Our cuisine is inspired from the Mediterranean coast and has strong Californian influences. The menu shifts frequently to utilize the best and freshest ingredients any season has to offer. Also, we pride ourselves on all of our house made desserts and ice creams.
Of equal importance, Frascati has become known for having an eclectic wine list which nicely complements the food.
Loved the food and service. Very romantic atmosphere.
Delicious smoked salmon appetizer and lobster risotto! Great neighborhood restaurant.
Exquisite food service and value! Can't wait to get back.
The shell fish were very hard to eat.
Delicious octopus salad, pork chop and steak! Great service and wonderful ambiance. Highly recommend.
Great experience all around.
You have to go!!
Unfortunately, the pasta was overcooked and the handmade linguine we ordered was way too spicy. The heat in that dish took a lot away from the depth of the seafood. They should also take the "s" off scallops because it literally came with one, single scallop on top of the dish. Also, be careful about corkage fee. I called in before arriving to make sure it was okay to bring a bottle, which they informed me of a $25 fee. Upon receiving the final bill, it came out to $40! Overall, so-so food in a narrow, cramped restaurant. I probably wouldn't go back or recommend.
Really lovely place. The bass was amazing.
The food was great. Very interesting. Service was outstanding.
Birthday Girls Night Out
Very quaint, romantic neighborhood restaurant. Staff was so nice. Rebecca, owner’s wife, was a great hostess. Made us feel so welcome. She is also the pastry chef and is very talented. Atmosphere was fantastic. Although everyone likes the two tables facing the street, we sat upstairs overlooking the restaurant and kitchen and we think it’s the best table. Bella was our server and was super attentive while still giving us alone time. Food was delicious and prepared perfectly. A great experience overall.
Wonderful Hyde St neighborhood Italian place. Enjoyed everything and sat in the window table - cable cars rolling by and good people/dog watching.
The soup was sublime, the fettuccine a bit too wide. Nearly ribbon pasta width. The bolognese was very flavorful, but the amount was too much for the quantity of pasta. Apple crumble was average. The meal was early on a Monday evening, 6:30 to 7:45, so not too much noise.
It was my second time there. Not as good as the first.
Incredible, Italian food for a fine palate — from the wine list, to appetizers, to entrees, to dessert, Frascati has it all.
One of the best neighborhood restaurants in San Francisco.
Beautiful and cozy little nook in rustic San Francisco, perfect for that special someone.
Friendly service. Delicious food. Appetizers were a highlight.
Wonderful Italian restaurant! I came here for my father's birthday, and it was just the right atmosphere for the occasion - cosy, casual, delicious.
We had the butternut squash gnocchi, seafood linguine, and lobster risotto. All the food was simple and very tasty, especially the risotto. I also highly recommend the bread pudding for dessert!
Our new favorite San Francisco restaurant.
Overall, recommend frascati. However was extremely Disappointed when it came to them acknowledging our allergies at the table. Prior to the meal we alerted our waiter of our allergies however discovered that the kitchen did not take that into consideration and served us food that had one of our listed allergies.
It is super critical restaurants acknowledge allergies as they can be quite severe. I was very disappointed in the lack of apology after serving us food we were allergic to.
Loved our waiter Brian, celebrated by good friend Jen's bday and we had a blast. Great place for a small group great ambiance. Great pasta dishes.
It was amazing- service was speedy, the staff was very friendly (and everything he recommended was DELICIOUS). Just an overall great date night experience.
John and Rebecca run a cozy neighborhood restaurant with consistently great food and an ice wine by the glass selection. The service is always great and the staff and owners are warm and friendly. While we are do not live anywhere near by, we fell as if we are visiting friends while dining at Frascati.
This is a lovely restaurant and we enjoyed a wonderful meal. The service was excellent and attentive. I had a halibut dish that was terrific and my wife had lobster risotto she enjoyed. We shared dessert which was a chocolate chip cheese cake!! It was simply the best cheese cake I've ever had!!! Very Romantic spot.
Everything at Frascati was super tasty!
Wonderful! Great food, great service! Running late due to flight delays, Jon was gracious and worked with us!
Nice and cute restaurant. Very good food.
Very nice and polite waitresse
Would definitely go again.
We love Frascati--the food is terrific, the service excellent, and it's such a great place to hang out with friends for dinner.
Went there for my girlfriends birthday. Very small place with tables jammed together. I mentioned it was her birthday and wanted a quiet table if available. The place was about half full. We were seated at a very small table sandwiched between three other tables. There was barely enough room to move our seats back to sit down. I picked the restaurant because my girlfriend wanted Italian food. We were both surprised by the very limited Italian selection to choose from. I ended up getting the Filet, cooked rare. She ordered the same. This after going out specifically or an Italian dish. Both were adequate, nothing more. The restaurant was noisy when we entered. By the time our orders came the tables had filled and the noise level was deafening!! My head was hurting! We finished as quickly as we could and asked for the check. Couldn’t wait to get out of there. The best thing about the place was the waitstaff. Won’t return!
The food they served were all great. Salmon bruschetta was so tasty, and roasted half chicken was so juicy.
The table I sit was too close to the half-open kitchen and I kept sneezing because of the pepper comes with the wind. Other than that was great.
This is the best restaurant in San Francisco.
This is our second time there and the food was fabulous. The service was excellent! Our waiter was very attentive and his helpers kept our water glasses filled at all times. We started off with a Buratta on a crostini and a gnocchi dish which was excellent to share. I highly recommend the pork chop and the sea bass which was a special. My daughters had the roast chicken and the filet which they loved! The location is great and the ambiance is lovely.
I had fantastic fettuccine - pasta was delicious. Service very attentive. The 4 instead of 5 is because they have an open cooking kitchen in the main dining area. We were sitting right above it on the balcony and unfortunately smokey smells wafted up...
Great food and service
Frascati is a perfect homey neighborhood restaurant with amazing comfort food dishes!
It was perhaps the best pork chop I have ever eaten and I let them know. Perfectly prepared with a wonderful sauce. This is a very quaint and friendly neighborhood restaurant. My wife said the homemade ice cream was outstanding.
Terrific food and service. Great buzz
Really enjoyed a business dinner with colleagues. Food, service and experience was terrific.
Food was fair. Service was good. Atmosphere was good. The big thing was the food was just fair. Maybe because they were crazy busy? Had the octopus salad which was good but the duck was just fair. Expecting more.
