Open every day – serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekday happy hour 3:30pm-6pm, and weekend brunch – their expansive made-from-scratch menus offer American-inspired dishes including their famous fried chicken & waffles, farmhouse sushi, a variety of salads, fresh pastas, premium seafood & more. A full-service bar features cocktails made with Founding Spirits, their DC distillery. There is also a full service patio available that's seated on a first come, first served basis.

    It was just okay. Second time there and food did not come out at the same time again. Husbands food was not hot either and mine was just okay. Very pricey

    Our food wasn't hot - just luke warm and the halibut special was tasteless. The vegetables were swimming in water and mushy! Our waitress started out very good but her friends came in and she spent all of her time talking with them. It was not easy to get her attention. When the DC venue opened it was fabulous. It has deteriorated significantly since.

    This Founding Farmers location is the best. It’s beautiful inside, the servers are friendly and helpful and the food is delicious! They even validate parking which is huge and much appreciated!

    The food was below average and the service was terrible. I was disappointed because it was my first visit to the new restaurant near my home. I hope they can get their act together.

    On Friday, June 20, we went back to Founding Farmers in Alexandria, VA to give it a 2nd chance. We had incredible table service, and the food was delicious. The spinach dip, onion rings, scallops, shrimp, prime rib, and brisket sandwich were great! Save room for dessert! Thanks to Jaee the manager and the staff for a really nice experience.

    The brunch is so good! I got the Crab Cake Benedict and a side of 2 pancakes and ate it all. Portions are good. I’ll def be back very soon!

    Awful. Ordered an app but they were out of tortilla chips, ordered the chicken salad but they refused to take the corn off so I said fine, salad came and had dill in it but I can't eat dill and its not on the ingredients...ordered a burger medium rare and I cut into it and the raw meat spilled out the bun. My friend ordered the cheese grits and they were not edible, other friend ordered a side and she said it was terrible as well. the restaurant is very nice, love the decor. manager kind but there are serious issues.

    Very disappointed. It was Father’s Day so we expected it to be busy. However, the restaurant did not meet our expectations for good service or quality of food. The waitress greeted us nicely but after that really was not attentive. Our drinks came a large time apart. The appetizer, while tasting nice, was cold. My husband’s food was overdone. My food did not taste very good. I asked the waitress to take my plate away while we waited for the restaurant to recook my husband’s, and she said she’d come back for it. That was not for some time. We had to ask another waiter to help us get water as the waitress didn’t bring any. My husband asked for more of a condiment, but the waitress never brought it. The noise, especially from crying babies or children banging on the table was very distracting. The restaurant did take off my husband’s meal on the check. I think after she realized how badly it was going, the waitress just focused on other tables. All in all a terrible experience.
