   We always love having dinner here when we’re in Frankenmuth! The Bavarian family dinner is a great sampling of everything. The service was good but the food took forever to get out (it was 50 minutes from arrival to food). We had a delightful time and will return.

   Food was "cafeteria like" only brought to the table. The emphasis is on quantity vs quality. You get a host of side dishes no matter what German meat speciality you choose. Was looking forward to some great German bread ... it was particularly disappointing.

    We had a great dining experience at the inn. The service was first class, the people friendly and helpful, the food excellent (so delicious!) and the ambiance was nostalgic and fun. The all you can eat family style dinner is perfect if you want to try a variety of foods and choose the items you like best on which to vent your appetite. The chicken, as always, is world class and different than you are likely to find anywhere else outside of Michigan's Little Bavaria. The unique herbs and seasonings deliver a scrumptious blend of savory and salty with a smooth combination that is so delectable. Having served in the armed forces in Berlin, Germany and therefore somewhat experienced, I can tell you that the whole experience is like being overseas sitting at a table in a restaurant enjoying a finely prepared meal. I love this place!

    Heather was our server and was fabulous and the food was plentiful and good. Prices a little high and a lot of screaming kids...not fun. Also the guy playing the music was a bit much.

    Very disappointed in the chicken dinners as the chicken was not flavorful at all, and it was dry. For what you are charging people for the family style. Dinners is not worth it. I will not be coming back there.

    We were seated at 5:45pm, the waitress took our drink order about 5 minutes later. The drinks (1 bottle of beer and one coffee) took 40 minutes to arrive at our table. Our waitress took orders from other tables that were seated after us and brought their drinks before ours. Twice she came to the table and said that she would get the drinks. Like I said we were seated at 5:45 and our meal didn't arrive until after 7:00 pm. And again the people that arrive after us got their dinner in a timely manner, again the same server we had.

    We’ve heard so much about the ambiance and quality of food by others who have tried it so we decided to give it a go. We decided to try the famous family style chicken dinner and every dish was tasty! The only problem was that it was way to much food! The buttered egg noodles, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing and veggies were perfectly cooked. The chicken was fried perfectly. And the salads (yes, several) that were brought out first was delicious. Even the freshly baked bread was amazing! We spent over $100 (with drinks) but was not disappointed. Highly recommend!

    We always enjoy a meal at Bavarian Inn Restaurant. This is one place where we have an enjoyable meal, catch up with each other, and leave the table quite satisfied. We arrived to the restaurant about ½ an hour early & asked if it would be possible to be seated earlier than our reservation time. We were able to be seated early. Our waitress was friendly, prompt, helpful, attentive without being overbearing. Another wonderful meal at Bavarian Inn Restaurant!

    We were very disappointed to see that the Bavarian Inn had many photos of Hillary Clinton thanking you for your “Support” REALLY? The most Corrupt Politician in the history of the United States has your support? Then I guess you do not need ours. We will NOT support businesses who support Abortion, LGBGT and the transgendering of children. Hillary falsely started all the investigations against President Trump, destroyed evidence of her computers and phones, which is a felony, lied under oath several times, and had many witnesses conveniently “commit suicide” just before they could testify. I suggest you take down her photos as people are boycotting corruption and Woke agendas.

    Food was absolutely amazing! The restaurant is a total experience. Highly recommend the beer sampler so you can taste a few. My hubby and I shared one since we're not big beer drinkers. Service was great, lots if served so got to watch a number of them in action - all great!! Got vanilla orange ice cream for dessert with our dinners. A great topper to our meal with a huge sampling of delicious sides and flavorful meats. A can't miss!!

    We waited over an hour and a half for our food. No one mentioned to us that the wait would be this long. We were there for 3 hours with little kids. Ridiculous.

    Worst German/Bavarian food I have ever eaten. The food looked as if it came straight out of a tv dinner box. The smoked pork chop was the same Pork chops you get from Hormel or smiththfield in that class of smoked chops from a grocery store. I work at one so I know and I also smoke food at home and have been to several german restraunts and smoked food places. For being a meal that cost almost 100.00. You are better off eating at Mcdonalds.
