   Sunday dinner. Meat was supposed to be sirlion but felt like a cheaper cut and was over cooked . The pork belly was the tiniest piece of meat The green vegetables were shredded white cabbage and red cabbage. Disappointed with the vegetable selection. 1 potatoe cut in half roasted per plate . Half a carrot. Yorkshire pudding was the plate filler and a cube of stuffing. Ordered extra cauliflower cheese , pigs in blankets and cheese mash which bulked out the meal. For the price of a main course there wasn't a lot of food .

   The service was really good and the waiting staff were delightful. The food, however, is not good enough. The burrata was served hot! The mushroom starter was unedifying, and the main courses were a varying degree of not good. The menu was heavily beef laden, and there was no real balance to it. It was very loud from the bar, and it made it quite challenging. It needs to rethink its menu and work out, whether it's a drinking pub or a food pub.

Regarding the burrata, we believe you had our burrata sandwich, which is served warm by design — though we understand it may not have met your expectations. We appreciate your comments on the mushroom starter, the mains, and the menu overall.    Menu was concise but varied. Refreshing to find a choice of a few classics and a few variations. Bao Buns starter was amazing! Pie with bone marrow gravy was great, and was well presented. Overall I thought the Four Bells was good value. Service was sincere and very friendly. I will definitely return.

   Pleasant pub and good food but service a little slow, given that it wasn't busy. Overall, a pleasant experience

   We had a Mother’s Day breakfast at the Four Bells. The food was hot and tasty and the service was excellent. I had American pancakes with cream and maple syrup and my daughter had bacon on a gluten free brioche bun. Charlie, Jake and the team create a lovely atmosphere in the place and we would highly recommend eating at the Four Bells.

    Had very good service from staff. Food was well prepared and tasty. Could have a larger menu but realize times are difficult for pubs.
