The burrata appetizer was fantastic. The prime rib sandwich was good but smaller than I expected for the money (in terms of filling/amount of meat, but the quality was great).

The onion soup was excellent. Then it went downhill. The prime rib sandwich was poor as was the fried chicken sandwich. The tater tots were too oily to even eat! Taste of old oil. Too many better places to choose from. Would not return.

Maybe it was an off night, but 3 of us ordered dinner and only 2 dinners were brought out. When our waiter came by to check on us, he didn’t even realize he had not brought the third meal. Our meal came out faster than we could eat our appetizer. The bartender was busy talking for about 10 minutes before he made our drinks. We were watching. The food was ok, but customer service was not.

First the negative. Only problem was somewhat dirty area of the velvet couch areas that are part of the dining tables. Just found a strange with the ambience and location of this restaurant, that that would not be addressed on a daily basis. We actually moved from our original seating to another because of this reason. Otherwise, the location, the service, the food and the relative ambience are excellent. Strongly recommended for a lunch or a light informal dinner if you’re in the old city area of Philadelphia.

Robert, our waiter was excellent. This was the second time he has been my waiter and he was attentive, friendly and professional each time. A valuable asset to the venue.

Arrived at 1pm. Place was mostly empty. Waitress immediately asked I was ready to order. No. Finally ordered a starter of tots and two entree salads. The salads came but the tots were AWOL. I had asked for them to be "extra done." They were not. They had clearly forgotten them and threw them together. Medium cooked tots on salad plate with sriracha and some microwaved Cheez Whiz. The entree salads were equally "meh." My friend had a 2-year-old. They had a booster seat but no bibs. Dessert was described as "strawberry ice cream sandwiched between a peanut butter cookie and an oatmeal cookie. A lot going on there." The two salads, tots starter, iced tea and diet coke were $51+tip? I will not make this mistake twice.

There were not a few tables seated when we arrived since we came at non-busy time. The staff was friendly and the food was good, though it did take a little bit for it to come out despite no one else being there. If I’m ever in town, I’ll definitely come back!
