This is the 2nd time our family has gathered here for a meal and it was just as great the 2nd time. Wonderful staff and quality food! We tried the pizza special which had mozzarella, ricotta, burrata, mushrooms and a balsamic drizzle - yum!!!

We were looking forward to another dinner at Frankie’s but in retrospect,I wish we had chosen another day. Valentines Day seemed to overwhelm both the staff and the kitchen. We arrived at our designated time and two hours passed before we got our entree. The Caesar Salads were $10.00 each and could have filled a small dessert plate. Tasty but not a good value. The Gorgonzola Gnocchis wee excellent. Our Server was MIA. And we finally got our check 3 hours after we arrived. We will try again though. I

We came to celebrate my son's 7th birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make it special for him. They brought him a little toy, and valentine's treat, in addition to comping his ice-cream dessert. On top of that, they had a problem prepping the zeppoli dessert we ordered for the table(the first batch burned) so while we waited they brought out a tiramisu for us. Both desserts were delicious! The rest of the dinner was so good as well. We were so happy with our experience.

I/we really enjoyed the attention we received and only 1 (of the 4) of us was disappointed in the service aspect and didn’t find the entirety of the food amazing - did love the dessert though!

Great food however we were there for a b-day dinner, there were eight of us and two of us ordered the flounder/blue crab special and our dinner came out 15+ minutes after the rest of our party was served so they were almost all finished by the time we go our dinner and the broccoli on the plate was cold...how does that happen?

We celebrated my Mom’s Birthday. They had several large parties and were told they were also getting ready for a big catering job off-site. The bread they served was too doughy and not edible. The pizza was good. Everyone who ordered a meal with red sauce felt like it was bland. The staff was working really hard and they’re always so nice. It was just an off night for the food unfortunately.

Service was odd. Got our appetizer order wrong. House salad and dressing was good though overloaded with bloated blackberries. Bread was more Hawaiian than Italian. Veal marsala (on special) was terrible and nothing like marsala. It was yellow rather than red and tasted like vinegar or lemon mixed in. Who puts lemon juice in marsala?

Frankie's B Town Bistro is not a place to dine if you want a quick meal and are in a hurry. Go to McDonald's. However, if you have the time and are looking for a wonderful dining experience I would highly recommend Frankie's The food is excellent and the staff delightful. And even better, Tuesday evening they sell their bottles of wine for 1/2 price. There's plenty of free parking on the street around and near the restaurant. The owner is usually there and is sincerely interested in you and your dining experience. You will not be disappointed in the selection of this restaurant, but be sure to allow sufficient time.

Arrived in the morning from Hawaiʻi for a family reunion in Washington State and wanted to have some lunch before meeting up with family. Found this place with great reviews online and wanted to give it a chance. We are SO HAPPY that we did. We arrived earlier than our reservation, because we were hungry and hoped that the restaurant could accommodate us. And they did! We ordered the calamari, cioppino, fettuccine alfredo with shrimp & mushrooms, and linguine with clams. The calamari was so tasty & crispy. And the house bread was homemade with herbs and spices. So soft and delicious for dipping in olive oil! Frankie, one of the owners was so generous and kept bringing more bread for us. Unfortunately, their shipment of clams hadn’t arrived yet, plus we were early in arriving. Frankie informed us that the cioppino & the linguine entrees couldn’t be made and was so sorry. We told him that were are flexible and would enjoy the cioppino even without clams, and we asked if he could do muscles with the linguine instead. He said he would talk it over with the chef, Jose, and he came back shortly after to let us know that Jose will take care of it. Jose did an amazing job. Our dishes were delicious. Pasta cooked aldente, seasoned and salted perfectly, and the seafood was cooked just right. We ordered cannoli, which were the best and most homemade tasting I’ve had! Crispy & fresh cream. Frankie also recommended the zeppole, which we’ve never had before and it was amazing! The ricotta, ginger, cinnamon pastry had all these flavors that worked so well together! Overall, even with the hiccups, the staff & owner(s) of Frankie’s Bistro will go out of their way to make your experience great. Dine here if you have the chance. We know we will be stopping by the next time we are in Washington State. Mahalo nui !!

The food was pretty good, we all kind of expected entrees to come with a side salad, as that is the case with most Italian places, but they do not. The service was not great. We had reservations and the table they saved for us was at the very back right by the bathrooms..the tables were very small, our party of 6 was super cozy, and it was very loud. Service was slow, we asked for a second round of drinks that never did show up, thankfully they didn’t try to charge us. One of the owners came around to chat, which could have been nice if it was just a brief visit to see how our dinner was, but she definitely does not know how to read a situation! Our family was visiting for one night and that was our dinner, and she just comes up to the table pulls up a chair and proceeds to tell us her whole life story and talk up all of their businesses. She made herself at home at our table, uninvited, twice and spent at least 30 min talking non stop! We told her we were family visiting for just the one night and she took all of that time away from us to plug her businesses! We will not be returning

My father-in-law came to visit and loves Italian food. We used to come to this location under a previous owner. We were very pleasantly surprised to find the atmosphere to be family oriented, the service to be great and entertaining and the food was amazing. We will definitely be visiting again on a more regular basis.

My wife and I went for the first time on our anniversary and we loved it. Our server Porter was great, so was the food, and the anniversary Prosecco was a nice touch to boot. We will definitely go again and recommend it to anyone.

Our server (Porter) was EXCELLENT! The food was fantastic (I had the Rack of Lamb ... YUM!). Everyone else cleaned their plates as well ... very, very good and would go back next time I am in Seattle.

This was our second visit to Frankie's. Our first experience was outstanding on all levels - great food, great service and fun atmosphere (I submitted a review after that visit). So the next time we found ourselves in the area we knew we wanted to go back. Unfortunately, this time things went sideways. I understand that even the best restaurants sometimes have a bad night. This was one of them. Fundamentally, I think the problem was they were understaffed. The restaurant was packed, with a large party in the back and diners on the patio, in the bar and in the main dining area. With only 2 servers (who were actually running from table to table) and probably a similarly understaffed kitchen, service was extremely slow. After a long delay we finally got our entrees only to find they had gotten my order wrong. By then, we didn't want to wait longer so we shared my husband's entree, He had the gnocchi and it was delicious! Despite all this, I will still recommend this place and will definitely return. It was just one of those nights. The leader waiter (Porter) was very apologetic and sincere. He handled the entire situation very professionally and did the "right things" to make up for our less-than-great experience. Thanks, Porter! We'll be back to see you the next time we're near Burien.

We have been here twice. Once for happy hour and the food and service were great. The atmosphere is casual and fun. We came back with our daughter for dinner and the food was excellent! She said the carbonara was the best!

One of the best dining experiences I've had anywhere. This was definitely a pleasant surprise in the "funky" town of Burien. The moment we entered the door we were greeted by wonderful aromas and friendly staff. The atmosphere is lively and energetic, with an "NYC"-type of vibrancy. Our servers were great. Friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Service was attentive, without being over-bearing and they allowed us to take our time enjoying our evening of dining. The restaurants founders are long-time produce purveyors at Pike Street market and the restaurant focus is on fresh, seasonal ingredients. All of our meals were delicious. My husband and one of our companions chose from the filet of sole from the daily specials and both loved it. Our other friend and I had the gnocchi which was divine! Two of the owners, Frank and his wife Susie, personally welcomed everyone by stopping at the tables and chatting. Susie was absolutely charming! She treated us like old friends and even gave me a "guardian angel" pin after learning that I am a cancer survivor. How sweet is that? Absolutely loved this place and will return the next time we are in the area.

Frankie's is fantastic! They support our community theater with an ongoing sponsorship. They bring in top notch musical talent, like Larry Murante. They provide amazing fresh ingredients for all their dishes, like the scrumptious halibut and pasta I destroyed. Go!

First time here!! Loved it!!! I celebrated my bday there and had an amazing time! Staff were nice (paid for my drink and brought out 2 types of free deserts). I didn't expect live music but they had that too ☺ The food was also amazing! They had gluten free pasta which I loved! Cannot wait to come back again.
