First time visiting Frenchie and enjoyed it tremendously. Split an escargot toast appetizer - very good. Duck breast perfectly cooked with crispy skin. Fantastic bottle of bordeaux. Only quibble was olive oil cake seemed a bit overdone.

We arrived at an empty restaurant and the manager and ataff dithered for quite some time about where we should sit, despite the fact that it was a special occasion and we had booked two months in advance. The food was very good. They were out of some of their wines. When asked her opinion about options on the menu, the waitress repeatedly said they were all her favorites. They brought us the check relatively urgently after we ate dessert.

Went for brunch! Average food, order kept getting messed up at our table and others. The coffee was great though and it is super cute, we sat in the greenhouse.

Au Bon Pain is more french than this place! How can you accept a reservation and when you seat down the wait staff tells us we have 5 min to order because the kitchen is closing! Nothing about our meal was tasteful!

From the moment we stepped inside it was magic. The service, the atrium with the beautiful lights and view of a winter garden. The wine was delicious, our cheese board was a generous amount for the two of us. CANNOT wait to go back! Thank you Frenchie, keep doing what you're doing!

The food was wonderful. We had the cheese board and the steak tar tar. Would 100% recommend both. For our entrees we had the steak and frites (steak cooked beautifully and the fries were crispy and pillowy) and the chicken breast. We ordered fingerling potatoes on the side. The chicken was cooked perfect, very tender and juicy but still a crispy skin. They had a mocktail option which was nice for those of us that don’t drink. We finished our meal off with a crème brûlée and the Nutella mousse. Great experience, Andrea was so kind and gave us good recommendations!

Went there for valentines dinner. When asked online if I wanted to make a valentines reservation or a normal reservation I chose normal. Turns out the restaurant was only serving the 80$ per person menu. The appetisers were mediocre at best and the main courses were good, not 80$ worth. The menu also mentioned “Draft” beer but there was no beers on draft it’s only by the can. All of them. Once I found out draft beer wasn’t from the draft I asked for a whiskey, they didn’t have any but they had old fashioned pre-made. For any restaurant I wouldn’t mind that but I had just payed 160$ and not having any of that was a bit odd.

Frenchie is a small restaurant located in the South End with a great ambiance. We visited to see what the hype was about. We ordered bread and butter. French bread has a bit of a crunch to it, the french bread served to us was harder than a stone. I ordered the Housemade Cavatelli Pasta and thought it was average. The housemade pasta itself was delicious; however, I felt the flavors did not excite the taste palates of my tongue.

It's remarkable what the chefs create in such a tiny kitchen! My husband's duck was delicious - he would order it again. The cavatelli was very nice, but I'd try something else next time. The prices are on the higher side, so I could only go from time to time, although it would be an ideal neighborhood go-to place if it was a little less dear. If you are an IPA drinker, only one choice. But I have a feeling if you're a wine drinker, there are lots of nice choices.

Really cute - ambience was just what we were looking for in a Sunday brunch friend catch up. Drinks were delicious - good foam on our espresso martinis( which is a good sign ). Started with charcuterie board which was really good and great for sharing . Server was friendly , attentive and gave suggestions . Food came and unfortunately it was just … ok . Not a ton of flavor and texture of crepes seemed a little off . I’ll come back for charcuterie , oysters and drinks in acute space .

Food is outstanding as usual. One of us ordered the avocado toast and was a little sad - the amount of avocado was wrong, the paste didn’t look appetizing, and the portion was extremely small. Not at all the quality that was delivered with the rest of dishes.

Very overpriced. Cute vibe and friendly service, but way overpriced. Went for brunch. We ordered the avocado toast for $14, which ended up being one piece of normal size bread, toasted, which a light coating of avocado. I also order two Shirley temples (a non-alcoholic drink) for which I was charged $8 each. Way overpriced. Would not recommend for that reason.

At first, I loved Frenchie Wine Bistro and then I hated it and will never return but for others, I am leaving a 5 star review because it was kinda worth the 5 stars. New Year's Eve dinner for 3, bottle of Vueve Cliquot which was warm so it needed 10 minutes to chill, no big deal. Our waiter, Frank, was awesome. He came back with it, tried to open it but it bubbled, still warm. A little while later we started to enjoy our Champagne. The prix fixe menu was perfect, great choices and the three of us at the table all chose different items for all the courses. Very nice and well thought out. Love the food. Where did they go wrong? The add on percentage for the kitchen staff. I don't care if it's 3% or a straight fee, it's not my choice, like ordering the food on the menu is, like ordering a bottle of champagne is, like the percentage I tip the waiter (which is always generous) but it's not my choice. It just appears on the bill. Welcome to 2023 here's a surcharge, a tax an involuntary option for you in the new year! Yes, I am pretty sure I could have spoken to a manger on the holiday night of New Years Eve and had it removed. I am sure it's something people do and maybe they remove it but I've decided , much like hotels that charge a nightly resort fee, that I will not return. No matter how great the food was, the service or the warm bottle of champagne I just can't do it. There's plenty of other epic places to dine and stay. I can't find it even mentioned on their website which I've perused extensively. My trip to France next month was not going to be complete without staying or at least visiting their family hotel and restaurant. Not so sure now. They might charge me a fee to eat there too

This establishment is all hype. It's like McDonald's for the untrained palate. #1 the New Year's menus disappointing to be fair. Authentic French cuisine is robust full of flavors and delicately arranged on your plate like a work of art. The portions were very small tasteless morsels. #2 The waitress was very pushy( Sorry but you must eat and run) #3 I did not leave a tip(so I thought). The following day I reviewed my statement online and it appears the waitress added her own tip after I checked out. If you appreciate French flair then frenchie is not for you
