Excellent food and service. We had a larger group and needed to add 2 more on short notice, they were able to make that happen. Would return again if in the area.

For the price, it was just ok. We got the braised buffalo short ribs. They were good, very tender. And we got the 18 oz salt block ribeye. The steak was under seasoned and not worth the $70 price tag. It was a good restaurant, but not up to what we had heard.

The ambiance was lovely. Food was well presented and start to finish, the best meal we’ve had in Whitefish/ Kalispell. The wedge salad was a meal in itself; oversized and easily feeds 2 people. The Himalayan salt ribeye was delicious; didn’t even require additional sauce. The halibut special with shrimp risotto was large portion and seared perfectly. The finale was warm Jameson bread pudding and we substituted vanilla for huckleberry ice cream - heaven. Our server Colin was wonderful. He was the perfect balance of attentiveness while not hovering. He was professional and friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and went the extra mile with suggestions for hikes and other local activities.

The finest dining in Kalispell. Quality of the food is second to none. Well managed, and an extremely professional serving staff. Kaitlyn and Collin are top shelf! If you are looking for a truly great dining experience for entertaining or even a quiet meal by yourself, Freestone will not disappoint.

Great food and great service !! Steak on the salt block was awesome. Lobster Mac and burger also were yummy ! Definitely will enjoy another meal there again !

Salmon was completely overcooked, vegetables were cold. Very overpriced. Extremely disappointing.

Excellent oysters, wedge salad, and short ribs (my wife and I were able to split all three and that was plenty of food. Seghesio Zinfandel well priced by the bottle. (They should also serve it by the glass.) Nice relaxing atmosphere with a fireplace. Excellent service by our young waiter.
