Frankie's B Town Bistro

We had a great time and will certainly be back again. Especially appreciated the accommodations with my special diet. Service was exceptional.
The food and service is typically very good. Today was no exception. I would highly recommend Frankies.
We went to Frankie's on a recommendation. We were meeting some old friends that we had not seen for a couple of years and wanted to visit as well as have a good meal. The food was very good, the other three had a bone-in Pork Chop entrée that they found extremely good, while I had a Risotto featuring Scallops. It was also very tasty.
The restaurant was very busy and also loud, making it hard to carry on a conversation at times. The bar service was some what slow but the kitchen was not. The server was very polite and knowledgeable.
The prices were higher than one might expect for a Italian Bistro, but we noticed that other tables that had pasta dishes, that the servings were huge and most of those tables asked for take-home boxes.
Frankie's B-Town Bistro is a local gem! You are immediately part of the Genzale family when you walk in the door. The food is scrumptious. There are always tables filled with families. The night we went a 'Make A Wish' family was there to have their wish granted by one of the owners. Everyone applauded. Another family there for a birthday received an all restaurant sing-a-long for their celebration.
We were just there to choose from the Burien Actor's Theatre special menu before attending a play. Frankie's sponsors BAT and we appreciate how they help their community succeed.
Really nice authentic Italian home style cooking. Large portions, enough for two meals.
My favorite restaurant/bar in Burien. The moment you walk in, you realize that this is someplace special.
There were 6 of us, we all had something different and we all proclaimed our choice as “the best”!
From special occasions, dates and romantic evenings to a seat at the bar where you can kibbutz with their wonderful bartender...this place has it all! (And where else are you greeted by one of the owners!!)
Always fun at Frankies. Great food and great service!
We really enjoy the food, service and kindness at Frankie's, and truly believe they enjoy doing what they do because they do it very well.
with great food & friendly owners. Will be going back again soon.
The food here is always fabulous. Jimmy is a great waiter/bartender.
We always love coming to Frankie's! You are made to feel at home every time. The owners stop by each table to visit and always remember each returning guest.
Ever go into a restaurant and feel like you’re instantly a part of the family? I adore Frankie B’s. The food is scrumptious and is only outdone by the staff who clearly take pride and joy in welcoming you. You will leave happy — and full!
Person in our party had been here and suggested it for her new job celebration/anniversary. Service was quick and efficient. Food was delicious and even picky son enjoyed it. Server was so friendly and helped us pick a wine. Food came quickly and was exactly what we ordered. We stayed about 2 hours and the server kept saying to not worry about the time. Will definitely come back!
Frankie's is always a treat! They always have amazing food, excellent service, and provide a personal touch to every meal. We love this family run restaurant, and will continue to come back!
Great food, staff was awesome and management bent over backwards to make out time there exceptional.
We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We were brought samples of wine to choose from and we started our meal with 2 crisp white wines and the delicious Caprese Salad (the heirloom tomatoes are excellent). The herb filled focaccia bread that comes with olive oil & balsamic vinegar was phenomenal. We then switched to red wines with our dinners, spaghetti & meatballs and lasagna- both rich and comforting and absolutely mouthwatering. I had to keep myself from eating my whole dinner so that I’d have room for dessert. We split the Ricotta Berry Cake and it was the perfect ending to a fabulous meal. We had a nice chat with Frank when we walked in. The wait staff was knowledgeable and super friendly. Sue came over and sat down with us for awhile and told us about her experience that day volunteering with Make a Wish Foundation. She is truly passionate and inspiring. It felt like we were dining with family and old friends even though it was our first time in. We will definitely be back, often. Cheers!!
Very nice place
Frankie's has an outstanding female wait person who has waited on us often and is unfailingly friendly, efficient, and energetic.
Wonderful food, amazing waiter who was so accommodating to our special requests for slight changes in entree, and loved having the owners come by the table to welcome us. As we were celebrating a family birthday, we were surprised but loved the waiter inviting all of the restaurant patrons to sing happy birthday! Such a fun evening!! We will return.
Great service and food. Fun and lively restaurant to be at. Highly recommend Frankie’s!!
We were looking for a restaurant close to SEATAC before our flight back home to the east coast and decided to try Frankie’s B Town bistro. We lived in Washington for 10 years and I only wish we would have found this gem before we moved. The service was fantastic, the owners made visits to our table to introduce themselves and make sure everything was to our liking. In our party of 7, most had a different meal and not a morsel was left on the gentlemen's plates. The only reason anything was left on the ladies’ plates was because the portions were so generous! I had the margharita pizza and it was absolutely the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve eaten many!!). The chicken parmigiana, lasagna, fettuccine, and pasta special received big thumbs up. Of special note, the restaurant was hosting a pre-vacation Make-a-Wish dinner for a child with cancer. She was wearing a Make-a-Wish shirt and when she popped over to our table, we told her our son was a beneficiary of Washington Make-A-Wish 6 years ago after he was diagnosed with cancer and how special his wish was because of volunteers and donors like her. As we were leaving, she stopped us, went to her car and brought over a guardian angel pin and put it on our son’s shirt. I wanted to cry—such a small act of kindness that meant so much to us. Beyond the delicious food, the owners are just genuinely kind people. We will be back any time we are in the Seattle area.
We arrived an hour later than our reservations (for 10) due to a high school graduation lasting longer. I did call and tell them and they were so nice and understanding. They had to stay late so we could finish our dinner and they were cheerful, joking and having fun along with us. This is a very welcoming, charming restaurant and well worth the trip.
We will definitely return
This place is fantastic and I can’t believe I didn’t know about it until now! It seems very family oriented and both of our waiters were friendly, knowledgeable and really made our first experience great. The food was also amazing. I had the fish of the day and it was one of the best halibut dishes I’ve had!
You must try this place for a family dinner!
Have been to Frankie’s Bistro several times, recently for the wine tasting event. It’s my new favorite restaurant. Always good food and nice people. Wine tasting was fun! I try to go once a week❤️
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. The best chioppino I’ve had anywhere. Highly recommended!!
The food was wonderful, even the leftovers the next day. Everything was very fresh.
My husband has had chicken piccata on 2 different occasions. Both times the vegetables
were different...fresh. Yum
Great food and service is outstanding
My friend and I had dinner at Frankie's B-town bistro this week. The food was great but the service was excellent! Be sure to save room for the cream brule' - It is to die for!
Fantastic experience! Frank and Sue are absolutely amazing and truly care about their guests.
We went for the live music, and when I made the reservation, I asked to sit near the band; this request was graciously granted. The food was delicious, but seemed overpriced ($25 for a pasta special). The atmosphere was fun, and we met some nice fellow diners, but the owners seemed oblivious to us as they chatted a few times with the parties on either side of us.
We love coming to Frankie's. As soon as we walk in the door we are welcomed and are immediately treated like family coming home. The service staff are amazing. The food is exemplary.
We felt like we walked into an extension of our family while dining here. The staff were so warm and inviting and were trying their hardest to make sure our evening out with my parents from out of town and my 10 month old was spectacular. The food was fresh and local and the pasta was authentic. We'll be back.
Very disappointing dinner, the servers and owners are friendly, but almost too friendly. We waited for a long time to get water and drinks, but at the same time the owners were introducing themselves and loitering around our table which was very uncomfortable. The food was ok but nothing I would rush to return for. Have been a restaurant owner for 10 years I know how hard this business can be, but customers are not coming in to be chatted up by staff and owners.
I can't believe I'm just discovering this place. This is EXCELLENT Italian food for a neighborhood restaurant. The roasted brussels sprouts were the best I've ever had...and I've had a lot. The staff were very sweet to my kids, offering to let them build their own pizzas next time. I will definitely be back!
Wonderful as always! Frankie’s Bistro never fails to impress. Brought my friends from out of town in for dinner and they had a great time!!
My daughter says this was the best gluten free pasta she’s had in her life. Hard to beat that! Thanks! I had cioppino and it was equally awesome. Visiting here but will have to find a way to get back here.
Been to Frankie’s quite a few times and it never disappoints! Food and service is consistently excellent! I highly recommend Frankie B’s!!! Excellent food and phenomenal service!!
Frankie's is a jewel in Burien's crown. The food there is superb, and the chef is amazing. The wait staff are outstanding, you won't have to wonder where they went ever. The owners wander through and make you feel like you're a guest in their home. The night we were there a band (PB&J) was playing, which was excellent. You need to go!
We brought our friends from Burien Actors Theatre with us. Frankie's has a 'Dinner and a Show' deal with BAT that provides you with dinner at Frankies and tickets to a performance at BAT for $35. That's a steal of a deal! Burien has it all!
Very friendly staff! We walked in and the host, a waiter, and a waitress greeted us right away. The owner circulated in the dining room talking to all diners. Very homey!
Our group was at large table in the bar for happy hour at Frankie's and had a great time. Excellent happy hour menu with pizzas, salads, shrimp and grits, meatballs and more. Our group was trading bites, oohing and aghhing!! Wonderful wine and beer selections too. Go - go now! You won't be disappointed.
