I have been there many times and as always the food is wonderful just like in Rome
Great food, service, manager was in the dining rm, checking thing.
The only negative would be hard to fix. Cold blast of air when people opened the front door. There is a vestibule, but people would have both doors opened.
Great evening of delicious food and lovely ambiance.
Great place to go after a movie at Bryn Mawr theater! Very authentic Italian food and byob! Loved it!
Food was delicious. Portions size perfect. Not too large or small. Most of the pasta is home made. I will definitely be going back
First time back in 6 months. Food good but lacking that something that made it very good in the past. Service disjointed, meals came sporadically and one the wrong thing. And, we where one of two parties with 3 waiters. Maybe a bad night but was not enjoyable with the disappointing food and service.
Part of the food was good, the rest ok. The service was great in the beginning, but after entrees were served, it was difficult to get our servers attention.
Everything wonderful except for the bathrooms are freezing. In a fine restaurant like Fraschetta it was surprising. You need space heaters.
We love the food! Great casual atmosphere. Service is great and staff exceptionally warm and welcoming.
The place was packed and very noisy when we arrived. We sat downstairs near the door so maybe it was quieter upstairs. The food , as usual , was exceptional. This place has a good vibe!
Delicious food! I always get the pork but every item on the menu we tried was great. Service is quick and attentive, even if the place is packed most of the time.
I've eaten here a few times with mixed results. The food is generally pretty good, but far from excellent. My dining companion had a salad to start and left half of it thinking that it was overpriced and just fair. I don't recall the name, however it was mainly spinach. On the other hand I had the beet salad which was very good. As it urns out we both ordered Osso Buco which in my opinion was just okay. My dining companion said she liked it but wouldn't order it again.
I must say that I think they do a great job with pasta dishes having had many of the choices on previous visits.
I think I've been there enough and would recommend it to anyone not having gone before. However, for me it's time to move on although I'm sure I'll go again in the future being sure to order one of their pasta dishes.
I thoroughly enjoyed the lasagna! My friends each got a pasta as well and said it was fantastic. The cheese plate we shared was average. Very good service. Affordable. I highly recommend this BYO restaurant.
Never disappoints. Excellent food and service. Always consistently great place to go.
Love this BYOB! Great food and service...always! Noise level is sometimes overwhelming. Upstairs is much quieter
Always a great meal!
2-3 on apps - meatball app very overdone - main Tuna also overdone - hockey puck overdone
Fraschetta needs to train its staff. Our waiter spent most of the evening talking to everyone and was inattentive to the fact that we waited about 45 minutes before the first dish. The food itself was ok. I had their Tuna special and the tuna was dry and overcooked.
waiter not experienced enough
asked what came with food ordered said fish and ended up with mashed potatoes which if I had choice would have asked for a vegetable
asked if I could get a smaller portion of soup like a cup
brought me a cup but charged me for a bowl
the soup was supposed to be pureed but was not done enough because roughage of beans were still there
So happy the butternut ravioli is back on the menu!! Delicious!!!!
I don't quite get it. It has great reviews and supposedly this is a place LaBan likes on the Main Line, but my wife and I were left scratching our heads. It was fine...juts like all the decent Italian spots in the area...nothing special. The servers were scatter-brained and somewhat loud for no reason at times in the background. We were expecting something a little more elevated and on-par with a decent Philadelphia Italian spot...but we should have lowered our expectations.
We were surprised. Of the four of us, only one had an entree he thought was good. The rest of us were disappointed. We had swordfish that was overcooked and a pasta dish that was lukewarm.
The servers were nice but maybe overworked as they forgot one salad, the meatballs and the tea until we reminded them a couple of times.
We have all eaten here before and had really good meals so maybe we’ll call it an off-night...thus the 3 stars.
We love fraschetta! It’s great for date night, family gatherings or dinner with friends. One of our favorites. :)
The food is really special. Interesting flavors and wide variety of choices. We were very happy with our dinner tonight.
Excellent restaurant. Wait staff are particularly welcoming and attentive. So glad they are BYO!
Love it here!!
My third visit, and each time I find it very noisy. My chicken cutlet was dry.
Food was absolutely fantastic. Every course we ate was better than the last. The meatballs to start, bucatini for the pasta course, ossobuco for my entree, and the tiramisu for dessert. Service was very friendly and it was all super affordable being a BYOB. Fantastic experience overall!
We have been dining at Fraschetta for years and know both Gianluca and Rose, the owners. They are great people and we enjoy dining at this restaurant on the Main Line serving typical Italian dishes.
Fraschetta is predictable, in a good way. You know you’ll love the pasta and food in general. We go regularly, never disappointed.
Wish it was less loud, but not bad enough not to go.
One of the best restaurants on the Main Line
Great spot, outstanding food and service, both 5-star! Noise level somewhat distracting at times. Otherwise there would be a 5 star rating overall
Any time is amazing here!
Recently ate here with my wife and another couple. We were all very satisfied with our food and with the service. I particularly enjoyed a mushroom/goat cheese appetizer and a seafood special.
We were rushed through dinner. In and out in less than an hour. A couple minutes after we began looking at the menu, one waiter asked us if we were ready to order; we said we would like to relax for “a couple of minutes before ordering.” Less than a minute later yet another waitress asked us if we wished to order. When we responded that we needed just a bit more time, the hostess came over to ask us if we wanted to order. This process (the three questions) probably took no more than 6 minutes. Dinner was fabulous and the waitstaff was very friendly and helpful but the restaurant was only half full and there was no need to rush us to this degree.
Fraschetta makes the best rigatoni!! Always a delicious time!!
As always Fraschetta is fabulous...at the risk of having too many people go there, don't miss it!
Noisy at first but after a group of twelve broke up it was very nice. Quick service friendly and professional.
Food was excellent silky fresh homemade pasta, pillowy gnocchi, fresh well dressed salad lots of delicious duck. Very very well done
Not as good as usual tonight. Appetizers were uninspired and service was slow. Mains were predictably good which will have us coming back, preferably to dine upstairs where the noise level is lower. Upstairs was closed during this visit as I imagine it is Mon - Thurs.
