   Franks was a very nice place to eat for my spouse’s birthday! The initial wait for our server to come to the table was quite long, however once Nick arrived he was amazing !! The drinks were very good and flavorful. Food at Franks is phenomenal, do not skip dessert!!! The bread pudding is to die for, the whiskey sauce will make you see fireworks!!!! Over all a great date night spot !!!

   Pretty much the whole experience was off . Normally, we enjoy taking our out of town clients there because the food, service and staff is excellent but Friday night everything was just not good. Slow service, the oysters were not hot, bread pudding was at best warm in spots. Our favorites where not available and the music was so loud in side room it was hard to hear each other. We would love to try it again in a month or two. Hopefully, it was a one time thing because we do enjoy entertaining there. Frank’s makes us look good!

   We shared oysters on the half shell and they were served cold and they were delicious! We all had the scallops and we all enjoyed them. DJ was our server and he was great!

   My wife and I went here for a Valentine's date. It was outstanding and we really enjoyed it. We had a reservation and had no wait at all. As others have mentioned, the service was outstanding; our waitress was really on top of things and volunteered a lot of information about the menu, the restaurant itself, just everything. The food was really, really good. Blackened crab cake appetizer was small but delicious. Wife had the salmon which she really enjoyed. The Zydeco Pasta was truly incredible and I strongly recommend the dish. Just overall a great experience and exactly what we were looking for.

   The oysters were phenomenal! best I’ve had since coming to this part of Louisiana. The crème brûlée was also amazing! My steak was juicy and seasoned perfectly. And the server was awesome. I didn’t have a single issue with my order being completely gluten free as I needed.

   Amazing! My boyfriend and I booked a reservation here for a date night and enjoyed every minute of it! All staff was super welcoming and kind, food was outstanding, and the vibes were great! 10/10! We will definitely be coming back!

    My guest and I had a good brunch at Franks. The music on Sundays unfortunately doesn’t begin until after noontime so no live music during our meal. I started with the red beans and rice which were among the best I’ve ever had. Then my guest had the seafood salad which was a beautiful dish. Crisp wedge of romaine and several seafood items. I ordered the bbq shrimp which reminds me of Bacco shrimp in New Orleans. Super tasty. Only wish it came with toasted bread. Service was good.

    Food was awful. We ordered Atlantic salmon, shrimp and grits, and a pasta dish with seafood. No one likes their meal. Super expensive for low quality food.

    Perfect option for NYE. Max the Sax provided great entertainment and DJ gave us great service. French 23 and charred hush puppies were a delicious start. Also ordered shaved Brussels sprout salad, shrimp and grits, pecan crusted redfish & gumbo - every bite was scrumptious. Only issue was being too full for dessert!

    Franks is great. The food is always excellent. There were lovely nature videos playing on the TV screens, which we appreciated for dinner rather than sports. Service was a little slower than ideal, but very good nonetheless. Ambiance is more casual than the food, so if you’re looking for high-end food without having to gussy up, this is your spot.

    The bartender was the only good part of the experience. Food was lukewarm and the waitress, while energetic, was severely lacking. You’re better off going to Fat Calf.

    Could not tell you how it was...they were closed. We drove several hours to get there, only to find they had closed two days before due to plumbing issues. I understand they cannot help that, but I should not have been able to make reservation at all.

    Went there for lunch. I got the shrimp and grits and my wife the pecan fish. Grits were very cheesy and pretty bland. Shrimp and fish were good though - gumbo was amazing! Good selection of food and they had on the lsu game. Good service.

    The receptionist was welcoming, helpful and funny. Our server was attentive but didn’t hover. The food was excellent, attractively plated, served at the proper temperature and just the right portion. The atmosphere was casual. We would definitely return.

    My guest and I had lunch at Franks. We were promptly seated but too awhile before anyone came to our table even though there were only three other tables with only a few guests occupied. We finally got some water and then after another long wait were asked what we wanted to eat. It took a surprisingly long long to get our food and even then when mine arrived it was missing an item. My guest ordered the strawberry duck salad and really enjoyed it. I got the bbq shrimp with side of French bread. The shrimp comes head and shell on. The taste was wonderful but it would have helped to have a pointed knife (like steak knife) to help remove the shell. Bread eventually showed up after I asked for it. The shrimp broth is fantastic and reminds me of Bacco shrimp from now defunct French Quarter restaurant of the same name. I would have preferred the bread come grilled or at least toasted.

    We went here for an anniversary dinner and it was the best meal we have had in YEARS!!! We loved the casual feel of the restaurant but the food was elevated and upscale!! We had the blackened redfish, seared scallops, and oyster Bienville and ALL where phenomenal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! Service was fantastic, cocktails where some of the best I have had, and it is a very comfortable feeling restaurant.
