Nice creative french cuisine! Bread is delicious, very friendly service!
Easter brunch was terrific.
WE ENJOYED THE PERSONAL ATTENTION EDITH, THE CHEF OWNER PROVIDED. THE RACK OF LAMB WAS EXCEPTIONAL, AS WERE THE DESERTS.
Service was excellent. They explained the dishes & suggested the wine. Everything from the appetizers to the desert was excellent.
Cant wait to return.
We heard about Frencys Table on Lisa Petrillos segment on the news. We were not disappointed. Food is amazing we had a great time and met very nice people. The owner chef Edith is amazing. Definitely worth the ride.
We saw the segment on channel 4 news with Lisa Patrillo and thought we would try it when we arrived the pregnant waitress seated us and we thought the place was a little small and tight but thought we would try it out the owner came out after we ordered and thanked us for trying her place out when we told her we saw it on channel 4 new she said oh ok
The quality of the meat & produce used in our meal was outstanding. House wine was surprisingly good as well. Service was very attentive. I felt the deserts were underwhelming however. Tables really close together & of course you have to pay for parking in this area. The quality & price charged is enough to make me plan to return.
This is authentic French cuisine, perfectly executed. Classic flavours, great ingredients, nicely plated. We had the early-bird 'prix fixe' special: she had fresh cod, grilled with a butter and capers sauce; he had chicken roulade with a meat stuffing and mushroom sauce. Both came with green beans tied with a string. The appetizers, respectively, were: green salad and cream of broccoli soup. The dessert: what else? Crème brûlée, made in-house. All for $22 each (not including the wine). If we lived here, we'd be dining weekly at Frenchy's Table, without question.
A great dinner-attentive service from both waitress and chef, everything we ordered was delicious and nicely presented. We had escargot, beef bourginion, and salmon with muscles sauce. The prix fixe menu was reasonable price wise, and facilitated a nice sampling. We'll be back!
I think we may have hit this nice little bistro on an off night. We arrived around 7:45 on a Tuesday evening. There was only one server - and she had 4 or 5 tables to attend. It took at least 20 minutes to get a beverage, they ran out of bread and had to heat up more, and the food took a very long time to arrive. Part of that is that the chef takes care with each dish - and she was probably quite busy in the back.
Their menu options are limited, but interesting. Each of us ordered an appetizer - three selected brie en croute and I chose puff pastry with a vegetable filling. After we placed our order the server came back to tell us that there was no brie en croute available anymore,.So we asked for the beet salad that was on the specials board. Unfortunately, that too was unavailable. So, one of the guys ordered the french onion soup for an up charge , and the others ordered regular sald.
The veggie pastry was ample, but uninspired.
The entrees were met with mixed reviews. The trout amandine was underseasoned and neither of the diners was thrilled. On the other hand, MY scallops with beurre blanc were outstanding! Perfectly seared and cooked beautifully. Very fresh and sweet.
We didn't order dessert - but they gave us chocolate covered raisins which was a nice surprise.
Overall - the food didn't do it for us on this trip. I wouldn't write it off, and I would be willing to give it another try some time. But, won't make a special trip to go there.
Great place for a date, or a get-together where conversation is a focus of the evening. Beautiful setting, comfortable seating. Food was excellent, as was the service. Food is made fresh, so plan for the needed time for a special meal (2+ hours on a weekend night). On-site owner and staff are all friendly. Pricing is quite reasonable. We anticipate being back soon.
Haven eaten there when the place was called Sea not much has changed. The décor has improved but the menu is basically the same. They do a two or three course fixed price menu. Seafood seems to be their specialty and it is advertised as fresh never frozen. We started with a pate basket that was quite good. I followed with the French Onion Soup which was by far the best I had had in a long time and my companion opted for the escargot which were quite large and delicious. We both had fish. He had the snapper which said a tomato beurre blanc but was just a beurre blanc saunce. It was good. I had the grouper with a similar sauce with mussels. Perfectly cooked. We both had the chocolate mousse and it was just ok. We would recommend this restaurant.
Wow! Awesome find. What a lovely restaurant, with incredibly authentic French food. Every item was better than the previous dish.
Food was excellent we enjoyed the evening , good value as well.
The menu was very nice and everything we had tasted great! The wait staff was friendly and helpful!
Had planned to reserve at previous restaurant at this location to take visiting friend. When made reservation saw new name, cuisine, & chef. Took a chance & glad I did. Food & relaxed atmosphere outstanding. Service excellent & chef came by mid-point to say hi & confirm we were happy. Everything was great. I love little "hole in the wall" unexpected places that surprise me. I took more friends back a week later. They too were thrilled to find this treasure of a restaurant. The food was DELICIOUS!
Excellent food and service. Would highly recommend.
Eating at Frenchy's is like having a good friend make a perfect dinner for you! The food was amazing as well as the service! Everything was perfect for our evening! Thank you for a memorable Anniversary dinner celebration!!!!
Great small restaurant. Not large menu, but all dishes are so good. Very homey atmosphere
Edith brings a very warm, welcoming personal touch to her cozy little gem. Daily specials are always a tasty touch.
We have trouble getting beyond the scallops and fish specials but given the preparation and presentation of our favorites I can give perfect assurance you will be pleased with all of her offerings.
No rush here, time is something you must leave behind for a truly remarkable dinning experience.
my wife and I found this GEM few months back. owner makes you feel so welcomed. outstanding food/service
Amazing food prepared with class and love
A delightful dinner. Many emu options. Everything was delicious and the chef is delightful! We sat outside. A lovely evening so traffic noise is evident but no too bad.
This restaurant is a real gem. Fabulous food prepared by the French owner and chef. Very low noise level and wonderful ambiance. We are returning for another occasion.
The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal - and the service was excellent. I will definitely return.
Excellent food, excellent staff and a wonderfully small venue.
Valentine's Day date at a French restaurant : naturally the restaurant is crowded and service a bit unlike what one would typically receive on a non special day.
Therefore service a bit slow, ex. no bread on table for 15-20 minutes, long wait for appetizer to be served, no gift given at end by owner ( other tables received a thank you gift upon paying bill).
But the food is quite good and there are not many French restaurants in Broward.
A bit noisy and no music or such in background; constant apologies for delays....
we went for valentines day so it was very busy and a limited menu, yet the host and servers were very gracious and helped to make it a special night. The food, Lamb Chops and Scallops were excellent! Parking is a little problem, but worth the hassle.
2nd time at Frenchy's...this time for Valentine's. Always spectacular....although I did miss the full menu due to the holiday. However, great excuse to go back. Fantastic!!!
Arrived for Valentine's Day. It was pretty busy and noticed how small and completely packed together the tables were. I would have left since you are practically on the lap of the person next to you...not the most romantic way to spend the evening. I had a Groupon so we stayed. It never mentioned ANYWHERE that they would not be honoring the Groupon due to a holiday of any kind. When I presented the Groupon, the owner was very rude and told me, "You will just have to come back! I will NOT be accepting that!" I explained that it didn't say that anywhere. She agreed but didn't care. I am local and will never return. There are way too many other places to go to that offer amazing customer service and delicious food. This place had neither. Take a pass and go to Le Bistro for a lovely intimate atmosphere with wonderful food and owners.
Went for Valentine's Day and enjoyed a prix fixe menu offering 3 courses for $75 with a complimentary glass of Champagne. Our server was very accommodating and delightful. Kudos to the chef for excellent execution of French cuisine yet healthful veges, crunchy rather than mushy, all served hot. Restaurant is small so they set up tables in front complete with white tablecloths and comfortable chairs. Enjoyed a leisurely and lovely dinner.
a good, very good discovery
a true french cuisine, best of cuisine when we travel in france
fresh products, good for eyes taste and....travel in florida
One word - excellent. You don't have to fly all the way to France to find the exact taste!
Escargot....Champagne....and Aznavour in a small but modernly decorated ambiance. One can't ask for much more. Most importantly, the entrees were seriously just amazing...didn't expect 5-star gourmet cuisine in a strip-mall setting. We will be back.
the food was great, our seat was in the air condioning line of fire... It became cold on the neck and back until i asked the waitress to turn it down which she did...
We loved the food, it was first class and the costs were just right..
LOVED IT! The owner took our order and kissed us on both cheeks when we left. The food was authentic, French, home style dishes. We enjoyed snapper and beef stew for entrees, a phenomenal escargot appetizer, and bread pudding for dessert. Couldn't have been a more charming or delicious experience.
This was a last minute reservation for New Year''s eve. What a pleasant surprise. The food was outstanding and the service exceptional. It is a very cozy restaurant that makes you feel you're in France It's on our list of "must return" places.
Great Christmas Day dinner!
I love this restaurant. Having spent much time in France, the cuisine reminds me of dinners with French friends in their homes. The dishes are authentic and well prepared, especially the duck breast, escargot, beef bourguignon, onion soup, and chocolate mousse. It is a small intimate restaurant. The owner is very charming and welcoming. There are daily specials. I have not had lunch there yet.
We had not been to this restaurant since it changed names to Frenchy's. The food was surprisingly good. The staff was terrific and the owner was fabulous. It was great also to have lovely music in the background. They were doing a winetasting outside at the curb and the door was open to where we sat inside. The only negative was people were smoking outside and the cigarette smoke smell was inside the restaurant. Perhaps the door should be closed. We will return it was very Nice. Thank you
