Sat outside which is always quieter. Noisy inside. Good was great and our waitress was lovely.

My wife and I have lunch at the French Roast almost every week. The food has never disappointed us and is of high quality. The portions are generous and the service is skilled and friendly.

Food was excellent! Had the hanger steak special and it was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. Drinks and desserts were also great. Overall it was a fantastic dining experience and can’t wait to go back.

Good! The restaurant was very accommodating with my reservations when we were running late from the train. Good food and nice drinks, however I thought service was a lil slow (ie. Ordered mimosas before our food, received them only after everyone was done eating) but overall the place was cute! Would go again.

French Roast is our go to restaurant for great food, prompt service and lively atmosphere. A truly neighborhood gem. Highly recommend.

It was really noisy when we arrived at 7:00, but it started clearing out halfway through our delicious meal, until it was fine. The food was great: escargots with bits of crispy pastry, pork tenderloin with parsnip puree, cassoulet, liver pate and the a wonderful brownie with coconut ice cream. I had to take home some pork due to the generous portion.
