the slightest. After perhaps 10mins, it was turned up again! This happened 3 times. By the third time, my husband had a headache and we found that we had been shouting and struggling to hear each other over the small table we were seated at during our entire meal. It was really unpleasant and completely excessive. We were at brunch, not a bar on a Friday night. Perhaps if the music was lower, the wait staff would be able to notice when tables needed their attention. Like when we were given fries and had to wait an additional 10 mins to just get a little pot of ketchup. As we said, we love Fresh, but the overall experience was not good. Slow service for straight forward orders, difficulty getting waiters attention, massive delays in simple drink orders, and quite frankly not great attitudes when we politely asked that blaring music be turned down (and asking again, and again over the meal).

Vibes of the place are nice and they have great service; unfortunately it’s expensive for what it is and not very tasty. I went with two friends - ordered the dragon broccoli and three different bowls, all of which were quite bland. Their draft beers are also very expensive considering the serving size.

Food took 53 minutes to arrive. The waiter argued with me how long it had been. Last week was worse, the kitchen lost the order, food arrived more than 1 hour after placing order. The waiter asked us "you don't have your food yet?" I replied, "you're our waiter, did you bring it?" Unbelievably poor service. Will not return.

Loved the food here. Have always enjoyed it. This is now the closest to us as we used to travel all the way from Durham to the king west location. Or spadina. Yonge and Eglinton is much better for us but we truly wish we could get a location out in Scarborough or Pickering. Such great tasting and healthy eats. We absolutely love it!!!

Fresh has been our go-to for both take-out and dine for years, however the service and quality of food have declined in the past year. The new brunch menu is very limited, with only 5 options. the green eggs burrito was very greasy, and made my stomach queasy. My daughter ordered the grilled cheese avocado sandwich- the bread was definitely grilled however instead of melted the cheese, Two slices of cheese were placed between the bread, avocado, tomato and greens. For a kid, grilled cheese is a treat, and my daughter’s favourite. Needless to say, she removed the cheese and had one half of the overpriced sandwich. When I mentioned something to the server, she dismissed me saying ‘they’re not going to do that!’ With Fresh expanding, the quality is definitely in decline. Will be going elsewhere.

Takes a while for food to come out as they were extremely busy with take out orders. Gave instructions for 1/2 rice and extra greens. Kitchen didn’t follow instructions. 2nd week that the bowl arrived minus the tofu. Bean soup was amazing.
