Frankie's Jazz Club
I think the no talking rule is a bit much. As a musician patron, I like discussing aspects of the performance with my musician friends during the song occasionally
Excellent service and meals. Great acoustics for jazz!!!
Great jazz, staff, service, food and ambiance. Noise level is low in terms of conversation during live music performances.
good Italian style food and great venue to listen to live jazz
Good experience. Unfortunately the club is not easily attainable for students and lower income people.
Perhaps 6 of the entry bar stools could be set aside as lower priced seats.
Vacationing in Vancouver .
Nice place for taking in music although the place was half empty. Maybe try promoting to all the hotels nearby.
Food needs some work however - wouldn’t get the lamb entree again.
Server was quirky to the point of odd - we felt sorry for him.
Overall a bit pricey considering markup on alcohol, cover charge for band and tip.
Not sure we’ll be back for some time.
a nice meal before seeing a living legend Sir Paul
Had a great evening! It was super busy.
Every evening we spend a Frankie's is special. Starting with a great server who was warm but professional (with a little sass thrown in for good measure), to a lovely cocktail, great supper and stellar
entertainment our night was a success. We brought along friends who had never been there but are now
planning to return :)
Frankie’s is that rare combination of great jazz, delicious food, and excellent service. Erica is a knowledgeable and
gracious server. I have dined here several times, and will certainly return.
The waiter service was particularly outstanding and the food as advertised great Italian comfort food 1
Went to see drummer Steve Smith and his band. As it was a Jazz Festival show, there was a $35 charge per person. What they didn't tell us was that you couldn't see Steve Smith from our table. As I expressly went to see him play, this was a huge negative. I asked to be moved but was told there were no tables to move us to. When I suggested that selling seats to a show that you can't see was misleading, I was told that we should have booked earlier to get a better table. Needless to say we won't be going back.
First time to Frankie's jazz club. From the service , food and ambiance. Evening was awesome.
Great music venue.
Food is very nice, and staff is very friendly.
wonderful jazz club
the room sounded good and people were listening
The staff and food were great!
Dave Robbins Sextet CD release
Excellent service, food and atmosphere with great music.
It was our first experience at Frankies. The vibe was great, food was good, and Jazz performer fantastic. My only complaint would be our server...she left something (or should I say, a lot) to be desired, which was unfortunate.
Great evening with Black Gardinia. Daphne Roubini is a real find and will be back to see her.
Booked early so we had a fine table at the front, perfect for concentrating on the performance we came to hear. Very happy about that! The food pleasantly surprised us; it came to the table hot and proved to be very tasty, both my lasagna and my partner's Chicken Marsala. The wine list provided a lovely California Cabernet. Our server was excellent with the just the right attentiveness and personality. We also appreciated our fellow diners who gave the musicians due respect by putting the dampers on chattering tongues and clattering dishes. All in all a most enjoyable evening!
I had a terrible time on Tuesday night.
Custoners were frequently taking photos and dancing an an inch away from me.
I spent $42.00 dollars plus $7.00 dollars on parking. I am requesting a full refund of $42.00 dollars
We made reservation for a sold out Jazz Fest show! Wow what a great time. The whole restaurant was dancing!
Just a great spot. Great service and they really go all out to ensure artists and patrons are jammin!

I am always very happy at Frankie's......love the outstanding service and the VERY wonderful music that we hear. Most enjoyable. I recommend Frankie's to my pals, most of whom are music fans. Thank Cory Weeds for his excellent programming.
One thing: please change up the menu from time to time. I would love to see pork chops and some more vegetarian dishes.
My compliments to all!! Betty Perverzov
Absolutely will return for more great jazz and excellent food. Thank you!
Delicious food, fabulous jazz - what more could you want on a night out?
Excellent food and great service. The music was excellent.
We went there for my Wife’s Birthday. We had a perfect spot to see the live music. The waitress was so thoughtful and attentive. The food was so tasty with perfect portions. I especially love the scampi dish! We will definitely go back.
Good food, Dylan Cramer trio was fantastic and our friends loved them as well
We came primarily to hear the Dylan Cramer trio. Usually have snack and drinks, but this time we both enjoyed excellent dinners and a fine bottle of wine.
And the music did not disappoint--in fact even better than when it's just Dylan and Bob Johnson on piano.
This trio is absolutely outstanding. Looking forward to the next gig at Frankie's on August 25th.
Great food, great Jazz! looking forward to bringing family down again
Food was not good. I had to send back one of my dish. Too salty.
Also, found a whole piece of bay leave inside a polenta fry, not sure how that is possible. This indicates the kitchen is not very careful at food prep. scary.
It was a fabulous evening. The jazz band was wonderful especially the vocalist Adam Thomas
Bring them back!
Stellar as usual. Food is great. Service is lovely.
We enjoyed another wonderful evening of great jazz and delicious meals at Frankie's and will return whenever possible.
Food is definitely underwhelming and service was not professional. Music was great so I believe food & service should be as good as the music.
Fabulous evening at Frankie's recently with the amazing Misha Piatigorsky Trio. The food was also great that night. We had Seafood Linguini which included a half lobster tail, clams, mussels, fresh fish, jumbo prawn, tomato sauce, lobster bisque. The sauce was full of umami, incorporating the freshness of the seafood with a bisque. We also had the daily special of Rainbow Trout with vegetables, beautifully presented and just as delicious.
