Great service and atmosphere. Smoked cocktails are awesome
Sat at the bar for happy hour and stayed for dinner. Had a nice conversation with the bartender, and the whole staff was extremely friendly. Enjoyed an amazing fried chicken sandwich.
A great burger is the sign of a great restaurant, and the Freebird burger was great.
George sat us at our table and he was kind, but more than just kind-he was so very funny and made us giggle. Great food and drinks, and service too!
Went for brunch, while everything on the menu sounded great the french toast was right up my alley, so that's what I ordered and was not disappointed. Despite the large brunch crowd, the service was attentive and friendly. Brunch at Freebird is a lot of fun.
Unfortunately it took an hour for us to receive our food. When we asked about it no one came back to let us know when to expect it. It wasn't until we asked for the check did someone come over to let us know it was coming. It was cold and unfortunately the friend chicken was too dry.
Our table was ignored multiple times. We had no designated waiter and the bus boy had to help us get out orders and refills in. I asked during the reservation making that a birthday dessert be brought out and it never was.
We had a great time and the food was very good. I would recommend this to everyone looking for a place to eat.
I’m not sure if the restaurant was understaffed, but the service was quite terrible. Our waiter walked by our table multiple times and didn’t even make eye contact with us. Water service stopped about halfway through. We had to ask four different people for a dessert menu and for our check, which took 20+ minutes to receive. We were there for almost 4 hours when we could’ve left after 2/2.5 hours. The restaurant wasn’t even super busy as they were empty tables all around us so we’re not sure what the issue is. When we told the manager, he didn’t even respond and I just walked away with her credit cards to pay the bill. It was a strange experience.
This place was outstanding from the minute we walked in to minute we left. Very helpful workers. Great atmosphere. Delish food. I can't wait to come back
Good food a vibe
Great service, food and ambiance! Highly recommend!
Sometimes you get a hankering for your favorite dish at one of your go to spots, and in those moments consistency is key. Freebird has yet to disappoint, their Shrimp N' Grits hits the spot every time.
First time on the rooftop, great laid back vibes, perfect for a chill night out.
This place was very nice and I had such a good time. They didn’t rush us at all. The waiter was a little dry in the beginning but instantly warmed up and the whole entire staff was amazing. They made us feel at home. And they checked on us and always made us feel valued. Certainly can’t wait to come back. Next time I hope to be on the rooftop
When I need to satisfy my need for southern staples (fried chicken, pulled pork, ribs etc) I always go to freebird.
This was the best meal out I've had in a long time. The shrimp and grits were beyond amazing, and the service was awesome. Thank you Freebird!
THE DEVILED EGGS AND PIMIENTO CHEESBURGER ARE BACK!!!!!!! Best news all year
Gets the job done, but that’s about it. If I want some hot chicken I’ll go somewhere else.
Had a good time for Sunday brunch…food was good and waitress attentive…blueberry vodka lemonade was a hit…shrimp and grits too greasy but big boy chicken sandwich was good as were the fries and grits…will definitely go again.
The waiter was very nice but the kitchen was “backed up “. We put in our order and sat for an hour before the food was delivered. Then the food was not very good. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Dinner up on the outside patio was great on a beautiful fall evening. We were unfortunately seated next to a large group of children which made for a tough environment for dinner. Service was great as everyone helped out on all the tables.
Chicken sandwich was a good choice!
A nice change from all the restaurants in the area. Nice ambiance and good comfort food. I will return to this restaurant to try the rooftop.
The service was outstanding, the food was great and our server Sam did an excellent job in making our celebration a success.
Was here during a major storm, glad they were open. The food was really good, and the service seemed personalized.
5 Our of 5 Stars for Freebird. Delicious meal, great upbeat atmosphere.
Came for happy hour, and we had a wonderful time. You MUST try the oysters.
Great atmosphere, food and service. Had a smoked drink for the first time and it was smooth and delicious with a cool presentation
We were rushed from the beginning. Staff needs to learn how to pace things. Food was ok, not great. Not going back as there are many other options in the area.
Great service great food lovely staff I can’t wait to go back!!!
We went for brunch, I ordered the brisket and eggs. I did not like it at all, it was bland and the meat was super dry. We ordered other dishes that were ok. Drinks were ok. Not the best for me.
Overall very nice place, great food and vibe. Would definitely recommend
Love the Fried Pickles and Mac & Cheese — this time I had the Shrimp & Grits — delicious
We made a reservation for the rooftop, but the heat was a bit oppressive so we requested to move our table downstairs. The sweet hostess was so accommodating, walking us to our table in the dining room and AC. Everything sounded so good, we decided to share our entrees between the three of us. The favorite among us was Shrimp and Grits.
went for a bday brunch - the food was very good . Our waitress disappeared after she took our order … we did have a question or 2 but by the time someone came back it was with our meal so we just moved on.
The managers or owners came around mostly towards the end asked how was everything but didn’t really wait for a response. But the food and atmosphere was pretty good - so I will give it another try .
Pros: Friendly Staff
Awesome fried pickles & fried chicken
Cons: I didn't find this place sooner
Delicious dinner of fried chicken and the spicy rigatoni. We were very happy with our meals and service. The smoked drinks were really good too
The food was good but the service so slow and inattentive- we had a 6:30 reservation
and waited over an hour for main course. Waffles and potatoes were cold.
Hard to get anyone’s attention
Not a pleasant dining experience
I was truly disappointed with the cake cutting free… $3 per slice which I find ridiculous. The food wasn’t what I expects either. We waited quite a while as well for the food since they fired their head chef.
The hostess that seated us was professional and we were seated almost immediately when we arrived. The food was very good although a little pricey, especially the $9.00 "biscuit and gravy that my husband ordered (notice I said "biscuit" he only got one biscuit. They only put gravy on one side of the biscuit BUT our server accommodated us and bought out a little more gravy for the other side of his biscuit. We had to wait quite a while for someone to ask what we wanted to drink and the wait for our food was long. My husband and I loved the ambiance and decor. I was a little nervous about where we were seated because the tables were less than 5 feet apart and some people were wearing mask and some were not. Overall we had a good experience.
