Ever go into a restaurant and feel like you’re instantly a part of the family? I adore Frankie B’s. The food is scrumptious and is only outdone by the staff who clearly take pride and joy in welcoming you. You will leave happy — and full!
Frankie's is always a treat! They always have amazing food, excellent service, and provide a personal touch to every meal. We love this family run restaurant, and will continue to come back!
Great food, staff was awesome and management bent over backwards to make out time there exceptional.
We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We were brought samples of wine to choose from and we started our meal with 2 crisp white wines and the delicious Caprese Salad (the heirloom tomatoes are excellent). The herb filled focaccia bread that comes with olive oil & balsamic vinegar was phenomenal. We then switched to red wines with our dinners, spaghetti & meatballs and lasagna- both rich and comforting and absolutely mouthwatering. I had to keep myself from eating my whole dinner so that I’d have room for dessert. We split the Ricotta Berry Cake and it was the perfect ending to a fabulous meal. We had a nice chat with Frank when we walked in. The wait staff was knowledgeable and super friendly. Sue came over and sat down with us for awhile and told us about her experience that day volunteering with Make a Wish Foundation. She is truly passionate and inspiring. It felt like we were dining with family and old friends even though it was our first time in. We will definitely be back, often. Cheers!!
Very nice place
Frankie's has an outstanding female wait person who has waited on us often and is unfailingly friendly, efficient, and energetic.
Wonderful food, amazing waiter who was so accommodating to our special requests for slight changes in entree, and loved having the owners come by the table to welcome us. As we were celebrating a family birthday, we were surprised but loved the waiter inviting all of the restaurant patrons to sing happy birthday! Such a fun evening!! We will return.
Great service and food. Fun and lively restaurant to be at. Highly recommend Frankie’s!!
We were looking for a restaurant close to SEATAC before our flight back home to the east coast and decided to try Frankie’s B Town bistro. We lived in Washington for 10 years and I only wish we would have found this gem before we moved. The service was fantastic, the owners made visits to our table to introduce themselves and make sure everything was to our liking. In our party of 7, most had a different meal and not a morsel was left on the gentlemen's plates. The only reason anything was left on the ladies’ plates was because the portions were so generous! I had the margharita pizza and it was absolutely the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve eaten many!!). The chicken parmigiana, lasagna, fettuccine, and pasta special received big thumbs up. Of special note, the restaurant was hosting a pre-vacation Make-a-Wish dinner for a child with cancer. She was wearing a Make-a-Wish shirt and when she popped over to our table, we told her our son was a beneficiary of Washington Make-A-Wish 6 years ago after he was diagnosed with cancer and how special his wish was because of volunteers and donors like her. As we were leaving, she stopped us, went to her car and brought over a guardian angel pin and put it on our son’s shirt. I wanted to cry—such a small act of kindness that meant so much to us. Beyond the delicious food, the owners are just genuinely kind people. We will be back any time we are in the Seattle area.
We arrived an hour later than our reservations (for 10) due to a high school graduation lasting longer. I did call and tell them and they were so nice and understanding. They had to stay late so we could finish our dinner and they were cheerful, joking and having fun along with us. This is a very welcoming, charming restaurant and well worth the trip.
We will definitely return
This place is fantastic and I can’t believe I didn’t know about it until now! It seems very family oriented and both of our waiters were friendly, knowledgeable and really made our first experience great. The food was also amazing. I had the fish of the day and it was one of the best halibut dishes I’ve had!
You must try this place for a family dinner!
Have been to Frankie’s Bistro several times, recently for the wine tasting event. It’s my new favorite restaurant. Always good food and nice people. Wine tasting was fun! I try to go once a week❤️
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. The best chioppino I’ve had anywhere. Highly recommended!!
The food was wonderful, even the leftovers the next day. Everything was very fresh.
My husband has had chicken piccata on 2 different occasions. Both times the vegetables
were different...fresh. Yum
Great food and service is outstanding
My friend and I had dinner at Frankie's B-town bistro this week. The food was great but the service was excellent! Be sure to save room for the cream brule' - It is to die for!
Fantastic experience! Frank and Sue are absolutely amazing and truly care about their guests.
We went for the live music, and when I made the reservation, I asked to sit near the band; this request was graciously granted. The food was delicious, but seemed overpriced ($25 for a pasta special). The atmosphere was fun, and we met some nice fellow diners, but the owners seemed oblivious to us as they chatted a few times with the parties on either side of us.
We love coming to Frankie's. As soon as we walk in the door we are welcomed and are immediately treated like family coming home. The service staff are amazing. The food is exemplary.
We felt like we walked into an extension of our family while dining here. The staff were so warm and inviting and were trying their hardest to make sure our evening out with my parents from out of town and my 10 month old was spectacular. The food was fresh and local and the pasta was authentic. We'll be back.
Very disappointing dinner, the servers and owners are friendly, but almost too friendly. We waited for a long time to get water and drinks, but at the same time the owners were introducing themselves and loitering around our table which was very uncomfortable. The food was ok but nothing I would rush to return for. Have been a restaurant owner for 10 years I know how hard this business can be, but customers are not coming in to be chatted up by staff and owners.
I can't believe I'm just discovering this place. This is EXCELLENT Italian food for a neighborhood restaurant. The roasted brussels sprouts were the best I've ever had...and I've had a lot. The staff were very sweet to my kids, offering to let them build their own pizzas next time. I will definitely be back!
Wonderful as always! Frankie’s Bistro never fails to impress. Brought my friends from out of town in for dinner and they had a great time!!
My daughter says this was the best gluten free pasta she’s had in her life. Hard to beat that! Thanks! I had cioppino and it was equally awesome. Visiting here but will have to find a way to get back here.
Been to Frankie’s quite a few times and it never disappoints! Food and service is consistently excellent! I highly recommend Frankie B’s!!! Excellent food and phenomenal service!!
Frankie's is a jewel in Burien's crown. The food there is superb, and the chef is amazing. The wait staff are outstanding, you won't have to wonder where they went ever. The owners wander through and make you feel like you're a guest in their home. The night we were there a band (PB&J) was playing, which was excellent. You need to go!
We brought our friends from Burien Actors Theatre with us. Frankie's has a 'Dinner and a Show' deal with BAT that provides you with dinner at Frankies and tickets to a performance at BAT for $35. That's a steal of a deal! Burien has it all!
Very friendly staff! We walked in and the host, a waiter, and a waitress greeted us right away. The owner circulated in the dining room talking to all diners. Very homey!
Our group was at large table in the bar for happy hour at Frankie's and had a great time. Excellent happy hour menu with pizzas, salads, shrimp and grits, meatballs and more. Our group was trading bites, oohing and aghhing!! Wonderful wine and beer selections too. Go - go now! You won't be disappointed.
We love going here and see the owner's each time with great conversation and lots of great food and laughter.
The food was delicious; service was good though a little hectic. It seemed there were only two servers on the floor. We still get everything we needed
We always enjoy dining at Frankie’s Bistro. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive and the food is delicious as well as sometimes unique. We always recommend this venue to our friends.
Always an enjoyable meal. Very friendly staff that makes you feel like one of the family.
We had a great dinner at Frankie's B Town Bistro. We were served by a charming husband and wife duo, who although the restaurant was very busy were somehow able to be attentive to everyone. We highly recommend this restaurant.
As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted and treated like family.
The food and service never disappoints~~~
Great small family feel and outstanding food. Lunch prices very reasonable and service was excellent. Highly recommend for dinner also good prices and lunch
Our group went to Frankie's B-Town Bistro after attending the current play at Burien Actors Theatre (BAT). Frankie's and BAT are partnering for the program 'Dinner And A Show'. For a $35 meal you get tickets to the theater, included. It's a great deal for patrons! It just shows how terrific it is when companies partner together to benefit their community.
The food was spectacular! The ambiance is unbeatable! You're treated like family at Frankie's.
The play at BAT was outstanding, too! We had a great night!
There seemed to be some confusion with the wait staff. Although our reservation was for 5:15 pm, when we got there the card on our table said 6:15 pm, and there didn't seem to be a waiter assigned to our table. It took quite a while to get our drinks and our meals, but fortunately none of us were in a hurry! Everyone who did wait on us was very cordial, and polite.
It was a busy night and although I left message I was handicapped they didn't expect m me in a power wheelchair. It was a very busy night because it was was "dinner and theater" night. BUT immediate room was made for me by moving a couple from the one table to another! There was only one table available for handicapped seating, which is the only bad thing I can say. We were in that "no hurry" mode for food and the wait staff was superb in complying with every request we had made! The food,oh the food was extraordinary! The menu was overwhelming only because I couldn't decide what to have. I never have desert but because the food amount was just right I was able to have some! I can not say anything bad even with the beginnings of a bad date(no seat for me)it turned out t be one of our best dinning experiences!
What a find! A fun, friendly place with wonderful Italian Food! The owners make it feel like you are having dinner with your family! So special! We will be back!!
Too crowded and the service was slow. Food was good but this was an event they clearly oversold; we were elbow-to-elbow and packed in like sardines. It made what should have been a romantic dinner just uncomfortable.
