Very good food, creative dishes. Very close tables in most of the small restaurant, with a fairly high noise level. Fair value for a BYOB. Would return with a larger group and table.
Our servers, Nick and Julio were marvelous- very courteous and competent. The food was spectacular- understated but just delicious. So glad to have Fraschetta in the neighborhood.
Outstanding food and outstanding service as always.
Best Italian and best restaurant on the MainLine.
Amazing combinations - excellent meal - looking forward to going back
We had a reservation for 4 at 6.45 on a Saturday night.
Before we had removed our coats and hung them, the waitress had opened our wine and put out the menus.
Within a minute she was there to take drinks order.
Within minute two, she recited the specials
By the third minute she asked for orders.
Although the servers were friendly and obliging, we were rushed so obviously that we could not enjoy our conversation without being interrupted.
Also in the determination to turn over tables as quickly as possible, the salads came out without dressing.
The pasta was overcooked, gummy and lukewarm.
The quail was dry and reheated under lamps.
Very good food. Always a crowd pleaser.
Pannacotta was too simple. The rest of plates delicious.
Very noisy. Service was excellent.
Rigatoni all’s Norma was a decent size and had a fresh nicely seasoned sauce. Arugula with prosciutto was good, although the dressing was nothing special. Had to wait until we ordered to receive bread. Would have preferred it as we decided.
It starts with a warm greeting, and continues on through a wonderful evening.
Good food. Good people. Real good combination.
As always cozy and comfortable with great food, some new additions always. Tried new lasagna with truffle eggplant paste layers.
way way way too loud...people at a table of 6 were extremely loud and rude...Hostess / Service were awesome as was the food.
Continues to be a real pleaser for us. We have gone several times a year since the restaurant opened.
Food & service were excellent. Very cozy & warm ambiance
Always great food and service. Noise level can be very annoying.
I have been there many times and as always the food is wonderful just like in Rome
Great food, service, manager was in the dining rm, checking thing.
The only negative would be hard to fix. Cold blast of air when people opened the front door. There is a vestibule, but people would have both doors opened.
Great evening of delicious food and lovely ambiance.
Great place to go after a movie at Bryn Mawr theater! Very authentic Italian food and byob! Loved it!
Food was delicious. Portions size perfect. Not too large or small. Most of the pasta is home made. I will definitely be going back
First time back in 6 months. Food good but lacking that something that made it very good in the past. Service disjointed, meals came sporadically and one the wrong thing. And, we where one of two parties with 3 waiters. Maybe a bad night but was not enjoyable with the disappointing food and service.
Part of the food was good, the rest ok. The service was great in the beginning, but after entrees were served, it was difficult to get our servers attention.
Everything wonderful except for the bathrooms are freezing. In a fine restaurant like Fraschetta it was surprising. You need space heaters.
We love the food! Great casual atmosphere. Service is great and staff exceptionally warm and welcoming.
The place was packed and very noisy when we arrived. We sat downstairs near the door so maybe it was quieter upstairs. The food , as usual , was exceptional. This place has a good vibe!
Delicious food! I always get the pork but every item on the menu we tried was great. Service is quick and attentive, even if the place is packed most of the time.
I've eaten here a few times with mixed results. The food is generally pretty good, but far from excellent. My dining companion had a salad to start and left half of it thinking that it was overpriced and just fair. I don't recall the name, however it was mainly spinach. On the other hand I had the beet salad which was very good. As it urns out we both ordered Osso Buco which in my opinion was just okay. My dining companion said she liked it but wouldn't order it again.
I must say that I think they do a great job with pasta dishes having had many of the choices on previous visits.
I think I've been there enough and would recommend it to anyone not having gone before. However, for me it's time to move on although I'm sure I'll go again in the future being sure to order one of their pasta dishes.
I thoroughly enjoyed the lasagna! My friends each got a pasta as well and said it was fantastic. The cheese plate we shared was average. Very good service. Affordable. I highly recommend this BYO restaurant.
Never disappoints. Excellent food and service. Always consistently great place to go.
Love this BYOB! Great food and service...always! Noise level is sometimes overwhelming. Upstairs is much quieter
Always a great meal!
2-3 on apps - meatball app very overdone - main Tuna also overdone - hockey puck overdone
Fraschetta needs to train its staff. Our waiter spent most of the evening talking to everyone and was inattentive to the fact that we waited about 45 minutes before the first dish. The food itself was ok. I had their Tuna special and the tuna was dry and overcooked.
waiter not experienced enough
asked what came with food ordered said fish and ended up with mashed potatoes which if I had choice would have asked for a vegetable
asked if I could get a smaller portion of soup like a cup
brought me a cup but charged me for a bowl
the soup was supposed to be pureed but was not done enough because roughage of beans were still there
So happy the butternut ravioli is back on the menu!! Delicious!!!!
I don't quite get it. It has great reviews and supposedly this is a place LaBan likes on the Main Line, but my wife and I were left scratching our heads. It was fine...juts like all the decent Italian spots in the area...nothing special. The servers were scatter-brained and somewhat loud for no reason at times in the background. We were expecting something a little more elevated and on-par with a decent Philadelphia Italian spot...but we should have lowered our expectations.
We were surprised. Of the four of us, only one had an entree he thought was good. The rest of us were disappointed. We had swordfish that was overcooked and a pasta dish that was lukewarm.
The servers were nice but maybe overworked as they forgot one salad, the meatballs and the tea until we reminded them a couple of times.
We have all eaten here before and had really good meals so maybe we’ll call it an off-night...thus the 3 stars.
We love fraschetta! It’s great for date night, family gatherings or dinner with friends. One of our favorites. :)
The food is really special. Interesting flavors and wide variety of choices. We were very happy with our dinner tonight.
