As always A++++ Meal and Service. George and his Staff are ALWAYS on Point.!!
Too loud. Staff was either understaffed as most off of our time here was spent waiting for someone. Noise was so loud you practically had to yell at your table mates to hear them. Food was okay especially for 40$ a steak. Spent 300$ here and probably wouldn’t come back.
Very impressed, overall very good experience. We will be back.
Food was overpriced and mediocre. We had the rib-eye steaks. It was cooked perfectly but was very tough and chewy.
Great food, dessert, and cocktails. Enjoyed my experience here and it was a great dinner spot before enjoying the rest of the evening in other parts of old town.
The place was beautiful . Great ambiance. The bartender and server were friendly and helpful. The salmon I ordered was the best!!! The smoke flavor was sooo good.
They had my boyfriend’s favorite wine and he was so happy.
The owner came out and asked us how our food was. He suggested another brand of wine my boyfriend loved too. Upon finding out it was my birthday he gave me free desert. Soo rich and yummy. A cheesecake based buttery desert. The owner was very attentive and wanted to make sure every thing was perfect. Great experience.
We certainly “foodies” and enjoy when we stumble across hidden gems like Fraser’s. Absolutely the best steak we have ever had. The service was incredible. You must try this amazing steakhouse.
If you want generous drinks and delicious food with no "attitude" this is your place. The décor isn't much...pretty plain, old fashioned "supper club" look...but the food, service and drinks more than make up for it. Try the ribeye. I don't really care about potatoes, but the mashed potatoes here are delicious. Great bartender. Nice to be able to visit with the owner. Go to this place.
Love this place! I'm a repeat customer that will continue to choose this restaurant for special occasions :)
Food and service were perfection
Looked for a locally owned restaurant to celebrate my birthday. it was a quite fairly early Sunday evening. Christine greeted up with a friendly smile, gave some good advice on the menu options. My wife ordered the Salmon, it was grilled with a bit of crunch around the edges, served on garlic mashed potatoes & Asparagus, drizzled with a creamed Dill sauce... she was totally pleased (note, Christine said the chef changes up the sauce regularly, so check what it's served with that evening). I ordered the 20 oz. Prime Rib, medium rare, and it was wonderful... more like a Prime Filet in tenderness. My wife tasted it as well, and said it was the best PR she had ever had. this was a great find!
Highly recommend, excellent service, hand crafted cocktails, excellent wine selections, and the food was outstanding. You get what you pay for, and this place is worth it!
Great food great service as always.
I had the pork chop. It was outstanding. Great flavor, cooked just as ordered. Even the broccoli was good! The waitress was attentive and friendly. We just picked this restaurant at random and so glad we did.
Outstanding steaks cooked in their own special sauce. Fork tender!! The favorite side was green chili Mac and cheese. Excellent staff. A HUGE wine cellar.
I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!
We were visiting from out of town. The restaurant was off the beaten path but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was DELICIOUS!! We had the fried raviolis as an appetizer (we did half cheese and half meat), the pork chop which my husband said was the best he’s ever had, and I had the swordfish which was a special and SO GOOD! I can’t leave this comment without mentioning our great server Elissa. She gave great suggestions and was all around pleasant and attentive. Will def come back when we are in town again!
Fantastic steaks and service. Went for our anniversary and was not disappointed. Love that it looks like an old fashioned, traditional steakhouse.
Once again a great meal. The drinks are great - generous pours. The food it delicious and not mega overpriced like many of the steak places in Scottsdale. The staff is super friendly and not pretentious. Try the ribeye and the ribs. Great mashed potatoes.
Nice find! Place was not crowded. Wish they had more food choices.
Ambiance and setting is fresh, comfortable, and relaxing. Many new restaurants are uncomfortable, hard metal and wood seating, loud and annoying,
Frasher’s is perfectly designed and decorated, a very peaceful setting and with polite and friendly staff.
The food was excelent, the server was very good .We like very much!
I was really looking forward to this place after seeing so many good reviews.
The Prime Rib sandwich was particularly disappointing, not on a garlic baguette as described, it was a supermarket quality (vaguely ciabatta) bun filled with gray meat, with some white cheese and slimy onions. The Mayfair salad was their ‘take on Caesar’ but fell way short. Giant pieces of Romaine (which I tried with varying degrees of success to shove down my gob), had seen much better days, a tasteless dressing, grated mystery cheese and croutons that probably came out of a package. Toasted ravioli with jalapeño cheese was as described but again, forgettable. The $40 6oz Filet Mignon was lost on a giant plate mostly covered by mashed potatoes. The single standout was the $40 12oz Prime Rib which was perfectly cooked (just enough to stop it twitching).
Lastly, the gooey butter cake was for reasons known only to whoever plated it, stone cold. WTF?
The service was excellent, in fact I couldn’t bear to tell the waitress we were disappointed. She was so awesomely attentive. The hostess was lovely as well, I hope they find a better place for their talents!
Awesome family owned restaurant! Very friendly owners/servers! The food was delicious too! We’ll definitely return!
We had great time from right when we walk in the door greeted with a smile! Service was excellent the crab cakes were delicious, our filets were cooked perfect, the Old Fashion done just right, then desert was the gooey cake! I highly recommend. 👍👍
Very nice evening with good food and service. A little load, hard to talk with people on the other side of the round 8 seat tables.
A little loud but great service and the food was super!
The food was fairly good, not amazing, but did come out fast. The house signature fried raviolis definitely seemed frozen and fried. The restaurant definitely needs some attention. The table next to us was coming apart, the wall had pieces of tape all over where it looked like sports pennants fell down or were taken down. It was very dark, maybe so you couldn’t see that it needed some updating. Nothing good enough that would make me want to go back.
The woman bartender who served us at a booth in the bar was great - friendly and fun. The prime rib was good, but not great and the pork chop tasted good but was extremely tough. Interesting location - will try other menu items next time.
We had crab cakes and scallops appetizers. Both were delicious. Lots of crab in the crab cakes and they tasted great alone but the sauce that accompanied them enhanced the flavor without over-powering. Scallops were bacon wrapped but the bacon flavor did not transfer to the scallops. I cut the bacon off and ate it separately (again, great) and then ate the scallops. They were sweet and perfectly seared. Dinner was rib-eyes with the garlic mashed, a filet with garlic mashed and broccoli. Not sure if the steaks were marinated or just seasoning but they were all very good and the mashed potatoes were perfect with them. Have to mention our server. She was truly awesome. Answered all our questions, made recommendations, was very attentive and a delightful personality. All of this and prices were well below other steak houses in the area. We will definitely be back.
Great place! Filets are amazing! George has a great place and love all of the Saint Louis touches.
Everyone was very nice our waitress was amazing. Also I’m not sure if he was the manager or owner but he came to check on me and my wife after our meal which was very welcoming. Last but not least they made sure to remind us to validate our parking before we left will definitely be back.
We came for our Anniversary and our waitress was great, food was great too! We will return :)
A hidden gem of a restaurant with a nostalgic mid-western vibe. The food is phenomenal...I mean sneaky good! We had a little bit of everything: ribeye (a must have), prime rib (yum...only on weekends), chicken cordon bleu (sooo tasty), the fried ravioli was amazing...it was all so great. I had the butter cake for dessert...this is not like any butter cake you’ve ever had...it’s a cross between cake and custard pie...I will have dreams about eating this until I can have it again! Seriously Arizonans, it’s high class affordable food with a cozy sports mid-west vibe! A must try!
Food was good. Maybe a tad expensive. Service was great. Ambience is mixed. Nice and quiet but a bit too dark. Plus it's confusing that it is a steakhouse but the decor/pictures are sports stuff. We had a good dinner overall
The food was amazing. I had the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly. Both Danica and George were great.
Will definitely be back.
The noise level was deafening. The server could not hear what we were saying.
Service started off shaky but once seated the server did very well. Food was average slightly over cooked. Pricing seemed higher then the quality. Will wait a few months before trying again.
I gave three stars for the meal as although it was very good I felt the price was a little high. Maybe making the meal a better value by offering soup or salad or even bread or rolls. I ordered the ribeye and it was good but did not wow me for what we paid. The cocktails were great and so was the service.
We went to have dinner for my daughters third birthday.
