This was a very disappointing meal out. There were 4 of us for a birthday meal. 2 of the dinners were awful. The seabass was hard and dry and looked like an old shoe. The other dinner which was a steak, arrived totally overcooked and the substitute turned up when everyone else had finished. None of the stuff apologised. I have visited the restaurant a number of times in previous years. I’ve always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The service was always good too. I don’t know what’s happened but I would not go back there.

Waitress was good and friendly but was working on her own. We had to wait a very long time to receive our food after ordering each course even though there was only one other table in use. We were a party of three adults and two children celebrating our granddaughter’s 4th birthday. They were incredibly well behaved but the long waits in the heat could have been different. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for children. On the plus side, the food was excellent.

Desperately disappointing. Dreadful food. Dry tasteless fritto misto. Awful chicken main course. Hideously expensive (£90 for 2). The worst Italian food I have ever had. Maybe we chose badly. Delightful Polish waitress.

2nd visit during this week, as were staying in Midhurst Wish it were our local Italian restaurant. Great food and wine and lovely staff.

The service was friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the food fell short, it lacked authenticity and flavour, and didn’t live up to expectations given the reviews. My wife also noted that the loos were in poor condition and could really use a proper clean.

This is a great Italian in the centre of Midhurst, we always feel welcome having visited many, many times, in fact we feel like friends as we arrive.
