I love this place. Great, simple food with fresh and original presentation. It’s a little gem of a restaurant hidden away in a historic 1920s building. Not to be missed. I’ve only gone for lunch/brunch so I can’t comment on dinners.

French Miso is a quiet delight in a nook just off the original Plaza in downtown Palm Springs. Always something new and deliscious on the menu and my old favorite Eggs Benedict. The private outdoor garden court and the most gracious host and waitress staff make it a gentle pleasure.

The restaurant was very nicely decorated, the food was delicious, and the owner and staff were very attentive and friendly. We came here for lunch, and will definite try to go for dinner the next time we are in Palm Springs.

Absolutely amazing service and food! I ordered the herb omelet and my husband, the French miso toast. I would order the same dishes again but also try new ones! So so so good. The owners are beyond sweet and attentive and so are the servers. The only reason I give ambiance 4 stars and not 5 is because we would’ve loved to hear some quiet background music in the outdoor dining area. Maybe some French or Japanese cafe sort of music. Other than that, it was a beautiful experience. Would highly recommend!

It’s always a pleasure to eat at French Miso Cafe! Warm welcomes await you and sitting in the outdoor garden is like a trip to France. The food is skillfully prepared at every meal, and you’ll never be disappointed. Eric is a friendly, professional server - though everyone here is the same. Miso Cafe is a real treasure!

A nice hidden gem in P.S. where French cooking with Japanese twist. Their bento box lunch special with salmon, vegi, tofu, miso soup, and rice reminds me breakfast at Japanese onsen (hot spring inns).

I love this restaurant, but last night there must have been a different Chef preparing the food. The dishes, although I ordered them before, were prepared differently and didn't taste as good. We ordered our steak med-rare and it came out well done. After having it re-done, it came back very rare. It had to be sent back again... Our waitress was very apologetic, but it was frustrating because all my experiences before were so great here. I hope that this was just a one time occurrence. I really loved my previous visits.

Fantastic food at every visit , brunch or dinner. The dining room is lovely on hot days and the bougainvillea filled patio is joyful when the weather is nice. Love that they take reservations for mornings . No standing in long lines like other nearby restaurants. Quiche is wonderful . Lattes and cappuccinos are fantastic.

Cute romantic place tucked away from the tourist chaos. We enjoyed dinner, especially the mussel first course, which is absolutely delicious (quality mussels and a tasty sauce)

A beautiful restaurant tucked away from the busy Palm Springs downtown. Food was superb, ambience quaint and perfect for dinner conversations and celebrations. Service was very friendly and very attentive. We feel like we have discovered a secret find in Palm Springs and we shall be back.

We had the Japanese breakfast bento for Mother's Day brunch. Delicious and authentic, only thing missing was the raw egg and shoyu. We also enjoyed the matcha lemonade, an interesting combo of sweet, tart and bitter. We'll definitely be back to try the French dishes next time.
