Founding Farmers Alexandria is located just a short walk from Potomac Yard in Oakville Triangle.

Open every day – serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekday happy hour 3:30pm-6pm, and weekend brunch – their expansive made-from-scratch menus offer American-inspired dishes including their famous fried chicken & waffles, farmhouse sushi, a variety of salads, fresh pastas, premium seafood & more. A full-service bar features cocktails made with Founding Spirits, their DC distillery. There is also a full service patio available that's seated on a first come, first served basis.

Breakfast was lovely. Quiet at 8:30 on a Thursday. Food was good, simple bacon, eggs, hash browns and a biscuit. Cold brew was good addition.

We had a wonderful server who was very nice and very good at her job. However our overall experience could have been better. Two of our guests ordered the Mac and cheese and we were shocked by the portion size. When we have dined at the China town location the portion was double in size. This was in no way an adult sized entree and was defiantly not worth the price. Our guests were still hungry and needed to order additional meals. There’s were also young women in their 20s not even full grown men. When management got involved they were told that they could get more mac and cheese but they had already put in the order or additional food. We were stunned when the chicken noodle soup came out and it was bigger than the mac and cheese that been previously ordered. The manager also brought out another beverage for one of our guests but seemed annoyed and just walked away after handing it off. It’s fine to show emotion in the kitchen, but it definitely shouldn’t be visible to guests when out on the floor. We also had a birthday at our table that was stated on the reservation and it was never acknowledged by staff. Again at the Chinatown location a dessert was brought out by staff for the birthday celebration.

We were seated at a dirty table at 10 am for breakfast. It hasn't been busy at all. The restaurant is beautiful and food never disappoints! Service was slow and not very helpful. We recieved the bare minimum. But love the place and understand that they are still new.

This was our first visit to the Alexandria, VA location. We absolutely loved the restaurant. We enjoyed the Yankee Pot Roast and the Butternut Squash Ravioli. The restaurant is modern and has a great ambiance. Aaron, our server, provided excellent customer service. I rate this restaurant a 5 out of 5. It is a winner!

This was my second visit to this restaurant since it opened this year. It was a very good experience although it was quite busy. Our service assistant was very good. We were seated near an overhead air vent and thus encountered a draft. She recognized that quickly and offered us hot water or a hot beverage to minimize the impact of the draft. She provided either photos or detailed descriptions of menu items that we had questions about. It was a great dining experience. My friend and I were quite satisfied with our meal selections!

The food was very good! The booth was in a comfortable space. We had a nice brunch. The service was sketchy - polite, friendly but less than attentive. It was busy, but should be expected for Sunday Brunch.

We had the BEST server CHRIS, he handled this 10 ppl reservation without a hiccup. Very respectful to the 80 year old birthday girl and all her guests. Even when the salmon was under cook he apologized and made it right for my 3 year old granddaughter. For Cuts alone, we will visit again. No not really, the food is awesome always. And of course the dessert, is always good. Thank you again, see you soon

Very disappointing experience. Service provided was less than satisfactory. We frequent Founding Farmers restaurants often. This one leaves much to be desired.

Very, very noisy Check in was bumpy. We stood for 15 minutes and person in party uses walker Food and service were great. Good selection
