They don't participate in Open Table and we were told that after arriving (having made an Open Table reservation???). The food was good, service friendly. I'd recommend for a casual meal.

We made a reservation for 7:00 for 5 people for outside. However upon arrival they would not offer us outside seating. They informed us that the outside seating was for Polpo only. However we have been seated outdoors prior to this for Fratelli’s. I informed them that I had made a reservation on Open Table and indicated outside seating, however they still refrained from seating us outside. The table Outside was even set for 5 people. Very disappointed.

It took really long for our food to arrive and when it did, one of our pizzas was cold. I brought it up to the cook and rather than remaking the pie, he jUst heated it up which made the crust overly crispy.

Unable to recommend because when we arrived at our reservation time, we were told the restaurant was closed. I explained we had a reservation and that we did not receive a call informing us the restaurant was closed ahead of time. Again we were curtly told the restaurant was closed. Had a similar experience with another restaurant owned by the same individual(s), although at that time when we arrived the restaurant was dark and no one came to the locked door when we knocked or answered the phone when we called.

Horrible experience. Do not go there. They did not honor our reservation that we made 5 days prior.. No place to wait and they sent their youngest wait staff to handle.. we felt bad. Do yourself a favor and just get hoagies next door at Primos.. we did.

The food was delicious and very quickly prepared. We had our two children with us and they were both pleased as well! The pizza, mozzarella, and brussel sprouts that was ordered were delicious. We will definitely return. On a side note, the outdoor seating was a table on the sidewalk, but still very comfortable and provided a nice ambience.

Arrived to find a woefully understaffed establishment. Explained that I had an open table reservation and was met with a blank stare. No computer was checked. I was told there were no tables but that I could sit at the counter , which I did. There was no hostess to greet customers -it was simply bedlam. Food was ok, nothing special. Management needs to hire more staff , including a hostess and an extra waitress and bus staff. Watching the two waitresses running around trying to do everything was stress inducing and anxiety provoking.

Good food, awful service - they had 2 young girls doing EVERYTHING - hostess, buser, waitress, food runner, etc. and they were responsible for all tables in there. We felt bad for the girls, but the service was just awful. Very poorly managed. We felt the same way about Polpo (the restaurant next store which is owned by the same people). Wish we could love this place as it's in walking distance to our house, but they really need to work out the kinks. Hoping it's just because they are new and will eventually be better.

Booked a reservation and was denied a table because they printed the reservation list out earlier then when I booked my table. Told 40 minutes until a table might be available. Completely unprofessional

Went early on the 4th of July weekend. Within a short time every table was filled, but the service was friendly and good. We shared the meatballs and the calamari appetizers. Both very good. The margarita pizza was thin crust, crispy and delicious. We prefer our pizza a bit more well done than this was, but we forgot to ask. Gelato for dessert was also very good. Wouldn’t hesitate to return and eat in or get a pizza to go.

We enjoyed a salad and thin, gourmet-ish pizza with interesting toppings. This is one of the better and more interesting restaurants in Avalon/Stone Harbor. It's BYOB. But note that OpenTable reservations do not work here -- you can make a reservation, but the restaurant does not get the information, and when you get there you'll just have to wait until a table is available.

Appetizers way over priced with very small portions. One example two small sausages cut in half $13.00 Calamari for $14.00 looked like it came out of a frozen box. Main meal - Pizza just okay. Very confused servicer since they were probably not trained.

Our first time at Fratellis and we will be back. Pizza was very good. Caesar salad was fine and marinated olives appetizer was outstanding. They were delicious and the marinade was phenomenal. It was wonderful for bread dipping. Service was excellent but it was a cold rainy Thursday night so there were no other patrons in the Pizza restaurant and only about 3 - tables were occupied in Polpo next door, its sister seafood restaurant. We were sharing the Polpo server but it was not a problem. He was the best server we ever had at Polpo, friendly, engaging, warm. Prior servers at Polpo have ranged from atrocious to mediocre at best. When the season starts they will need a lot of staff for both places but their history with Polpo suggests it might be a problem. We have eaten at Polpo about 6 - 7 times since it opened last July. The food is fantastic but on virtually every occasion service has been atrocious. I do not expect anything different for Fratellis. We can hope for a change but not optimistic. We will likely only be patronizing Fratellis in the off/shoulder season and not during the peak season in July/August. We are happy it finally opened since it is a short walk for us.
