Perfectly seasoned meat sauce, Italian sausage, and a blend of imported cheeses.
Bone- in chicken simmered with bell peppers, sweet onions, cremini mushrooms and Chianti in a rich tomato sauce with garlic, herbs and served with grilled herb potatoes.
Crispy calamari tossed with sliced sweet or hot cherry peppers.
First, we were seated for quite sometime before anyone came to our table. Service was horrible. I had to stop our server to ask for things because she never came to our table. The restaurant was small, and there were at least 3 other servers, somI do not believe they were under staffed. I ordered the veal parmesan. My food was floating in a plate of water that I had to soak up. My food therefore then tasted "watered down". The veal was tough and the breading just fell off. I was expecting much better food and a much better experience. If ever back to Charleston, I definitely would not go back!
Great food and outstanding service.
good variety on the menu, nice wine selections, a bit dark with lighting
Had shrimp scampi, caesar salad and both were great. Ashley is a great waitress
We really enjoyed this place and will return. There were some bumps in the road but they were all handled to our satisfaction. I would have given more stars to the food except the chicken parm was burnt when it was brought to the table. I do have to say they replaced that dish and the new one they brought was excellent but the first one should not have left the kitchen. Overall we were very happy, our server was extremely nice and patient even with a packed restaurant and what seemed like not enough staff (which we know is the norm recently in most places) so we were not in a hurry and let him know that. Dessert was delicious as well.
The best service I’ve received ever. The food was amazing the pricing was affordable and portion size was great. I would definitely return and recommend.
Very consistent great food. Like stepping back in time. When in town this is our go to.
Just food was not good no taste over priced
The service was great. Our waitress made great drink recommendations and was helpful with relaying specials, etc. The bread, salads & appetizer were good. We were looking forward to a tasty pasta dish and it was underwhelming in terms of taste & presentation.
We had the eggplant, chefs special scallops, stuffed mushrooms, Bellini and cucumber martini. Food was excellent. I would suggest, however, serving the scallops over risotto instead of Alfredo. Server was new, but attentive and very personable. Your chocolate cake was THE BEST I’ve ever had! Hands down
If you weren’t looking for Fratellos you may easily walk by it. Sure, there are a number of restaurants to chose from in Park Circle but Fratellos Italian Tavern should not be missed.
We were celebrating my birthday; the friendly staff immediately greeted us the moment we walked. I am sorry I didn’t get his name but the bartender was terrific, he was funny and took the time to help me select the perfect white wine- Stingray Bay. The service was over the top, as was the food. My husband and I shared the Calamari, cooked to perfection. He had the special- citrus infused scallops over linguine with a florentine sauce. If there is Linguie Alle Vongole on the menu, I always order it. I am a Linguine and Clams snob.:) From CT to CA to SC, I have to say this is one of the best Linguine Alle Vongole I have been served. Kudos to the chef for a perfected dish. We finished off with an order of cheesecake and the four layered chocolate cake. Overall the experience was first class, the service was great and the food perfect. If you haven’t visited Fratellos Italian Tavern at Park Circle, it’s a must stop for all foodies out there. I have to say it was the best time we have had since locked down and we will return and most likely eat our way through the menu.
Plenty of options on the menu. Delicious food and portions big enough to take home leftovers. Service was a little slow on drinks but food came out quickly. Get the shrimp appetizer and save the sauce for the bread. And get the chocolate cake but only if you have at least 3 other people to help you!
Great meal with awesome service
The food was great and the service was awesome
The food is amazing as always!! One of the best places for Italian food around!
It was very good food , very good experience , our server was a little slow , took him 20 mins just to get us our bill, but overall was amazing food .
The food is good Italian food. The area is large enough that you do not have tables on tp of each other. The staff are attentive and polite without hovering over you. My husband and I usually go there every month or so and the food and service are consistent.
It was wonderful and Imani was fabulous!!
I arrived early and was nicely greeted. The service was fantastic. This place has respectable meatballs! definitely go!
We were trying to find a place to stop by for lunch on the way out of town and chose Fratello's. I had a delicious salad with salmon on it and my husband had the Salsiccia e Cipolla. Poor guy barely made it an hour before he was sick. The only thing we could figure out was that it was the sausage. I'm still rating it very good because we don't know for sure if that was the cause.
Quite a bit distant from downtown Charleston. Food portions more than ample, and very well prepared. Excellent value for the money. Establishment seemed short staffed, but waiter was exceptional.
Our server was great! The food was amazing!
Family in town! Great meal and service!
Dinner was delicious as always, the closest we’ve come in Charleston to authentic NY Italian restaurant. Our server was personable and friendly but not as attentive as we’ve come to expect at zFratellos. He forgot our water, couldn’t remember if he’d taken our
Finally found an Italian restaurant that can compare with Northern NJ Italian. Great Veal Parm! Atmosphere was "bar casual" but the food was worth the find. Extra bar fees (ice on the side, and a Martini mixing fee) were negatives, but stick with the red wine and beer and enjoy!
I was expecting high quality Italian food and a fine dining experience. The noodles were soggy and overall we were very disappointed. Don’t waste your money.
Fratellos has some of the better Italian food in Charleston. Our service was slow and it did feel like we were being ignored some of the time while other tables had more attentive servers. They are doing reservation only right now, so that's something to keep in mind. Even with the place being half to 3/4's full it still got pretty noisy. I am glad we went, but we probably wont go back.
Food was excellent, served piping hot. Our server was very attentive.
Worst meal I have ever had in Charleston. Waiter had 2 be stoned. They did not have any of the wine on the menu. Food was not good. Service horrible. Way over priced. Will not go back.
We always love the food, but the noise is too much. Had a member of our party with hearing aids and she had to remove them due to the excessive noise inside. They really need to install some sound baffling.
It’s sad that they were out of soooo many things! From Caesar salad (who runs out of Caesar salad??) to Veal to a couple other staples. The chicken piccata was good though.
Poor service. Long wait for food after ordering. Many items not available
Food was average at best. Service was disappointing considering the great service at other Park Circle restaurants. Won’t return but the food was decent and actually fast.
Good food and service. Would certainly go back.
The pasta on both the penne and chicken Marsala was very watery, overcooked and had little flavor.
Lovely time, as always, at Fratello’s! I tried the breaded salmon in a Pinot Grigio/garlic cream sauce, and it was phenomenal, so different, and the best salmon I’ve ever had. Big shout out, too, for the middle neck clams linguini; again best sauce, just perfect said another in the party. Hi praise also for the veal piccata and shrimp pomodoro linguini. Had calamari & the shrimp appetizer as well. Thank you, Fratellos!
The food here is awesome! Very authentic and homemade!
Would definitely eat here again and recommend it. Very large portions! Room could use some table separation - felt like we were on a date with the couple next to us
If you love Italian you should try this place!
Tasted just like Mama use to make!
We had the best time! The calamari wasn’t the best, but our meals were amazing! The server (PJ) was hilarious and was on top of everything. We will certainly be back!
Food was exceptional as always! Ask for the eggplant that is not on the menu…you will not regret it!
