Freehouse Beer is brewed onsite at our brewery. Come in, enjoy some breakfast, lunch, dinner or late night and raise your glass and enjoy a little taste of freedom with us here at Freehouse.
During the warmer months, our patio is dog friendly. So bring your furry friends to dine with you!
Always a great location to get together. Great pear martini!
It was great! I wished the special soup of the day wasn’t ONLY included in the Valentine’s special, but otherwise the food was phenomenal as always. I will say: I still really miss the pumpkin curry mussels. Those were the best I’ve ever had. My parents used to drive from Milwaukee to come and get some.
Everything was great. Wish they had sticker so I could add to my collection of brewery places That I have been too.
We had a lovely time! Had a table situated with only one other table next to us, so we were able to hear well. The whole dining experience was excellent, food and service. Loved the booth. Was comfy and ambiance was great. Our four visit but our guests very first. They were pleased with our restaurant choice.
Would like to tryout your outdoor winter private dining tables in the future, they are intriguing and would be a fun experience.
Fabulous service and amazing food. I appreciate how well they worked with my very large party on Valentine's Day. These guys are all pro! We were celebrating a milestone in my career and you really helped make it special by your flexibility with my guest's arrival and your attention to service and awesome food!
I had breakfast for dinner and it was great - was in a group of 18 people and everyone said great things - and I appreciate how accommodating you were to our large group
Love the buffalo tofu. Never disappoints.
Luke warm bread pudding with cold apples for dessert and my husband was lackluster about his burger. Sharing to help. Love Freehoise!
Roto bird with broccoli and smashed potatoes. Everything was very rich and satisfying.
Honestly don't know if I'll be coming back. Three friends and I came for dinner & drinks on Saturday night. One of my friends received her drink with several lipstick marks on the rim and our server graciously brought a replacement. Another received what was supposed to be a salad with rotisserie chicken, but was instead looked to be dark chicken remains and skin. Our server brought it back to the kitchen to have the meat replaced.
Lastly, we weren't given any silverware sets and when we asked a food runner for some he brought us four forks, so we had to bother our server AGAIN to get a full set/napkin.
None of it was enough to ruin our night by any means, but it was pretty irritating to feel guilty to have to ask for the bare minimum all evening. All that being said, my kale salad was delicious.
Food is always delicious and well presented. Menu has a good variety. Servers and host are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. One of my favorite restaurants!
Been to Freehouse many times. Always have great food, drinks paired with great service.
Good menu selection for both breakfast and lunch, very good service, nice food presentation and tasty fare, going back forsure.
Been here several times. Food always delicious.
I have been to the Freehouse many times. I have always enjoyed the food, and did again tonight-had the hash and it was awesome! I'm so happy that there is a public parking ramp nearby now, which makes it far easier to go there!
Very good food. Everyone enjoyed their dinners. Service got "lost" a little bit. Initially very good and then forgotten about. But overall, would go again!
Great service, great food, one of my favorites!
It was great! Freehouse is a go to spot for good food and fun cocktails for our group. Jill was honest and fun and a great server!
Always great beer. Best brussel sprouts in the world and super good chicken wings. Only con is very loud when you want to talk. Our server had a hard time hearing and got our drink order wrong twice. She also wasn't too attentive but not bad service. Just expected more personable service from this type of place.
Even with a reservation we waited over 30 min for our table .
Took friends out for holiday gift. The environment was very active and fun. We sat in booths and could hear each other while enjoying the busyness around us. Food and drinks were great!
The food was and always is great. Fun atmosphere. But.....I don't like your 3% wellness tax. I deal with restauarants and most feel it should come out of your bottom line; you don't charge your customers for your employees health insurance!
This was my fourth time dining at Freehouse, and unfortunately it was my worst experience. Our service was outstanding, as usual. It was the food that I had an issue with this time. We ordered the brussel sprout appetizer, and this time they were a bit overdone and burnt. I also upgraded to the truffle fries with my sandwich and this time they were cold and pretty tasteless. We had the bread pudding for dessert, since we really enjoyed it the last time that we ordered it, and this time it wasn't as good. There was too much of what tasted like nutmeg in it. Luckily my other three experiences at Freehouse have been exceptional, so I am just going to chalk this experience up to an off day.
We had a ladies night dinner and the food is making me drool thinking of it! Highly recommend it for any occasion!
Service was great. Others at my table liked their food, I just didn’t like my avocado toast. Expected chunkier avocado, but it was just a thin spread. Eggs had no seasoning either.
Bloody was delicious, though!!
I made a reservation for 7:45 PM but was not seated until 8:30 PM. We arrived at the restaurant 5 minutes early and was told our reservation was seated with a different group of people. Even though we made a reservation we ended up waiting just as long as people who did not. Confused as to why we used open table to make a reservation that was not honored.
Pork and pappardelle was amazing!
We have eaten here a number of times & have always had a decent experience. However this last time, the food was really of very poor quality & when we mentioned it to both our server as well as the manager the response was “well you ate it”. We couldn’t believe the response we received & would probably not go back here to eat (there’s too many good restaurants out there to come back for this type of food & service).
tried to get a reservation for 8 and when we got there they said we could not get a table but then there were tables open so we had to split up our group. Waitress was awesome but the host was not workable...dark hair girl wasn't having it.
We went here for christmas day dinner! Everything there was amazing and i love that it is all farm to table! Will definitely be coming back!
I confirmed several times on the phone and in person about my sons birthday to bring a desert with a candle after dinner. It was his 25th and we were with family to celebrate.
When I arrived I asked again to be sure they had it on the reservation and was assured it was taken care of. After dinner the waitress brought the check and walked away. I killed time for 20 minutes waiting for her to come back with desert, she never did, then I tried to get her attention and even wrote a note on a napkin hoping she would come by so I could wave at her or better yet she would stop at the table which she never did. What a huge disappointment!
Freehouse is a good place to go if you want good food and good service! The portion sizes are hearty. The brussel sprout appetizer and truffle fries are amazing. I highly recommend the bread pudding dessert, IF you have room left for it. Freehouse also has a good, and unique, selection of beers and cocktails.
Aside from not finding our reservation when we arrived, everything was good.
Amazing as always!
Really good time and food. Brussels sprouts appetizer was verrrry good (honey? Great idea actually!), and the Steak/Pierogies and Ribeye were both tasty! I believe our server’s name was Frannie. She was very attentive and friendly! The only knocks on the place I have are the noise level (but hey, it’s the warehouse district so I knew for what I was signing up), and the variation in cocktail quality. We ordered the Mule Variations (nice Tom Waits pull btw), and the first was all right. Then we ordered a second round, and the drink not only tasted vastly different (specifically better), but it was also presented in full with the stated-on-the-menu garnish. Both rounds were fine, but consistency is where it’s at if you want to serve top flight cocktails, even if the place is jumpin’ on a Saturday night. Would go again!
Pretty loud and busy but the food didn’t take too long. Not the best place in town if you’re just trying to get a bite to eat with a date. Still would go back though.
I was rather disappointed as we order an app and then dinner. Our dinner came out not even 10 minutes after our app so our food got cold while we tried to quickly eat our app.
We went on a Saturday night with another couple before a show and it exceeded our expectations. Everyone of us was very impressed with everything we ordered. It was so good we came back for breakfast and got the pesto Gnocchi with poached egg (weird right?) it was incredible! Definitely will be going back
in our group of 8 everyone loved their meal. service very good, even though it was a busy sat. night.
made our reservation thru open table. Had 5 contacts to confirm we were coming in the 24hr before.
this is too many. once & a reminder would be fine, not 5 times.
will come again.
we found out the hard way that parking is terrible, use valet.
Great Food. Even better waiters/waitresses. Place is Bomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
