We dined at 8:45 pm and the ac was too cold. Perhaps it was where we were sitting in the back corner table. We left our coats on. The smaller plate portions were very small for the price. Surprisingly, the sides were more substantial. The panna cotta was delicious but tiny.

Excellent--It's been years since I've had a meal as outstanding -- in every respect. Not only was the food a knockout, but the service was impeccable and the glassware and pottery were lovely. We left just glowing from the experience.

The tables are uncomfortably close together and it was noisy, but the meal and service were so very very good that I feel a little churlish even mentioning anything negative.

Kudos to the kitchen and all the staff.

Overall good meal, but lack luster on presentation and flow of service. Applewood bacon beignets are a beautiful savory indulgence and absolutely worth trying.

I have not been to Frances but have heard great things. It did not disappoint. The service, food and wine list are outstanding . The portion sizes are also quite generous. It's a great little spot and has a great vibe.

The space is warm and cozy, seating is intimate but comfortable. My husband and I appreciated the a good balance of attentiveness and casualness of the staff. We felt taken care of but not smothered. The food was tasty, fun and flavorful, we especially enjoyed the cornmeal spoon bread side and agree that we could eat that every day for the rest of our lives. Frances was a fun and tasty night out!!

This place surpassed expectations! Highly recommend! They source local ingredients and change their menu frequently so I'm sure we'll be back soon. Their bacon beignets are to die for!

Delicious meal, but not sure it is worth a 5 week wait for reservations. Pricey...small portions, so you order many courses. But Delicious! Great service!

Great value for all that we ate. Delicious house-made bread, chickpea fritters, creamed onion soup, pork chop, steak fillet, asparagus and Parmesan side and awesome Choco shortbread cookies. Lovely corner table for 3-4 and great service I’d go back.

We go to Frances every 2-3 months and each time, the food is delicious, the flavors are amazing. We never get disappointed.

Our dinners at Frances were most delightful. Lots of delicious appetizers that we enjoyed sharing and entrees that were generous and very tasty as were the desserts. We will soon be back with friends and family.

Get rid of 1 table and you’d be set. You pull out a chair for a guest, not a table.

My husband and I shared the Bacon Beignets, Red Boar Kale Salad, Star Route Spring Onion Soup, Five-Dot Ranch Bavette Steak, and the Dark Chocolate Pound Cake. Every single dish was fantastic, it's rare to try so many different things and have them all be that good. The only drawback was that the tables are very close together so it's hard to have a private conversation, and the noise level made it hard to hear at times. The food more than made up for the drawbacks.
