Delicious! Food was plentiful and tasty! Service was great! Attentive but not intrusive!
We came to Fresco for our last day in Hawaii for a romantic honeymoon dinner! The atmosphere was amazing we sat indoors and still amazing!! We both ordered the lobster and filet mignon and we were in heaven!! We had some cocktails and shared a dessert! If you’re ever in Hawaii and want to go somewhere romantic and or just want Italian Fresco’s is the place to go!!
Catch of the day was just ok. If looking for seafood go elsewhere. Good for Italian food though.
Fresco is an excellent Italian restaurant! Four of us went when in Hawaii and were surprised at the quality of food and the value. The price fixe menu offed a salad, choice of pasta off the menus, and an exceptional creme brûlée for dessert! The lasagna, spaghetti bogognese, and seafood pasta were wonderful! A great meal for all!!
Food was above average but not many options for gluten free. Waiter was helpful with suggestions
Fabulous Italian food. We ordered spaghetti, fettuccine alfredo, lasagna and the surf and turf and everyone leaves their meals. Service was on point as well.
My overalls experience was horrible. Wait staff and hostess were absolutely rude. Never again! Please don’t go to this fake Italian restaurant.
Food and service were very good. We had the chicken parm and the Swordfish. Fried calamari was delicious. The noise from the beer festival that night was a bit much, but understandable.
Casual and nice. Personable Manager who invited us to come again.
Great food and service. Definitely going back!
Anniversary was spent here and it was amazing. From service to food
I had capreze and shurinp pasta. Taste were not good.
I did not taste umami of these foods .
Very authentic Italian cuisine. Meal prep took a little longer than would be expected for what we ordered. But once it arrived it was excellent.
I liked the place a bit small, the entrance offered bread with an olive oil and balsamic vinegar, (which I exchanged for garlic and spices) the pasta with seafood very rich lasagna too!
Food Was ok but bacon wrapped Shrimp was burned. The Open Table site should not show special applies at 7 pm which Restaurant refuses to honor.
Will be back soon!
Beautiful food and location. We went last time we visited Hawaii from Aus and had to go again. It was a perfect first night back in this beautiful place :)
As usual the food, cocktails and service is amazing! I will definitely keep bringing family and friends for them to enjoy as well.
The apertizer, Cesar salad was sad, only lots of salad with dressing, and a few bites of some kind of chicken-sausage which didnt taste good. The main Pasta dish, lasagna and fettucini Alfredo were good, but not fantastic. Dessert was creme brulee, which was just ok. Nice place, very good service and no noisy music. :-)
Wonderful service, wonderful food, very attentive to a severe allergy! Will go back!
Have been coming to Hilton for 20 years. Always end up having a favorite restaurant. This year was Frescos. Good menu. Great food. Prices are actually good considering location. I just discoved that they have a Happy Hour. Bottled bud lites for $4...not a bad deal. Rib eye is a solid dinner and everything we tried was on point. Our Hilton Passport also got us 15% off which made Fresos a great deal. Dined inside and out. Inside is fancier.
Food was good. Service was terrible. We had early dinner reservation and they run a BOGO special during that time. The server never mentioned it and I saw it on the way out after we paid. Their response..we don’t mention it unless you see the sign. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, yet the service was incredibly slow
I don’t remember the servers name, but he was great. Very friendly. All of our food came out insanely fast. I don’t even know how it was possible, but I’m not complaining. We had drinks also inside and the bartenders were great too. Our waiter gave us a desert too as a surprise, not sure if he knew we were on our honeymoon, but that was a nice added surprise.
Great restaurant. When we come to Waikiki, it is always a date night out!
Overall a solid meh. Server recommended the 'house salad' and said it was large enough to share. Tiny salad that had been sitting out for a day or so was brought. We live here and get the difficulty with getting really fresh veggies, but come on, at least try. $12 for a handful of greens and about an ounce of dry tasteless pear, and it was underdressed. Entree was decent, but tiny for the price. I had the carbonara which I expected greatness and got a mushy pile of flavorless pasta with a couple chunks of costco bacon bits scattered in - no idea where the egg was, but it wasn't in the pasta. Only saving grace was the bottle of wine was good.
Food was fantastic and menu had a variety of Italian classics. Drink selection was good. Our waiter suggested the 3-course menu and it was delicious!
We sat outside which was really nice however the food was just ok. We got a trio of bruschetta, the one with tomatoes was too watery and the one with mushrooms, mushrooms were hard and tasteless (don’t remember the third one). We ordered the fish of the day which was swordfish but It was kind of over cooked over asparagus that were hard and didn’t taste really good and orzo pasta that was just too much. The mushroom risotto was decent and the pasta alla bolognese for my little one was good. We are Italian and we were expecting a little more quality of the food.
The food was lackluster. Vegetable pasta had no discernible seasoning or taste at all. Bruschetta appetizer was soggy. Filet and garlic shrimp was tasty, but the portion was small. Fish of the day was average. Service was friendly and attentive. Outdoor dining was pleasant.
Service was great but food was just ok and overpriced. The mango cheesecake was the best part of dinner
The service was not in line with the pricing of the meal. The food was tasteless.
Michael, our server, was efficient and friendly. He was our same server a year ago when we visited Fresco’s. Noise level a bit high, mainly due to a table nearby with two children screaming for no apparent reason and the parents chose to allow it until one of the servers said something. Food quality was great and the portions we’re sufficient. Nice place to visit for any occasion.
To be fair, I understand why the prices are high, is because of the area and the clientele they are surrounded by. But the price doesn’t match the food at all. I will give you a few of my bad experiences that all happened in one night. To begin, the wine menu dose not match what they have in stock. Second, I ordered an appetizer that was called “the chef selection of cheese” and it will not take to long to a person that goes to restaurants often to see that this was plain old supermarket cheese. I even got four pieces of the wax part end of the cheese on my plate. Presentation was awful also. When I finally get my steak, the amount of fat that was not trimmed prior cooking was disgusting. Let’s say you would clean a steak better at home that the dedication and care this steak was given at this restaurant. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone that is looking for a real Italian experience.
From the setting, to the food, to the service, everything was outstanding. The restaurant was very clean, chairs were comfortable, and the ambiance was lovely. We sat right next to a window by the lagoon and could see parts of the firework show. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and willing to work with a picky eater to customize a dish, gave suggestions and recommendations, and was extremely personable. All of the dishes, including apps and a dessert, were extremely fresh and delicious. Highly recommend, and will be back next time we’re in Waikiki.
