Fox & Hound - Richmond
Had a great time celebrating my sister-in-laws birthday!
This was my third visit in the past week....I'm really enjoying this place!
Great place to meet with friends and family.
Outstanding customer service.
On Sunday July 1, 2018 we were fighting flies...the chicken wings were old and smelled bad/ not fresh...the manager was not empathetic about the fact that we were fighting flies...despite these things the waiter was nice, professional, attentive, and helpful.
Good food, service, and portion sizes.
It’s a sports bar.
Go there if you want to watch multiple games while hearing one game’s call over speakers loud enough to make the beer vibrate in your glass.
Don’t go there if you want to converse with others.
2) Over priced mass prepared food:
Go there if you want a burger while you watch the game(s).
Don’t go there if you want a meal.
3) High customer to wait staff ratio:
Go there if you wish to see your server every 20 minutes or so to ask if you would like another beer.
Don’t go there if you wish a restaurant-like level of attention for your server.
We arrived on time for our reservation but there was no host/hostess on duty and a sign that said "Seat Yourself". There was no indication of where to sit and the restaurant was hosting a party and also some kind of card playing group. We found a table and waited to be served. I told the waitress that we had reservations but apparently she did not log in to Open Table to record our dine. The food was OK - a little sparse for the price. We ended up having two waitresses and it was explained that the first waitress was new. The TVs were a little loud at times. All in all it was not terrible but not my cup of tea.
