Run off the mill sports bar. All the food you could want, so long as it is deep fried
I had the fish and chips. They were really good! The place is very lively and loud. But hey they have off track betting!
It took 10 minutes for the server to come over, despite only 4 ppl in the bar. I wasn't given any water. My wings took 20 minutes to come out and my chicken burger was burnt and soggy with miso butter.
I asked for my check and they took another 10 minutes. Still no water.
Showed up with family. Not busy at all and we were directed to seat ourselves. After 20 minutes with nobody coming to take order I went up and asked bartender to send somebody to our table. After watching waitresses talk to each other and still nobody came to take any order we waited another 20 minutes before we finally got up and left. 40 minutes waiting for Anybody to come to our table. Nobody came. Will NEVER go to this place again.
If you are a great sport fan then this is the place for you
I struggle with this recommendation because I do understand that a kitchen gets busy. I'm in the service industry so I get it. However, we walked in to a not busy restaurant. Unfortunately there were no low tables so we had to sit at a bar height table with 4 kiddos. We made it work. Waitress was friendly (didn't really know her menu but it is what it is), got our drinks, took our orders, and then we waited... and waited... and waited... after 45 minutes we still hadn't gotten our appetizer. When we asked she just said a huge to go order came in. Roughly an hour and half after arriving we finally get our food. Mine was missing the queso but for the most part everything tasted great. There had to have been a better way to handle having a large to go order that did not come at the expense of everyone dining in AND if this was such a big issue, then the restaurant staff needed to be more proactive about addressing the guests. I saw several guests get up and walk out. We nearly did ourselves! Eventually we got a discount on our ticket, but only after sending the ticket back for price discrepancies. I don't know, I try not to be too judgemental towards slow service, but this was just a little too much.
Our server was good. It was a lunch shift on a Friday. The food was bland and over cooked. For being a sports bar, the noise level was appropriate. Word of advice... when you have 12 people in your bar watching the World Cup, don’t change the channel during the game.
Went out too dinner and was great food but most importantly great service!! Would recommend
What a nice surprise in this establishment! I wish I could remember the waitresses name. The waitress was great. Very friendly and obviously likes her job. The main part of the establishment was loud but the back portion was much quieter.
By far this was the most fun we have had in a restaurant in years. The food was good and the service was top of the line.
It looked like those around us were enjoying themselves just as much as we were. If we lived closer to DTC I can easily imagine us becoming regulars.
Keep up the good work.
First, Fox & Hound didn't even know that we had used Open Table to set up a reservation. They were able to seat our party of 10, but only in the bar. The server didn't communicate to us that the kitchen was only staffed by a single manager until after we ordered our food, which showed up late and only for 2-3 people at a time. Our server never refilled water and had to be flagged down several times for drinks. This place looks and feels like it wants to go out of business.
Oh boy. They would’ve done themselves a favor by just NOT opening today. One of the few places open in Christmas and we really wanted to watch the Basketball game, so we went despite the terrible yelp reviews. The three people they had working, and I don’t mean three servers, I mean three people-one server, one bartender and one manager type guy- all tried really really hard, but they were insanely understaffed. 2.5 hours and we got two cocktails, one appetizer and one hamburger. Saw at least five tables get up and leave, but like I said, we were really just there for the game. The restaurant was out of vermouth, and ketchup. Again, the folks who were working were very nice, but couldn’t save this sinking ship. The pretzel bites probably would have been good if they’d been even close to warm, and the wagyu burger was decent. The Parmesan fries had not a hint of Parmesan, so perhaps they were out of that as well.
It was late around 9pm on a Sunday night so it was pretty quiet with no more football games on. Great beer selections and the bartender made a great recommendation. The boneless wings were a disappointment, for starters they weren’t properly tossed in the sauce and the ranch was very watery.
This place was terrible. First of all they don’t even subscribe to Open Table so my reservation was meaningless. Second there were 10 people in our party and they gave us a server who had started that very day. Third the beer was very watery. Forth the food was so salty and greasy it was inedible. I will never go back to this restaurant again.
Appetizers were good. Main entrees were Luke warm and not as good. Prob not a place I'll revisit for main dinner/meal, but drinks and appetizers yes.
We were fairly disappointed. First they told us they couldn’t see our open table reservation and that they don’t know how to access them. Luckily it was just two of us so there were tables available.
It was extremely loud. The waitress seemed to forget we ordered queso as an app because it was cold with skin on top of it when we got it. When she finally brought our main meal, the hot sandwiches were cold too. We wouldn’t go back
Party of 10 on a Saturday night. The burgers and beer were good. The other meals were poor - cold, no flavor and poor service. Their big screen TV looks projector screen from the 90's. Will not go back.
The restaurant, a sports bar, was nearly empty on Black Friday when we had a late lunch. The service was extremely slow, and we had to wave at our server at least twice to get his attention. I ordered a medium-rare burger and it was well-done, but the hour was so late, I didn't say anything. The sweet potato fries were excellent.
When we finally got our food it was very good. Slow service. Lemon martini drop was the size of a shot not a good value.
