Founding Farmers Tysons is a farmer owned restaurant that offers fresh food and drink with an emphasis and focus on cooking from scratch with ingredients sourced from near and far, from sources we trust, in a modern farmhouse setting. The bar is not to be missed, offering delicious scratch sodas, craft cocktails, and an all Virginia draught beer list; we'll have just the thing to quench your thirst.

Approximately 30% of the menu includes items inspired by the culinary traditions of Virginia in a modern way. Weekend brunch at Founding Farmers Tysons is BUFFET style, with a wide array of breakfast, lunch, salad, entree, and dessert options.

The restaurant is upscale casual, which welcomes business casual dress, and dress that would be appropriate in a nice restaurant; this includes jeans and athletic wear, and warm-weather clothing, including shorts.

We had a great Holiday Party, the servers were flexible with our White Elephant exchange, taking up a huge area! Food was great! Valet is great but it’s a close parking lot! Would definitely recommend!

Went for a business dinner. Food and service just ok. Seemed overpriced. Place didn’t seem any more special than any other suburban chain restaurant. Don’t understand the attraction.

I really enjoy this restaurant. It's a nice restaurant that reminds me of that kind of place you can take your spouse and your boss equally as well. I never am disappointed and now they sell the Impossible Burger, so vegetarian burger lovers have something to eat that isn't pea or mushroom based!

My coffee was lukewarm and I didn’t receive my creamer per my initial request. The server didn’t come back to take our remaining drink order until over 10 minutes even though it was not very busy in the morning. Server wasn’t very pleasant.

Our group of 7 really went crazy - corn bread, biscuits, deviled eggs, farmers’ salad, pasta, fish.... great food and tasty strawberry soda! Too loud and at times deafening to point of downright annoying. This, and several confusions from bill tabulation errors (plural) are reasons for less then perfect score. Real standouts: my husband ordered apple pie - got 1/4 pie and was one of best slices of apple pie he has ever had - didn’t try but it looked spectacular including ribbon of caramel garnish. Another standout was pork porchetta with cannelloni beans, grilled veggies and mashed-potatoes looked amazing - nice deep sear on meat and great portions. My lobster mac n cheese was tasty but not amazing- great portion and full lobster tail but less then ideal mac n cheese with slightly over cooked pasta but slightly under cheesed under sauced

It was our first time for brunch. Overall, the food was really good. There is a little traffic issue getting into the buffet room, as plates are only in one place and it's not at the start of of food, and checking in was a zoo. Other than the logistics, the food and service was fantastic!

The only day available to meet with y friends was in the busiest day for the restaurant: Sunday brunch! We had two tables to sit our party. The staff did all they could to sit us close to each other. We ended up in one table which was wonderful and we were able to really enjoy each other’s company!!! Thank you so much!!!

Unfortunately, we did not have a good brunch experience. Our server must have been inexperienced, she was not knowledgeable about the menu nor the brunch procedure. We like this restaurant but brunch yesterday disappointed, the food was cold and the service poor.

Everything was great but when we got there the front desk woman said she didnt see my reservation that I did online thru open table and I had just received my email confirmation and she said she still didnt see it in her system. It just made me worried for the future . What if they werent able to fit me in like they did this time. PLEASE WORK WITH OPEN TABLE AND FIND OUT THE PROBLEM.

Good food. A little overpriced for the amount of food (I ordered scallops for $25, which came with only 4 scallops and risotto. I liked the ambience and the seating. Good service. Wine by the glass is half the cost of some bottles, so get a bottle. Side note- something they were cooking left a very strong smell on our coats during the time we waited in the lobby area. I think I like the one in Potomac better. But I’d still like to try their brunch.

Terrific experience. They were prepared for us and honored my request for a large booth. The waitress was wonderful and very personable. We had a variety of meals - trout, pasta with shredded mo, veggie burgers, beef tips with sides, etc. I heard good reports on all. Especially the house farmers salad & the veggie burger!!

We asked for separate checks too & had no problem getting that done.

The waiter was slow to bring extra plates for out appetizer and I requested charge for a twenty when I paid the bill which the same waiter only brought back when I questioned him on it. I do not believe he would have brought my change back had I not reminded him.

As opposed to the Potomac location, I was pleasantly surprised to find the brunch buffet option at the Tysons location. The stations were constantly replenished and there was a large variety of options available.

This was our second visit and it certainly didn't disappoint. Our waiter was excellent. He suggested various items for dinner and dessert. We took his advice and we both our dinner, Yankee Pot Roast and our dessert was the carrot cake were delicious. Oh and before I forget we ordered the Farmer Jon drink which definitely put smiles on our faces, delicious. I can't wait for our next visit to try something else, knowing/hoping that it will be just as good if not better. Food and service are always excellent.
