   I have been to this new location several times, and enjoyed the food and service. However, my latest visit, something was off with the food. I did not enjoy the deviled eggs (lacked seasoning and flavor), the onions on my smashed burger sliders were supposed to be caramelized but instead they burned, and left a terrible aftertaste. Not sure who was cooking today but everything I ordered was disappointing in comparison to the quality of previous visits. Hopefully, this was just a fluke.

   I have never had a bad dish. Today, I had the plank Salmon with a salad that had mint and blueberries-outstanding. It was a bit chilly but the hot latte with extra caramel hit the spot. The service is ALWAYS top notch. I am a physician, and my friend and I attended to someone who fell on the floor after losing her balance. The wait staff was extrememly thankful for our help and even rewarded us with their homemade chocolate covered peanut cups! How awesome.

   The food was pretty good, but not a restaurant I would go to if I had a taste for seafood. We ordered a side of scallops with our entrees, but they only came sauteed and only three to an order.

   The food didn’t meet our expectations compared to our last visit. Both the fries and chicken tenders were overly oily, with oil pooling on the plate. The small platters also arrived wet, and we had to dry them ourselves. Additionally, the chicken parmigiana was tough and difficult to chew.

   I've been excited to try Founding Farmer's Alexandria ever since it opened, but my experience today for brunch did not meet expectations. The restaurant is not managing its menu and offerings well, and the server was slow and misinformed. I initially ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese but was told it wasn't available, I ordered the carrot cake and that was unavailable as well. Service was slow and inattentive

   Food was OK. Generous servings. French toast and grits very were very odd. Service was terrible, server was dismissive and inattentive. Empty plates sat on our table long after we were done eating. Bill delivered w/o us being asked if we wanted anything else. Server never checked in after food was delivered. Fourth time there, will not go back.

   We will definitely be back! Everything was exceptional! Our waitress, Sarah, was outstanding and offered amazing service with kindness and efficiency. The food was delicious, and the restaurant is incredibly comfortable! I have been to a handful of the Founding Farmer locations multiple times and this new location is by far my favorite! I hope to be back in the area to try it out again soon!

   Chicken and waffles were disappointing at this location. My husband was given only wings as his chicken pieces. When we asked about it, the server told us it’s usually a leg, wing, and thigh. He did nothing to remedy the situation.
